I made an appointment with Precision and two days later everything was fixed. Jeff Masters called and came earlier than my appointment time. My electric garage door would only go up half way and then stop. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and explained to me in detail what was happening. He replaced my electric door operator in no time and left everything clean. I like that he had everything on his truck and I didn’t have to schedule another appointment. This is the second time I used Precision the first time was about 10 to years ago my door cable and spring snapped, it’s been about 27 years now and the cable is still in great condition. Everything is running smooth and is very quiet when opening and closing. The price wasn’t to bad for everything that came with it, most of all safety. The office staff was also great. Dan Miller was awesome, came out as promised ran through full explanation of recommendations based on existing setup, took care of complete install of new opener and updated parts. Now both doors open smoothly and much improved from before, plus walked through use/programming of keypad and incorporating with cars built-in garage opener functionality. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome experience with Garth and Jason today! We had called about a $75 tuneup special (per door) and had our two doors evaluated today. Since one of our garage door openers was 28 years old We needed a little more than a tuneup. Garth was so professional and thorough in explaining our options and his recommendations. Chris did any amazing job with alignment recalibration. I thought for sure I was going to need an entire unit replacement. Sometimes you just need to call the experts to get the job done right. I had a couple different general contractors look at the garage door issue and they were clueless.

Called late Friday night, and their 24/7 response is no joke, got an appointment for Sunday noon. Technician arrived right in time, diagnosed the issue and gave us three options for proceeding. I called Precision Garage Doors just to have them come out to evaluate the garage door of the condo I just bought. It sounded like it was on its last leg and would break any second. Alex is a great technician. He explained what may have caused the cable to come off the pulley. He explained that the hinges must be lubricated periodically with a silicon based lubricant. He explained that I may need to have more work done in the future. When I do require work I will request Alex to do the job.

I give their Technicians high marks for customer service. They are knowledgeable and patient, and genuinely care about the concerns of the customer. The one rub for me is their fee policy. They are the only home maintenance company that I know of who demands a sizable fee for the service call and doesnt credit it towards the final invoice when the cost exceeds that minimum fee! I will still use them, though, because I have their private label opener, and it comes with a lifetime warranty...

Todd showed up on time, it was not a Precision door, but this was 3rd time I have used them for maintenance. My sensor lights needed replacing, after some discussion, Todd advised actual garage door was in good shape,but my motor showed age. He advised this comes with a lifetime warranty, and 2 of my 3 service calls would have been covered under the warranty. The cost of the new motor was considerably higher than the sensor lights, but I appreciated his honesty & professionalism, and it was a no brainer to go with his recommendation. Just moved into new home and found the garage door was in bad need of some work (only 1 spring, did the shake and rumble opening and closing, and all kind of terrible noises. I called Precision Garage Door very early this morning when I broke my garage door earlier in the week after leaving something too close to the locking mechanism and causing a hung door. I was shocked that someone actually answered the phone at 7am & set up same day service. The technician, Dan, showed up earlier than his scheduled time to fix the door & explained in detail how it was broken and what was needed to make the repair- so I got an anatomy lesson on my pre 1993 ghetto fabulous garage door. Dan repaired the hung door & made sure it opened and closed reliably, then left a quote in the event we need to replace our current configuration. Showed up on time and called to let me know he was on the way. He let me know what the problem was and explained what he was doing the whole time. He even looked at things that weren’t part of the problem and improved them to make sure my garage door runs great for a long time. My single car garage door spring cable broke and the extension spring incurred some damage. Precision Doors Jeff Masters was in-charge of the project. He maintained excellent communication with regards to his arrival time, he quickly diagnosed the problem, and he provided me with several options. We elected to install a new motor, new torsion spring, pulleys, cables, rollers, remote system, etc. because the system was approximately 20 years old. I was so close to simply replacing the cable myself, but I am glad I called Precision Door to fully diagnose any problems that I would have missed. Jeff Masters did a fantastic job, and I would fully recommend him and Precision Door.

I’m really not sure how to describe the service we received other than disappointing. We have two garage doors. On the same service call they replaced both garage door openers along with what they call a BIONIC Rebuild. $2,600 in total for the service and parts. Not cheap but you get what you pay for is the expression. In the end we have two doors that look completely different as far as the finished install. We have exposed wiring, one side of the garage door they didn’t use the wiring that was already in the wall so we have this long miscellaneous wire coming down the wall. In addition we had no idea they were adding unfinished boards to attach the rail. On the other-hand we have wiring that was done correctly. We have spoken to a manager and they are coming out to evaluate and fix the issue. I will be happy to provide anything positive that comes from that follow up call. I don’t like writing bad reviews. However, in this case the quality of work and cost are not in-line with expectations.

Precision installed the garage door on my rental property in 2014 and when I called to have them come out and look at a small problem in 2021 they were just as professional and courteous as they had been originally.
