In my case I was replacing everything except for the garage doors, themselves. During the job they realized that something in their estimate wasnt actually necessary. I could not pull up my garage door. Called Sears to schedule a technician for repair. Great job by Michael Tobias. Very professional. He assessed the situation, let me know the problem and gave me a quote for repair before fixing the door. He also gave me a quote for a new install Garage door opener (all the wiring was there just was never interested in getting one). He replaced my old springs, installed new garage door opener, sensors and keypads plus trained me on how to use them. Very happy customer. Highly recommend! :-) Thanks Mike.

From initial consultation to installation, the service was great. The custom size garage door took 4 weeks to arrive, but it was communicated to us so there were no surprises. In the meantime, we had the exterior trim redone and wrapped, because it was water damaged and had rotted wood. Trim looks great as you can see in the photo. The new garage door opens and closes quietly and smoothly. Its the insulated type, so were excited that the finished room over the garage wont have extreme temperature differences from rest of the house. The installer Mike was super friendly and knowledgeable. What impressed me the most was that he took the time to protect our newly done epoxy floors by laying down padding on top of the floors. He treated the work as if it was his own home. I wish i had the before picture where you could see the rotten wood trim and the huge gap/opening where the original door barely touched the ground. Mike fixed all the gaps and its air tight. No more worries of pests or debris coming into the garage. I also learned that they provide yearly tuneup services to keep the door running smoothly. That is good information to know to protect this investment. Thank you to the Sears team for great products and service. I know to come back to you all when im ready to replace our other doors.

One of my garage doors required a repair for the lift system. The Technician, Mike, quickly made the repair. After a 2 month nightmare dealing with Home Advisor, 2 technicians, 3 visits and ordering parts, (they did return my money), I called Sears Door. My old garage door broke and got stuck in the open position last Wednesday. By Monday the following week, I had a brand new garage door installed by Mike. The entire process went smoothly and I couldn’t have been happier. Mike was able to stop by on Wednesday (on the same day I called) to not only do an estimate on a new garage door but he also managed to get my broken door closed — something he didn’t have to do. He gave me a conservative estimate on when he could install the new door and I was pleasantly surprised when the office called back and said it could be done much sooner. On the day of the installation, he came first thing in the morning and worked nonstop to get the old door removed and the new door installed. He didn’t call it a day until he was satisfied that it ran perfectly. He even showed me how to setup the external keypad which I hadn’t installed. The door now functions perfectly and I am very happy with the service.

Very happy with the level of service Mike M. provided me in replacing a broken spring for my 2-car garage. I never realized the convenience of having an automatic garage door until it no longer worked. The spring breaking came at a bad time. I had to bring outdoor furniture and various items in for Hurricane Dorian. I had to bring everything around back and bring those large items through our backdoor. Every time I walked past the garage door, it upset me I could not open it, even when set on manual. Never realized the importance of that spring. I knew this had to be replaced by a professional. Due to a power outage the night before, our garage door opener was fried due to a power surge when power was restored.Michael came to assess the situation and installed a new motherboard on a stifling 100 degree day. He reprogrammed all the remotes and made sure they were in good working order. And, moreover, he greased all the rollers on the garage door so they didnt squeak anymore. And when I went to give him a bottle of cold water from our garage fridge, I found out it had lost power too. Michael immediately saw the problem and turned the GFI switch back on.
