This is ...and will be the only dealership I purchase any of my vehicles. They make it happen. And their collision center is the best! I will not use anyone else to take care of any of the body work of any of my vehicles...except them. I have taken two vehicles to them...they left them like new!! It was like I never had an accident. And the service center is is awesome..above and beyond in every department!!
Scheduled oil change was easy and good. They even removed the months of antibacterial use from my steering wheel. So excited that it looks and feels like new!! The service department staff is always friendly and helpful. Thanks!!

With the crazy times that our world is in, finding a new car is almost impossible! We searched and searched and finally found a dealership that would help us and actually call us back! One star is overrated for this dealership!!!I will NEVER buy from this dealership ever again!!I purchased my Cadillac Escalade there and I also purchased the extended warranty. The service department has the WORST customer service ever! They take ALL day just to do an oil change. They will try to sell you things you don’t need and not correctly repair the things that you do need! I have had several things go wrong with my vehicle since I purchased it! They were never repaired and what they did repair, it wasn’t done correctly! I have had my car in their service department being “repaired” more times than I can count!! I live out of town and they “never” have any loaners available, even the times that they had to keep my vehicle overnight! Several times I had to have someone follow me all the way there just so I wouldn’t be stuck without a vehicle. Just recently I had my vehicle being repaired in their service dept, and I ended up having to have a wrecker go pick it up from them and tow it to a different Cadillac dealership!! You would think buying an expensive vehicle from them, that they would take good care of their customers, but that’s a joke!!!I now drive even further to take all of my business elsewhere, and it’s definitely worth the drive!!I wouldn’t ever recommend this dealership for sales or service!!
Just needed a vehicle inspection for new plates. Met with your friendly service staff, they took care of the inspection in no time at all. Walked over to the Collision shop to get an appointment to look at some damage on my car, and they did it while I was on site. No need for a second visit. I love Karr Hunter!
My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Richard Karr Motors. We originally went to look at a Cadillac, but we decided we liked the Acadia Denali better. They made the experience very simple and quick and gave us a great deal on our trade. I also like that they did not pressure us - they let us think about our purchase for a few days. They were very responsive to our questions. We will definitely return to Richard Karr in the future.
A 5+ hour wait for oil change, fuel filter, mount and balance 4 tires with alignment is absolutely unacceptable. And then to come back the next day for another hour so they can do the alignment when the alignment guy is in? Nope.

I was looking for the right truck for a long time, after looking for several months, I gave up and went to my local dealership to order my truck just the way I wanted it. I ordered it, a couple months later was comminucated that due to chip shortage I would not get the truck the way I ordered it, couple weeks went by and got another call stating that I would get my truck built just the way I ordered it after all. Truck comes in and does not have the technology features I ordered, asked about it and was told it was due to the chip shortage. Very disappointing! I kept the truck because I had been looking/waiting for so long that I was tired of waiting!
So rude on the phone when I called to ask a question, acted like I was wasting their time. Talked down to me like I was dumb and did not know what I was talking about. Basically had to force them to take my name and number to make an appointment for them to diagnose my car and then said the warranty I had might not cover the diagnostic fee. What a rip off... would not recommend this place to my worse enemy, so sad how businesses are so rude when it comes to customer service and can afford to loose business. Not happy with this place at all, would give it zero stars if it was possible.

I left my truck over night to get parts installed. They called the next day saying it would be a couple more days until the parts were in so I could pick my truck up if I wanted to. When I picked my truck up Saturday evening the inside was covered with dust from someone mowing and the windows left down. I called Monday and was told the part was in and I told them about how dirty the inside of my truck was when I picked it up on Monday and I wanted it cleaned. They said they would. They had my truck all day Monday and only the outside of the truck was washed. Inside was still covered in dust. Im extremely frustrated.
Worked with Thomas who I initially began conversations with via email from viewing vehicles online. He got back to me promptly with good answers and was very helpful when I came in for my physical test drive and in person questions. Enjoyed my experience and was surprised how quickly I was able to go through the whole process and begin enjoying my new truck!

