I was only there to return something, but the service I received was superior.. including them bringing a cart to my car to help move the heavy item. Thank you!!
The products are wonderful but the delivery was so bad I wont use them again. I spent over 5000.00 on carpets, shelf with electronic fireplace, 2 pillows( monogram is gorgeous), large lr coffee table... again, the product is gorgeous butthat would not have mattered if I never got any of it because the large rolled up 8x10 rugs were put down by garage door that I dont use. The fireplace and mantle was laying diagonally across brick stairs by front door basically yelling come steal me! They could have stleast pushed a few more feet and got it on porch. No knock, no doorbell rung. No text message etc. I wanted to get a couch and chair and some curtains from them but wont now.
Terrible customer service! Allyssa is the only saving grace of this store. She was completely professional and tried to help me in every way she could. Unfortunately, every other employee told me I was wrong (what happened to the customer is always right?) or that they couldnt help me with an order I wanted to place. This store didnt have a quilt in stock that I wanted, so I asked them to order it to store and Id pick it up... they were going to make me pay for shipping. No way! Between having me pay for shipping (even when I was going to spend over $500 and had a Pottery Barn credit card) and selling me final sale items without warning me first that they were final sale, I will no longer be shopping at Pottery Barn. Extremely disappointed in the customer service.
I knew that I wanted a Pottery Barn slip covered couch, so I went to the VB Town Center location to figure out the size and material. The staff was very friendly and there was a great selection of household decor. Although it took 7 weeks to get here, the couch is perfect!!
It was Black Friday sale. All signs said 20% off all furniture. Wanted to buy a coffee table for 999 $. They only took 50$ off and you had to pay 40 $ to get the table to the store. What a ridiculous way off doing business. Total scam.

Every time I go into pottery barn everyone is always welcoming and kind. I have never had a bad experience in the store, the people that work there have the best customer service you will find in Hampton Roads. I highly recommend them for all of your home decor needs.
Product quality is far below the cost. This is not a review against the store in particular, but so many of their products that we have owned have failed. Seriously over rated brand.
I do not usually write reviews, however Jeff was so amazing tonight I just MUST give my sincere THANKS! I have seriously contemplated the Pearce Sectional for YEARS (about 5-6 to be exact), but was so gun shy to pull the trigger on such a major purchase. Times like these call for expertise and Jeff was exactly what I needed. He covered room size, design, lifestyle and more to assist with my decision...and with compassion! Thank you Jeff! I look forward to telling you how much I love our new sectional :-) Happy Holidays!!!p.s. The fabric looks like its a winner and the pillow inserts fit perfect.
I went in and saw a pendant light that I wanted. Was attracted by the 30% off sign. I get to the register and during checkout there is no mention of the discount. Not only that, you cant take it away in the store, the order has to be placed. After asking for the 30% off which is advertised ON the light I wanted, the employee said that discount is only for in store models, which they didnt have any of. So then I said why dont you take the sign down because not only is that unfair, its bad business. She said we cant change the tags And we went back and forth for a few minutes before I just said fine. Second bad experience there, the first had to do with me sitting on furniture in the store for 2-3 minutes and being shewed out by staff. HORRIBLE treatment. People need to stop being fooled, this store and its employees are trash

Disappointing customer service and ordering experience: I purchased a set of pottery barn pillowcases and sheets in December. After the sheets arrived I received an email that the pillowcases were now backordered to January. January has arrived and I received an email that they are now backordered until May. A call to customer service provided no explanation why the order keeps getting pushed and no solution other than a refund.
Beautiful store with beautiful items to sell if you are a big girl and dont need someone to help you shop. I had no problem with customer service. Some people will never be happy, not me I love this place.
Ive never been a fan of Pottery Barn, have always found it all so drab, boring & extremely overpriced. Did the husbandly duty & went along with my wife, as looking around places like this pleases her for some unknown reason. Looked around for a bit, didnt buy anything because its all drab, boring & overpriced, but hey, my wife was pleased.
Terrible customer service. This location has had a complete change in staff and the new people are terrible. You just made it so we are guaranteed to never shop with pottery barn again.

The store advertises on their door that they are open until 9 pm. My husband, friend, and I with our two small children in strollers go to walk in at 8:40pm. With other patrons in the store they tell us they are closed. Thrown off I let them know what time their door states they close. They are aware, but are closed sooooo?? We didn’t want to stay at that point anyway, but wow horrible customer service on day 2 of being open. I won’t be back!

Our family has been huge supporters of Pottery Barn for over a decade. When my 15 year old son was born his entire room was outfitted with PB Kids which Im not even sure exist these days. We have purchased numerous dishes, rugs, lamps and more and have been very satisfied with the quality. However, in recent years its been poor floor service which had been an issue as to why we no longer shop them.The new building that opened July 2018 in Town Center is in a sparking new ridiculously gorgeous all first level glass corner. The location is has retail on the first and apartments above. Its stunning to view the showroom from the exterior sidewalk. I cant imagine at night what it must look like. Parking is free and has unlimited time by nearby garage. Surface parking is outside their door. Be cautious of street level time limits. Some are 30 minutes, other two hours.There is no way to describe how freaking incredible, trendy and modern the space is. Concrete floors, exposed ceilings and stunning natural lighting make it a winner. However, its the amazing contents and sweet displays that will have your jaw drop. If you like soft and conservative colors you will be a fan.The store is large and has all the home items you can imagine including furniture. bedding, dishes, rugs, draperies and on and on. A 5 for the displays, they are breathtaking.I browsed the store for around 20 minutes and was never approached by either of the two sales associates on the floor. Other customers browsed as well and I did not see they were being assisted. One associate was on the phone in the Design Studio. After preparing to exit an associate working on a Halloween display asked me if I needed help. She stopped what she was doing and friendly.I want to say I will be back and bring my wife to look for items that we have been in need of. However, Pottery Barn makes it hard when the customer is clearly not the priority. With a price point as high as this retailer customer service should be paramount. 3.5, rounding up. The store is to die for.

Went in to buy sheets and towels. Asked for some help reaching the items I wanted to purchase. They said they would send someone to help. Saw lots of clerks walking by...heads down...no eye contact....no one wanted to help...after 15 minutes left. Horrible customer service.
