I wish I could but everything in the store, but unfortunately I have a budget lol.Had a hard time finding things actually in season (Halloween, Homecoming) but there was plenty of stuff for months from now. Maybe keep things in stock and do clearance on/after the actual holiday?

Went in for an out of season product. They still had a limited variety so I picked up a few things. Wouldve bought more but the by the yard ribbon had 20 people sharing one yardstick and one scissor.

They were having a huge sale.. 70% off almost everything! I got a few things to put up for Christmas gifts 😁

This seemed to be an older store. Things seemed to be grouped quite well & I found it easy to find items pretty quickly. The store was cleas overall & staff was quite friendly (although somewhat slow at times). Great sale items & well worth the trip.

Love the supplies when in a hurry. The store just feels old and creepy or I might shop here a little more. Not sure if its the lights arent the best especially towards the back of the store or if its just a old creepy building. If I need something in the back of the store... The lights are dimmer I try to hurry just grab what I know I need, I dont look to see what else they have. If its towards the front Ill end up buying more than I came for. Lol

Definitely be patient with the 1 person stuck working register. When I visited on a BUSY Sunday a couple of weeks ago, there was 1 person answering phones, checking people out, AND fetching pickup orders. And then a price check was needed and some guy appeared for 2 seconds with needed info and disappeared... who knows how many different things he was up to his eyeballs in. This store seems to swing from overstaffed a bit during the week to not enough on Sunday and that is one of their peak days from a customer observation. And there never seems to be anyone on the floor to help with anything, so hopefully, what you want isnt locked up.

Umm, yeah I love Michaels!

Well, its so nice to have a Michaels in Waco, but... they were understaffed, and the poor girl who was at the register was the only person. She was also manning the phones! She did a good job, but there was no help on the floor for customers who were looking for things. It was also very sparsely stocked, which was disappointing, but maybe its a transitional season. Worth another try. Hoping to report better review at my next visit.

Michaels has an amazing variety of crafts, frames, jewelry, seasonal decorations and much much more. Every time I walk in I lose myself in there, I could spend hours and not even notice. I absolutely love this store. It can get a bit pricey but they also offer amazing deals. Over all I think its a pretty balanced place.

The day I went to Michaels their a/c was not working at all, the store was not only hot, but also dustyIt looks & feels as if the store was closing. It was a HOT day in Texas, but It was cooler outside then in the store.

Went to the Valley Mills store for first time today for fall decor supplies in floral. One roll of ribbon was $10. I couldn’t find floral tape (it was not in floral), So I mentioned it at checkout. I’m not sure if these poor workers were rude or just overworked. Turns out the tape was in aisle 99; the last aisle of the store. They had 2 associates at the registers and one in framing - for the entire store. The line for checkout was 8 people deep and growing quickly (and not social distancing on the marked spots). To get the tape, I would had to have paid, gone to the back of the store, and gotten back in the line to pay again. As it was I bought a $5 pumpkin (small) and the ribbon and a pair of jewelry pliers ($10) and with the 20% off coupon, my bill was over $25! If I hadn’t needed the pliers to repair my earrings I would have left them off. I mentioned I could pick up the floral tape at hobby lobby and I was met with indifference. To say this store is under-staffed is an understatement. And their employees are definitely not happy people.

Ive loved this place forever. I love it more when I learned I could make my selections late at night while I was thinking of it and pick them up curbside. Ive had a great deal of trouble on this project getting tarn in the weight and colors that I like.I got two orders because after I ordered and paid for the yarn, I realized I could get the buttons, thread, needles and other items to finish the project!

I recently got into painting, amd Michaels seems to have very competitive prices on oil paints and brushes. They also have a lot of other stuff, seasonal decorations and fondant. A bit more down to earth that hobby lobby.

I dont really like the experience at all I asked for help, And Ill be waiting for a long time for help they never came.

The store is so well stocked and organized. I would just say that they usually seem understaffed (which is no fault of the employees Im sure). As such, the service isnt always great. The store isnt super clean either. Still, Id definitely recommend it for the prices and great selection.

Bravo to Michael’s for maintaining safe masking in public. This is a pandemic! Everyone with a brain and love (or at least respect) for our community knows not to spread viruses and ignorance with only a few easy steps. The rest of you need to stay home.

They have a variety of items for crafting, decor, jewelry making, painting, etc. I find that I buy items only when theyre on sale.

I love this Michaels. My daughter and I can look around for hours. Constance one of their staff is the sweetest, kindest, woman. She takes care of the customers with a smile and great knowledge of the store. I love it when shes in charge of the Make it crafts. She is just great and also really great with the children. We drive 100 miles round trip to go to this Michaels.

Went to the Waco Michaels store today and the girl met us at the front door and said we were required to wear a mask to come in the store. She also said that if we didnt have one we could buy one from them. Sounds like a scam to sell masks. We should know thank you we will go to hobby lobby and she proceeded to tell us that they had the same policy in place. We got there and not only did they not have that policy in place half of the people working there had their mask down off their nose or completely off their face. So not only are they trying to make money off the covid they are also lying to you about other stores

My 1st stop when shopping for crafts things.

Ordered online for curbside. When checking my order found the wrong item, and they were quick to fix the mistake. However, when I received the correct item I noticed that it wasn’t the color I was looking for, so I called the store (while still in the parking lot) and asked to do an exchange and the girl who answered the phone refused to exchange the items saying that it was because the item numbers were different. She went on to tell me that I would “have to place a separate order online and it would take a while to fulfill because of the amount of orders they had”.Very disappointed with the service. I have taken and exchanged items in store many times without problem. It had been a minute or less that I called after receiving the item.

They are closed when they are supposed to be open. When I tried to call and press #3 to talk to someone, it would hang up. My UPS guy delivered my package there cause I wasnt home. Theres no sign saying why they are closed just they are closed.

Store is well organized and has great selection of product. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had purchased some frames to hold some small canvas paintings, but it wouldnt fit. They gave me some options and helped solve my dilemma. I will be back!

No matter when I go here theres always a line and one 1 or 2 cashiers. Today, the line went to the other side of the store. I put back what I was going to purchase and left.

Good size, not bad prices. Most was on sale 40% to 50% off.

Staff wasnt very helpful. And thats only if you could actually find an employee there. It seemed there was maybe one employee working the floor and two cashiers. When we found an employee and asked where to find a gift bag... He looked about as lost and confused as we were.

This is the biggest Michaels Ive ever been too. The employees do their best to make my shopping experience worth it. Very helpful in finding hard to find items. Great customer service.

I bought some stones to macrame but there wasnt much to choose from as far as stones but overall happy.

Went to get foam for fly tying. What would cost me $39.90 at a fly shop, cost me $12.93, and I got 10 times as much!

I recently purchased some starter supplies for my daughter who is interested in acrylic painting. There was a young lady who came over and asked if I needed any help and she proceeded to tell me about the difference between acrylic paint and oil paint. Later, as we were going to the check out, she approached me and told me about a sale they had on canvases. I really appreciate it when a salesperson is ready to go above and beyond to help the customer. We normally shop at the other store down the road, and we have never had the same service as we did that day. Naturally, we bought several items we might have missed or not known about if it hadnt been for her help. As we kept talking about other options, she noticed that we didnt have any starter brush cleaning kits and we went back to the paint section to get a couple of those as well. All in all, we spent more than I had intended, but it saved us time and money because we didnt have to make 3 trips to different stores to purchase all we needed. My daughter and I had a blast painting and we will definitely buy all of our supplies from Michaels in Waco! Customer service is hard to find these days, but the fine staff at Michaels in Waco have a great thing going! Thank you for taking the time to help us out!