Service department is a nightmare. In the past 10 years I have not had one single good experience here. Between the Pontiac I used to own and the Cadillac my wife has now every time I have dealt with the service department at Richard Karr I have never had good customer service. I was told today that if I didn’t have an appointment for an oil change I would have to make one and come back tomorrow. When I asked why is it that I can go to the Ford dealership with my truck with no appointment and have it serviced in less than an hour, he told me it’s because they have a “quick lane” set up. So my question is why does the sign on the outside of the service center here say “express lube center” because there is obviously nothing express about it.Only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give 0 stars

I did not have service done. I arrived with a tire that had a screw in it causing a slow leak. I did not have an appointment but I have always had good service in the past and since I bought the tires there I chose to have the work done there. I was told it would be a 3 to 5 hour wait before tyhey could get to it. I decided to take my vehicle else where and they were able to do the tire repair in 45 minutes and no charge.
These folks will take care of you, whatever the need. Honest and true!
We took my wifes car in without an appointment for what we thought might be a serious problem. Leonard Betts got us checked in and promised to get it diagnosed that day. By 4:00 that afternoon, he had called and said the car was fixed, it was minor, and it could be picked up. I went to pick it up and Leonard explained the issue. He went to get the car, and when he brought it out, he had taken the time to run it thru the car wash because my wife had brought it in filthy! I didnt ask him to do that, he just wanted to provide great customer service, I guess. Really happy with the way things always go here. I will be back soon to put some new tires on the car.

Never do business at this dealership I was dealing with a lady named Kylie very unprofessional And very rude yes I was talking with her yesterday and she said she was going to talk to the sales manager real quick that she would get right back with me well 3+ hours later I texted asking a question no response so about an hour later I text her again and she sent me a very very rude text complaining about how she had been with one customer for over three hours and that she would look at my paperwork whenever she canUpdate I spoke with the manager she told me she would call me back either that day or in a day or so. The worst service department I have ever been in. I was shock at how rude the service manager was, Customer Service does not exist in the Service department. They are not above cheating clients to make a buck. Very disappointed. After a few bad experiences I was offered a loaner, then they claim I damaged the loaner which is not true. I have great respect and I take the upmost care with automobiles whether its mine, a rental or a loaner. Whatever you do, if they offer you a loaner, RUN!!!
I am writing this review solely based on my experience with the collision center. The work is half a** and the customer service is trash! I hope this review will save someone else from the headache and nightmare that I had to go through with this body shop. Think twice before choosing this body shop for your repairs. I had paint overspray all down the passenger side of my vehicle and chose this body shop to do my repairs. I went in to get an estimate on 3/20/2017. Howard Schnorrbusch wrote up my estimate and asked that I bring my vehicle in for repairs on Monday 3/27/2017. On Thursday 3/23 I received a text message from Howard stating that they were sending my vehicle to Jesse Britts for the knee assy and alignment. I responded back on Sunday 3/26 with “Who’s this”. Howard wrote back “The car is back and we will start doing the fender replacement Monday now that it’s drivable”. I responded with this is Danny and my car will not be in the shop until Monday 3/27, and that he had the wrong customer. He responded with “OK”. I dropped my vehicle off on 3/28 to have the repairs done. He called me back on 3/29 stating that my car was ready for pick up. I wish I had not gone that day. When I got there, he said the clerk has your keys and your vehicle is ready. I said can we go out to inspect the vehicle. During the inspection, I found that my car had chips in the paint, all down the passenger side, and bumper where the paint had been removed. There was also still paint on the vehicle (fog light, & door handle). I told him that I was not happy with the work and was not taking my vehicle home that day. I asked that he get back with my insurance, send a supplement if needed, and have the repairs done right. He argued with me that the chips in the paint were from rock chips that were already on my vehicle. I told him that I had pictures of my vehicle before the repairs were done and there were not tons of rock chips on my vehicle. He argued with me until I was upset & frustrated, then told me that they would touch up the chips with paint and buff the vehicle, I left the office. I got a call on 3/31 stating once again that my vehicle was ready for pickup. This time it looked as if someone had buffed the vehicle that had no clue what they were doing, looked like they tried to cover the paint chips with paint that was darker than the rest of the vehicle, there was also paint still on the fog light, and chips on the bumper and door. Several of the paint spots were not removed and were covered up with touchup paint. Once again Howard and I argued for almost 35 mins. He argued with me until we were blue in the face stating that these chips were rock chips that were already on my vehicle. We argued to the point where I could no longer look him in the face and finally told him that I felt they were giving me a half a** job to get me in and out. I gave them several chances to make things right, I could not understand why a body shop that I chose would be so argumentative, rude, and not caring about me or my vehicle. Didn’t know why they wouldn’t get back with my insurance to make things right without arguing with me. Think twice before choosing this body shop for your repairs. I ended up having to get with Dennis Davila the shop manager. He was understanding and allot nicer, but still didn’t make sure things were done right. When I walked into the collision center I was not greeted as a welcomed customer nor would they acknowledge that I was there. Never again would I choose this body shop to have repairs done. Too much of a hassle and when you are already stressed from dealing with having your car in the shop and being in a rental the extra stress is not worth it. I feel things could have been handled a lot differently, but they weren’t. My vehicle is still not 100% and I would give this body shop 0 stars. I am hoping this review will save someone the hassle and headache. Attached are some of the photos of my vehicle when I arrived at the body shop after the paint had been removed and Howard stated that my vehicle was ready for pickup.

