Great shop had all my tires, oil, filter in stock. Called the night before and made an appointment over the phone very Easy process. When I arrived they took my car back and changed 4 tires, oil and filter change and a alignment all in under a hour. Highly recommend NTB waco. Will be back for all my tires and oil changes.
Excellent service. I was told that I had about an hour wait. 15 minutes later, the tech told me he had a gap while waiting on parts for another car. He jumped on mine and had me out quickly. You rarely see that. The technicians name was Jesus. Thank you.
Good tires and value. Poor install on lugs... after changing the tire due to a flat it was discovered that the tech reinstalled the incorrect lug size on the vehicle. Watch everything from this shop.... the tech saw it and still proceeded. Wheel could have easily come off the vehicle has the lug loosened and failed. At your own risk.
Great experience. Told me the problem with my tire but didnt have my size. Neither did 3 other shops in town. I recommend them.
NTB is my go to for all my vehicle tire needs. They are fast and always have had what I needed same day service. Definitely I happy and satisfied customer for several years. Some folks say that they are pricey I say you get what you pay for.
Took my car here to get a power steering fluid leak fixed and the $326.00 repair lasted 3 weeks. Took my car back as I began having the leak again and now I was told there is another part that needs to be replaced to fix the leak which will cost me $725.00. This should have been fixed right the first time. Not going back!

Friendly staff who were helpful and courteous. Had a tire damaged which ruined it, so I called them and my tire size was in stock. Service was quick and shortly after I was on my way! Thank you NTB! This was around May 2020.
Had an appointment today at 1300... when they found out it was for a diagnostic for carvana through a silver rock warranty and that WE werent going to be paying them anything (so they couldnt overcharge us like they did the one other time we used their services about 6 years ago), suddenly they were just SOOO backed up today with all the other cars they have here, and told us to go to pepboys or another auto shop. Total bs. So irritated and will never go back here again. Only reason we went was because it was 1 of 2 places listed in waco that took the warranty.
I scheduled an online appointment to have a new set of tires installed on my Altima. They did so within the alloted time and were extremely courteous and attentive. Mr. Brian Hoskins was the service manager that handled my purchase and was excellent. Service was EXCELLENT. Recommend them for their prices and quality of service.

I recently had my first experience with NTB Waco. I took my car in for a flat fix. In the midst of the fix, a random and unexpected issue popped up that couldnt have been avoided. While it was frustrating to be out of a vehicle for longer than anticipated, the techs did everything they could to get it fixed as quickly as possible. They kept me updated the whole way through, and Jacob in particular was very kind. Glad that they were able to get it fixed.
I started taking my vehicles to NTB when I first moved here 5 years ago. The staff had always been professional and very helpful, I just knew I was being taken care of. My truck has a large engine, andcalways burns about a quart of oil in between oil changes, and when I asked to purchase and additional quart after my 1st oil change, they told me to just bring it in, they would be happy to top it off. I went in today, as I have numerous times to have that done, and the two guys at the counter seemed annoyed that I was even there. When I told them why I was there, one of the men told me that since he started managing the store they dont do that anymore! Well, guess what? Youre good customer service just went south since you started managing the store and there are a lot of people that are not returning, Ill personally see to that!

What an amazing experience. I called in just looking for an alignment originally, but found out theyre having a buy 2 get 2 tires free sale through the end of November. I made an appointment brought the truck in, and I got a heck of a deal on some really good Cooper Tires, roadside assistance, a one-year alignment, the whole shooting match. Out the door with tax and everything for $561.60. Normally it would have been close to $900. I cross reference prices at other popular tire shops around Waco and Temple area, and National Tire and Battery had them beat. The staff was very courteous and I was surprised and how quickly they flew through my tire replacement alignment. They even came and let me know about some leaking wheel seals, axle seals, and differentials, and quoted me a fair price to do the work. I dont have the money right now to do it, but when Im ready and have the funds, Im going to see them about all of it. Overall they do a very thorough job, and they didnt stop until it was perfect. Everyone from the manager to the techs was super to deal with. Would recommend to everyone that they check National Tire and Battery first and then compare prices and products. God Bless America

My husband took my car in for a oil change.Now he drove up there for the oil change.He left there and went no more then 2 miles down the road he called and my car would not start.A guy came and fixed the car from ntb.The plugs were unplugged to keep the car from starting and continue running NEVER again will I take my car there. ..Not Trust worthy.

