Is it just me, or is this the ONLY Harris Teeter with a horrible produce section???. Even when things are in season, theyre bad quality .... but its only this location and I dont know why. Everything else about this store - good service, cleanliness, prices are great. I just want fresh strawberries May-July, garlic bulbs that arent moldy & potatoes & bell peppers that dont have internal issues once you cut them open.

This is a very good grocery store. But it needs to have its security guard because its close to an area of the beach where homeless people wander around.

I was craving a specific cupcake and the bakery staff was so friendly and helpful and suggested a similar cupcake because they didnt have the one I wanted and wow was it incredible! I was blown away by how delicious this cupcake was! Im pretty sure it was the best one Ive ever had! Try the dirt cup cookies and cream cupcakes! 🤤 😋 Thanks guys!

They dont always have everything Im looking for but their selection is pretty good. Its clean and the people are courteous and the store is well stocked.

Lovely little gem in a busy little town. Nice bakery, produce, and seafood. Gave us the store discount without us having the card. And we didnt have to ask.

It is very nice to have an actual grocery store at the beach. My husband was happy to get deli sliced lunch meat. I was surprised by the items that were out of stock, like oatmeal bars, several types of cereal and coke zero. My biggest disappointment - no actual cashiers. Only self- check out. As usual with these automated systems, there was a snag because we were purchasing produce. We had to wait several minutes for an attendant to assist us.

I live in the neighborhood and shop there often but only because it’s close. Just got the cold fried chicken, it so dry it’s inedible. This store has a lot of issues with both produce section and the deli.I returned to the store today and a very helpful female manager promptly let me replace the chicken with a fresh batch. She was fast and friendly her name started with a D but I couldnt see the rest of her name tag. Thank you D

Great store with nice employees, just giving it four stars because the self checkouts dont work very well

I hope I don’t mess up her name but shelia is the absolute best! Every time I go in there and I see her my face lights up because she makes my experience there so great. If she’s working the register I try and go to that one because groceries are a necessity but great customer service is an experience .

Harris Teeter is supposed to have NightFood Ice Cream. There was none to be found in this store, not even a slot where its supposed to be located. I really wanted that ice cream. I left with none. 😐

This seems to be a little more upscale supermarket than others. They have a huge selection of everything. Fresh salad bar, bakery, etc. The prices are a little higher than I am used to but it is Virginia Beach. The lady that waited on me even let me use the Members discount card that saved me some money.

It’s Harris Teeter….same as others. You get what you want from the stores …that’s all. In and out. It’s clean and has self checkout which is always good if you are just getting a few necessities.

Staff was very courteous and helpful; the man who was working Sunday evening around 7pm assisted me. He did NOT make me feel like I was bothering him; the same for the young lady who was monitoring the self check out registers.

I love this grocery store wide selection of food they even have their own Sushi chefs there making sushi Star Bakery is fantastic

Starbucks staff wasnt great unfortunately. Refused to make a pour over in the late afternoon. The rest of the store was very nice and clean. The customer service worker was very kind to my mom who couldnt figure out how to use the lottery machine.

We love this location. Yes, it can get crowded with vacationers during the summer months, but Ive never had an issue finding what I need there. The checkers are usually very friendly, the seafood counter is OUTSTANDING, and the store is always clean and as well stocked as you could expect given their volume.

Nowhere near as good as the original HT when they were on harbour view. Smaller store, smaller selection. Really the old farm fresh store without a refresh

Holiday weekend and the store was Clean with good loyalty card selections to purchase.

They have a great store and very friendly staff. I love the food options there. I found my new favorite drink as well

2020-December: They didnt have a hot bar but they did have ready-made wraps and subs and sushi items.

Good grocery with a nice wine and beer collection . Very close to the Virginia Beach. Advice is that if you are renting an Airbnb close by then your grocery problem is solved to feed hungry kids.

