I noticed our brand new lawn was looking super ragged after mowing. Bought a new replacement blade and it didn’t cut much better. I found Aldridge & Chambers and took my old blade in to get it sharpened. Wasn’t sure it would help since the new blade was still shredding the blades. Was I thrilled at how sharp the blade turned out!!! It is legitimately like a knife’s edge now. The staff were super friendly and they were even able to sharpen it while I waited. $8 and about 10 minutes to an amazing cut on my lawn! Will be bringing my new blade in next so it’ll actually be sharp as well.

They helped me put together a quote for some STIHL equipment and beat the price of everybody near me.
They have had my lawnmower for a simple tune-up and maybe a small repair for 6 weeks. They keep telling me that they are putting me at the top of the pile (5x)....that would mean that they either have been working on someone elses lawnmower for 4 weeks without any success, or they are not telling the truth about moving my lawnmower up in the order. The fact that they dont even have my correct telephone number on file after Ive called numerous times, and we do the same dance every time, tells me the service section is not managed at all. They never have a good answer for the delay, except that there is a ONE MONTH delay. They did not tell me that until the third week they had it. I would have found someone else to do the work if I knew of the month delay. I will not be bringing my lawnmower, chainsaw, bicycle, jump rope, stick or anything to them again. Theyve lost my business.

This store sells high quality products, which probably isnt a secret: Stihl is pretty good. What you may not know about this store is their dedication to customer service. Their sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful but their maintenance staff are truly incredible. They recently performed maintenance on my Stihl SR200 mosquito blower. They restored it to basically new condition, even going so far as to clean the machine so thoroughly that I didnt recognize it.A misunderstanding occurred when I dropped off my blower and Im afraid that I was a little rude to them. Instead of being testy, they bent over backwards to accommodate me. A business can be judged by how they handle difficult customers and unfortunately in this case I was a difficult customer. Aldridge and Chambers truly offered me great service at an incredible price. I highly recommend this local landmark if you need to buy or have serviced any landscaping equipment.

Absolutely worthless service mechanics. Was told my saw was completely blown and not economical to repair. Got a second opinion from another source and he had it running in 10 mins. Filter was soaked and pulling in water. DO NOT TRUST THEIR MECHANICS AT ALL. ZERO STARS
My tractor would not start so I take my plug and head of to the Aldridge and chambers show it to theam at the counter the man says you need a J19Lm without looking it up ok fine pay the fee get home still no start call back says bring the tractor here pay fee for diag thanks to oriellys up and going no diag fee got the right plug because someone to the time to cross reference the right plug the company just lost a trusted customer

Professional, honest, & dependable service from the most advanced repairs to the seemingly simple maintenance. Small town atmosphere with top of the line know how. $8/ chainsaw chain (>= 20) to fully rehab, and saved $85 on a new tractor battery. Thats just a snapshot. I shall return.

Service told me it would take 2 weeks to get my weedeater serviced. I gave 3 weeks! Still no call from the service department. So, I decided to call them myself and the answer I got was it would be another week! I said, yeah I will be there in 10 minutes.
Very bad experience with them. Lied to me able the condition of my equipment and tried to sell me a new one. Not the way you should run a business. Honestly and reputation are everything especially in the mechanic world. UNSAT
These guys know their lawn machines! I think they can fix just about anything. I appreciate when they tell me straight up whats wrong and whether or not its worth fixing or needs replacing ... even if i dont buy new from them. They always present me with any old parts they replaced, so i know what was done. Even when they are swamped, its worth the wait.
Sharpened blades and cleaned both my chainsaws for 30 dollars. That was a tremendous deal.
I took my mower in for repair of the self propel. The mower always started on the first or second pull, I just wanted the self propel repaired. They told me it wouldnt start and that some coil was ruined and that needed to be fixed before they could fix the self propel. They quoted a price of between $300 to $400 for the repairs. They said the mower was not worth fixing and recommended I buy a new one. Not specifically recommending I buy one there, but that they do sell mowers. I brought my mower home and it started on the first pull. I decided to take it to another shop and they fixed the self propel for $59. I do not recommend this company.
Cant say enough good things about this shop. I highly reccomend they are the best in the biz.

They picked up my generator when they were ready to work on it. Called numerous times, kept getting told that they were working on it, would get right back to me. Went to pick it up finally, they hadnt touched a thing - 4 months later. Not recommended at all for service.
Ive been going to this place for 15 years. Ive never had a problem with them. Good staff, prices, and service. I bought a new mower yesterday; they explained options to me and gave me a 20% discount.
My only problem was the time it took month and half to get my machien fixed after that amazing work fixed it perfectly yes i woold go back guess it is worth the wait for the great work they do

They picked two Mowers (one riding one regular) & dropped off over winter months. When I started to cut for the season, the riding mower would cut out. They came back, picked it up, and corrected whatever they missed.Great job! Thanks. Definitely recommend

After a month and three trips to their shop my mower STILL does not start and they will not give me a refund. Over $200 for a tune up and repair for a starter and I cant use my mower.
It’s 1:15pm on a Sat. They close @ 1pm. I bought a new STIHL weedeater Tues or Wed & needed some quick help...... they opened the door, welcomed me, helped me & taught me how to solve the issue... they went above & beyond. Just left this company. ..First I notice no pricing on equipment.With three employees behind the counter I asked for information on products all three looked at each other with a smirk on who had to get up and walk 20 steps.When I asked on pricing and knowledge of all their equipment the young unknowing salesman had to go back on each piece of equipment saying he didnt know.I am big on knowledge of your product and CUSTOMER SERVICE.Needless to say I will not be back and word of mouth how bad of experience i had.

My name is Dwayne C. and I had my Stihl weed eater repaired here at Aldridge & Chambers. These guys not only did a great job but gave me a very fair price. I would refer anyone to these folks.
I have used Aldridge and Chambers for the last few years without much problems but this year they are really disappointed me. I dropped off my trimmer 5 weeks ago for repairs. It took them 2 weeks and 3 phone calls before they even looked at it. They told me the parts would be in 3-4 days. I have called multiple times and keep getting the part should be here in a few days. Called again and now the parts manager tells me the part is back ordered from Sthil so who knows when it will come in. Does it really take that long for a dealer to get parts? I got the part# and called around and found it. I am going to pick up my trimmer and get the part shipped to me and find someone else to put it on. Never going back to them again.
Had a problem with a spindle on a John Deere tractor deck, went to the store on Sat morning and two of the counter men bent over backwards to help me. I will continue to do business with these people. I went to the store from the Eastern Shore. I cant understand why Ive read so many negative comments on their customer service, these two employees went out of their way to help me. Thank you.