My wife and I just moved to Waco a month ago and last week I took my wifes car in for an oil change. They asked if I wanted a complimentary tire rotation, which I agreed to. They took the car in and after looking at it told me that one of the front disc brake calipers had froze up and that at least one of the motor mounts needed to be replaced. I told them Id take care of it later and they went ahead and did the oil change and tire rotation.I replaced the front pads and rotors myself at home (the engine mounts were fine). A few days later, my wife told me there was a strange noise when she was driving. I drove it and heard a cyclic rumbling coming from the back of the car. I brought it home and went to remove the rear tires so I could take a look and the first thing I found was that one of the lug nuts was missing...I then found that ALL of the lug nuts on BOTH rear wheels were loose!!! I purchased a new lug nut, put it on, tightened all of the other lug nuts and then test drove the car. Everything is now fine - the one lug nut set me back a whopping $2.70I will obviously NOT be going back to a store that isnt competent enough to properly put tires back on a car and now, Im starting to wonder - were the lug nuts intentionally left loose, in hopes that Id return because of new sounds I would soon be hearing? If so, I seriously doubt they would have said anything about the the loose lug nuts they would have found, but would very likely have found new (expensive) problems that they would tell me they absolutely needed to fix... Fortunately, I have enough experience with cars that I can tell when something isnt right, but how many people end up spending money for things theyve been told they needed - but didnt?
I went for an oil change/tire rotation bcz of coupon on HEB receipt & to have a tire repaired. I had a 1PM appt and it was 3:30 before they were done! In addition, they fixed the wrong tire! I will not go back.
Corey was prompt, down to earth and professional. The price for 4 tires and alignment were on par with everyone else except they had a buy 3 get one free that noone else had. Saved me $160+One tire pressure was about 8 lbs lower than it shouldve been, but I added the additional pressure to even out the load and all is fine. Ill be going back in the future. Thanks to Corey for making my 2015 Silverado road safe for my summer trips, respect.
All of the staff are very nice. They always look up all the information on my car and make sure that all of the right tires, batteries, and oil weight and quantity is exactly right. All of the mechanics do an excellent job. Michelle (Shelly) the manager is very nice! She has been there a long time and she always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done right! She answers all of my questions and always makes me feel like a valued long time customer!

I will never go back to this place. I took my car here for my first oil change in Waco because I had a coupon. After sitting in the lobby for about 30 minutes with a crowd of people coming in after me, we all sat in silence because there was no one at the desk. We would knock on the door to the garage and staff would wave us off. I should have left then. Finally, about an hour after waiting we got my car in and they told us to sit in the waiting area and they would come get us when it was done. Well, its a good thing they had a TV and something to drink because we waited FIVE HOURS in that waiting room before someone finally came in to use the bathroom and asked, Oh youre still here? And told us the car was done. I checked back after two hours, wasnt ready. After the third hour I went to the lobby and again, no one was there and a crowd had formed again. I told them they should just leave because the service wasnt worth it. I got no apology for the wait times, no apology for them forgetting about me, they tried to charge me more than what they rang me up for initially, and just acted like I was a burden for even being there. Very unprofessional; theres just no excuse for what I experienced that day.

The wait time we were quoted was not very accurate and we ended up staying much longer than we had the time to do so. sometimes a place such as this will become very busy at a moments notice so I cant necessarily blame the place entirely. The clerk we spoke with did giveseveral price options, but the wait time for installation could use a little work.
Had an appointment at 2:30, they got us in a few minutes early! Thought that’s great we’ll get out quicker. All they had to do was change oil and rotate tires. 2 Hours later! It was finished
They stayed 45 minutes late to make sure I had the tires I needed mounted and balanced so I could hit the road safely. They went above and beyond.

My son set the appointment up and specified tires but they called and said they were having issues with the tires we had asked about, getting them balanced and all so said they had called corporate office to get the ok to replace them with a better tire and when they said the brand I said that is great, what my dad would have wanted out in, not that my son doesnt know his tires but felt like dad was still watching out for me. All people were very friendly and tires were done and ready to go in a timely manner . I would definitely go back.
GREAT SERVICE!! Had a flat driving from college Station to Dallas. Was 40 miles south of Waco. It was almost closing time. Started making calls to tire stores. Just got either sorry we will be closed or we will be open but we are booked up. Called NTB and manager, Shellie Falbe, said Dont worry. We will stay open for you. They were so friendly and sweet. Ray fixed the flat and had us on our way in less than 30 minutes! Great people!
After bad experiences with different auto shops I always take my car to the NTB in Mansfield for servicing (my Uncle is the manager). I came to the Waco store for tire problem and was very pleased with the services I received! Shelly was honest, knowledgeable, and friendly! She has a great crew and thanks to them I will no longer have to travel to get car repairs!!
We went to get 4 new tires on a truck and unfortunately forgot to bring sleeping bags with us. It took so long that my 2 year old celebrated a birthday while we were there. The icing on the cake was after waiting an eternity for tires and finally getting to leave a block away from the store the low tire pressure light came on.....apparently the rocket scientists that work there forgot to fill the tires with air. When we returned the group of rocket scientists stood around discussing the situation so my husband finally took it upon himself to fill the tires......