After relocating to Virginia Beach & becoming more acclimated to the area ... determining that Harris Teeter was the cleanest & healthiest grocery store in this immediate area was a no brainer.Navigating from Farm Fresh to Harris Teeter ... we realized that Harris Teeters quality & selection is unmatched & we were no longer going to sacrifice excellence to pay a few cents less ... & in many cases more ... for pedestrian produce.They provide, hands down, the largest selection of fruits, vegetables & prepared foods at very affordable prices ... including an array of exotic produce not available at their competitors.

Very clean store with fresh vegetables. Wine selection was surprisingly broad too. Parking lot was just the right size and their werent any carts randomly placed in the lot. Well kept place and Im glad I stopped by on my visit

First time visiting. Cashier gave us the discount even though we werent Rewards members due to being from out of town. Cupcakes were good from the bakery.

So I did some late Sunday night grocery shopping. Hardly anyone was in the store. My favorite place to shop when Im at the beach. I am just not a fan of having to scan my own groceries at checkout. Dont like the jobs that are lost and just dont like having to do it myself. There were several things I needed help with. I believe Im spelling his name right, Amonte was extremely helpful, and patient while helping me with the vegetables, wine, and a payment problem. Kudos to him and many thanks. What could have been unpleasant, and frustrating for me, became a nice, calm experience!

I remembered when I watched Bear in the Big Blue House on DVD on the way to this grocery store back in 2014

First time at Harris Teeter. The store was clean with an array of products. Despite that, I was less than impressed. Fried chicken was tasteless and shrimp was the worst Ive had in my life. SLOW cashiers and no sign for self checkout. Id travel out of my way to avoid this place.

Prices are high. It was clean and well-organized.

This was my first visit and it was exceptional!

There are a lot of products to choose from. The aisles are very long from what Im used to, but thats makes a lot of space for more things for me to try.

This Store was very well stocked clean and had good specials. The employees are helpful and greeted us with smiles.

Always more expensive, busier shopping experience. Self-checkout will remove 10 minutes of your lifetime...

Stood at the deli for over 30 minutes for a sub.... also was told they were out of white american... YOU ARE A DELI HOW ARE YOU OUT OF CHEESE?! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Very nice store. Are there for markets with the exact products cheaper? Yes...but theyre are additional nice things at Harris Teeter and the have good promos.

We purchased some shrimp, but could not eat them. It was obvious after opening these that they were not maintained at the right temperatures. They had slime throughout, I tried to clean them and found some that were rotten. These were acquired because the others in the same case looked terrible. I have to rate this store as 1 star.

Was fine for doing my shopping that I needed to do. Had everything I needed and I buy a lot of Organic foods. I guess the biggest thing that seemed negative was that it was not as bright and airy as other Harris Teeter stores and it seemed harder to find things. Expensive compared to other supermarkets.

This is a stop for us when we come down to the beach on vacation, and since we usually shop at Harris Teeter anyways back home, its great there is one here in this location so close to the oceanfront (doesnt hurt it is very close to our other stop, the ABC Store). As far as this specific store, it is well run and well stocked, clean, and organized. The staff has been friendly every time Ive visited.

Its very clean and organized. However the produce in my opinion is overpriced ridiculously. But thats what you get when you live at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront! LOL

Not sure if its owned by Kroger, or like a partner company, but I love that I can shop here and get my Kroger fuel points. This is my favorite grocery store when we visit the beach. Its different and open 24 hrs! ❤️

Harris teeter is over priced for my liking. They have a lot of good stuff but I prefer Wegmans. Same quality stuff for a more reasonable price

Swell higher end feel but decent priced very large and newish grocery. Wide aisles. Everyone I saw wore masks (but with a few noses visible)

Harris teeters is off and on 95% of the time customer service is wonderful like tonight it was however at night it can be a little nasty seems like people dont like working at night and Im not as cooperative its a cash when can but the products are fabulous in fact Im eating the lobsters that were on sale and clams and for $7.99 a rib steak is unbelievable what two pieces less than $13
