Good folks. Been here a few different times for different things each time they did me right and treated me fair. They are ready more interested in making the customer happy than making a buck. Thats how you run a business.

Ive used Beach Lawn & Garden a couple of times over the last 10 years or so. Theyre great with repairing mowers or just getting an semi-annual tune up. BTW thats for all makes and models, not just what they sell.On this visit the mower had stopped working completely. I was told a two week wait as they were backed up and thats no problem. In fact its fairly quick for this time of year. Once I returned to pick it up they even loaded it into the vehicle for me. You cant argue with that.

Good people. Highly recommend the automower if you’re not a fan of cutting grass.

Had an extended warranty from Tractor Supply and unfortunately the only vendor I was able to use was Beach Lawn and Garden.They had our mower earlier this summer for about 2 weeks with a starter problem and had to take a few days later for the same reason.We then had another starter problem and this time they have had it for over a month with no explanation why or when we should expect it back. In the mean time we have had to spend about $300 to get our lawn done.I would not recommend Beach Lawn and Garden for anything

If you use this place, I hope you have a better experience than I did. Never have I been told so many untruths. They picked up my riding mower, said they were running 2 1/2 weeks behind. Fine. I waited 3 1/2 weeks, called to check on it they hadnt started on it yet.. waited another 2 weeks with no word so I went down there. they pulled it on the lift and pointed out all the things that were wrong so I told them to order the parts and do the work. I waited another 1 1/2 weeks with no world so I called them back and was told they had a big job to get out and couldnt get to my mower but they had order the parts and would be a few days to receive them. Waited another 1 1/2 weeks with no word from them so I called the again. This was on a Wed. The parts are in I was told and they would start on it the very next morning (Thurs). Ask them if they could deliver it Thurs afternoon & they told me they werent sure. Waited another 1 1/2 weeks with no word so I went down there yet again. They hadnt even started on it. It was sitting outside in the back not touched. Then came more lies. The guys in the back used the counter girl to relay lies back and forth to me about why it wasnt finished but I told them to forget it and to return my mower. She came back with a message she said was from her boss offering me a 10% discount with a promise to repair and deliver it to me that afternoon. This was about 11:30 am. Now, you tell me, could they repair my deck leveler. replace a bent bracket that holds the deck up. replace the front leveling bar & springs, replace a carburetor, install a new pulley/bearing that engages the cutting blades, sharpen the blades, change my oil and battery, replace air filter, oil filter, give it a tune up then deliver it to me that afternoon? Just another lie so I told them to return my mower and forget it. Bottom line; they picked up my riding mower, kept it 2 months, returned it to me un-repaired and charged me $85.00.No, I enjoyed as much of that place as I can stand, I wont be back.Just beware, the truth is not in them.

Paid $150 for annual maintenance, including blade sharpening, on riding mower that I purchased from them. Got my mower back, blades dull as can be. I jacked up my mower, took the blades off, brought them into the owner who admitted they were not sharpened. He refused to give a refund, and only offered new blades for $20 or a 10% discount on a future purchase. Im done with this place. Same thing happened last year, but I didnt have the time to bring the blades in to show him.

Took my generator in for emergency repair due to up coming hurricane. After a little history on problem they determined it was component failure, ordered part over night, generator repaired in two days. They are a can do company.

I do not recomend Beach Lawn & Garden for any kind of customer service/sales. I have purchased a few thousand dollars worth of equipment from them. Each time I go in for parts/accessories and service, the visit seems rushed. Like they dont have time to deal with you. This past visit, I brought a zero turn mower in for an estimate for repair. I paid a $55 deposit/fee for the estimate. I decided not to have the work done because the cost was greater than 50% of its current value. When I got the mower back, it was not in the condition that I left it. Things were unplugged, not reinstalled correctly and broken. When questioned, I was told it was like that when they recieved it. Now, the mower is worth less than before I dropped it off. In the future, I will take my business elsewhere.

Worst Appliance Service “I” have ever experienced. Took two different lawn mowers in for Clean-up – tune up service, different times over two week span. Was quoted $35.00 for first mower – I am not a bad Mechanic just really didn’t have the time. The first (Craftsman with Briggs & Stratton engine) was in what I thought was in the worst condition of the two. Was told it needed all kinds of parts (list provided if you ask) was not worth fixing but they could take it as a trade in. I have several lawn mowers don’t need a new. So I went and picked it up & dropped off the second. Over the next couple of days I went home at lunch and worked on the craftsman – I had it up and running fine in less than an hour – No new parts – there was only one part required which was the flywheel key and I must admit Beach did replace that 25 cent part and charged me $35.00.Dropped off the second (a Honda Self-propelled) for a tune up. It was running when I dropped it off and the self-drive was working fine the last time I used the mower (a few weeks ago). Beach again called me stating they could not get the mower to run and that the drive on the self-propel was not working. After a week or so they called again and had a list of parts which they say were needed to get the mower up and running – This was after I had the first mower up and running and had spent “NOTHING” for parts – just went thru and cleaned and adjusted spark plug, carburetor & governor and it ran fine maybe an hour labor.After getting the another list of parts that I supposedly needed to get the mower up and running I told them to forget it – I would come and get it – this is after I have paid them $70.00 to check out the two mowers.I them proceeded to go get the second mower (and I started it in their parking lot before I left) (After they said they could not even get it to run) brought it home and basically did the same thing to it - cleaned and adjusted spark plug, carburetor & governor and it runs like a new one and again I spent ZERO (0) on parts it just cost me my time maybe another hour.In their defense they are a business and have an excuse for everything, but they are a service business. They provide a service to the public and as such their first priority should be to provide the best service possible to the public at a reasonable price. And it is my opinion that their first priority is to lining their pocket book at the expense of the client (myself and other residences that put our trust in them).SO, NO never will I utilize their Services ever again.