I’ve had the power steering checked here at Carr’s. I had the front end checked and adjusted here at Carr’s. I went and had all tires balanced. Still have steering vibration. I still think power steering is not correct.

Called to see if they were busy and was told appointments were faster and priority. 2 days later was as soon as they had a scheduled appointment. Last summer I did a walk in and got my oil changed / tires rotated under 40 minutes....this appointment i waited 2 and a half hrs
I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do not buy a car from here, the service center is the WORST and they just try to take every penny even when you just bought a 50k car from them. Money hungry dealership

I went to the dealership to look at an Acadia I saw advertised online. I had been considering trading my car, but hadnt decided for sure. To be quite honest, I was dreading being approached by a sales associate due to prior experiences. I saw two associates exit the front doors and one asked if I had been helped. I took a deep breath and said I hadnt. I told her what I was doing here and Jennifer immediately took me to the cars I wanted to look at. She was very laid back, seemed totally honest with all my questions, and guided me to the best deal for me. I test drove the car and immediately decided I wanted to see what kind of deal they would make. (I had previously scheduled an appointment for the following morning with another dealership closer to home for the following day.) Jennifer told me they had several deals going at this time. I told her I wasnt sure if my current CUV would appraise for what I would need it to. She asked if I would like them to look at it. I did. While they were appraising my car, I asked if I could go ahead and apply for the loan. Again Jennifer stepped up and made this process painless. Everything worked out exactly as I hoped it would. I decided to come back the next morning to make sure all the paperwork and numbers remained the same before I cancelled with the other dealership. When I arrived the next day the car was prepared, the financing was exactly like we discussed and I signed on my new Acadia. I text the other dealership and told them I wouldnt be coming for the appointment.I would highly recommend Richard Karr GMC to family and friends. The highest integrity and professionalism were observed from the sales associate, to the GM, and the financing manager.

Bought 2019 gmc from them Dec 2019. Great service with salesman and service dept so far. Only complaint I have is remote app on cell only worked for 30 days. When bought new Chevy it was good for 5 years.

Its not so much the dealership as it is the 2020 GMC Terrain my wife and I recently bought a year ago. Not at all happy about the car, cant wait until we are able to trade it in for something else.
Was told they couldn’t do a tire rotation because of Lugnuts however I went to get second opinion and without problem they rotated tires. I also was told one price for filter change and was charged a different price. This isn’t the first bad experience but will be the last.

I flew from California to meet my wife to drive a new truck back home (my retirement present). We called on your 2021 GMC 1500 TEXAS Edition that showed was in-transit. Your sales person went out of his way to find this recently delivered vehicle and was able to offer it at similar pricing to what we had already lined up to purchase in San Antonio. Your staff held this vehicle for us without a deposit (which the other dealer wanted/non refundable) while we drove from San Antonio. We arrived expecting high pressure sales pitches and unwanted add-ons. WE GOT NONE OF IT!!! Your team was awesome and we received nothing but excellent service. Your Finance Person/Closer went above and beyond to work with our Credit Union that turned out to be problematic even though we were pre-approved.Your GMC had every option that we were looking for and we could not be more happy with it. The truck has been in their service department at least 10 times since October for the SAME issue. they turn the light off and say its fixed and then same issue, all this while under warranty. Call Mike Lee in the service department who tells us to take it somewhere else. truck goes some where else and they are able to quickly find the issue. speak to Mr. Goff because why should we pay for something that they could have fixed months ago because its been the same issue continuously? jump through hoops last week and today, no one is willing to pay for the problem that their mechanics could have fixed MONTHS ago. no more GMC products and def do NOT recommend this dealership or service department

This was the finest example of excellent customer service. I had a tire issues driving home from Arlington and had to have my car towed on a Saturday evening to the dealership. We I phoned the dealership early Monday morning, the service department was already on it. Through no fault of the dealership, the tire delivery was delayed. I ended up spending most of my afternoon there. Everyone was so pleasant, kind, and kept me informed of any little detail. I was able to return home that day. If I decide to buy one of the automobile brands that they carry, I will drive from Austin to Waco to purchase from them. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE ! Hats off to JOHN and MIKE !!

The car-buying experience when purchasing my XT5 went well. Easy and fast. The service department is another story. I figured the first of 2 times I went for an oil change, the guy was just having a bad day—even my friend who was with me said, “I can’t believe he treated you like that”. The second bad experience was when I scheduled my oil change 3 days ahead of time and I get a call an hour-and-a-half before my appointment to let me know I couldn’t be serviced at the time requested and the MyCadillac app doesn’t tell them which service is requested. That was pretty inconvenient since I was already driving into Waco from out of town. I will never step foot in that building again.