Driving on a donut from Dallas after a punctured tire. Needed a new tire. Core kept the place open for 30 more minutes so I could get situated. Great service!
👎👎👎I could hear a slight sound when using my brakes so i took it to National Tire and Battery (NTB) Waco. They came back with a $1424 estimate stating all pads, rotors, and one caliper froze (I felt NO drag or handling issue when operating the vehicle). We then asked and Indiana NTB to quote the same - they came back with a quote $530 less than Waco. Long story short, we took it to another nation chain, didnt tell them what NTB Waco said and they came back with $205 out the door! We then asked about all that NTB Waco had quoted and said you have a lot of life left in the front pads, rotors only need resurfacing, and the caliper is NOT frozen. NTB Waco attempted to take me for a ride and Mike at corporate proved to be a POOR FACE TO THE CUSTOMER! 🤑 🤬
Only had a battery replaced along with an air filter. I reserved a time slot online so I was seen promptly. Spent my time waiting online using the supplied wifi service, so the time passed quickly.

Buy my tires and battery there and have for at least 15-25 years.Current manager (female) very nice. informed of her product and inventory and has treated me, the customer...a 74 y/o female, with respect.Goes above and beyond..ex. During the first COLD spell when tire pressure decreased, I went in to have more air in tires. I barely got the problem verbalized, when she finished my sentence for me and arranged to have them re-filled, PLUS, she never harangued me as to did you get the tires here?, spend time looking up my name or type of purchase, etc. I could have been anybody off the street. She saw a need and helped.BTW, this occurred around 8pm.
I was driving home to Dallas from Cameron, TX and I get a flat in Rosebud. I called 4 tire/car places between Cameron and Waco (2 Walmarts, Pep Boys and Sears) and even though they were open, they were booked up and wouldnt help me. I called NTB Waco, and Shelly said that theyd stay here and wait for me even though I wouldnt get here until 8:00, which is when they close. She and Ray are staying late to patch my tire as I type. Im very grateful for these people. Customer service isnt dead after all.
The attendant ignored me. I thought she was just busy. When I finally got her attention she thought I was with man she had already helped. Then there wasnt an inspector there to do an inspection. This was the fourth time! The only reason Ive gone there so many times is because they do inspections on Saturday evenings...well, thats what they advertise. Ignoring a customer I simply cant forgive.
The customer service was the best Ive had at any NTB Location on the US! In and out quicker than expected and the Manager that day was the best! Thanks guys!

Took my car to get a state inspection. The service tech told me he couldn’t pass my car for the hairline crack that went across the top of the windshield behind the rear view mirror. When I told him it passed last year with the same crack he rudely explained that he has kids at home and since his name is going on the inspection he will not pass it. So I left and took it to Firestone Complete Auto Care. They explained that a windshield is not an item of inspection and there is no reason the crack in my windshield shouldn’t have passed...I also bought my tires at NTB about 6 months ago. They put the tires back on my vehicle in the wrong place. The tpms is all mixed up and shows the tire pressure for the back tires on the front and vice versa. So when I had a low tire it took me forever to figure out what had happened. You’re supposed to be a professional tire business, and your techs can’t even get that correct? I will not be returning or recommending NTB’s services to anyone.
This was the only place I would go to until today and I will not be going back. Usually when I walk in, I am acknowledged and reassured that someone will be right with me. Today however the same guy was having problems with his computer, it was busy and he didnt acknowledge me at all! I waited 40 minutes hoping some one would say something to me but no one did. A customer that was already being helped apologized for me having to wait and I told him it was okay and that I understood that they were busy. And I really did but there is no reason to pretend like you dont see a customer because youre having a bad day. We clearly see that and are willing to work with you if you would show some sort of acknowledgement. NTB needs to either hire more assistance or let people know, no matter what the circumstance, about how long it might take. Extremely disappointed.
Had low tire pressure and took my car in to check it out. The tech took my tire off and couldnt find a problem. He then realized that the tire sensors on my car werent showing the correct tire that was going flat. He took that tire and wheel off and there were 2 small nails in. He did the repairs. The man in charge...Corey...not only had the tech relearn the sensors, but because I had to wait for 2 hourshe did it all with no charge. That was a great surprise. Corey was absolutely wonderful. He knows how to treat his customers! I would highly recommend NTB for all your tire needs. Thanks!

I had two very different experiences with NTB, one that made me angry and one that is why this store is getting a 5 star review.I called up to the store a few days ago to ask a few questions about my tires. I wasn’t sure if I was going to need new tires or if there was something more wrong than just bad tires. When I called the store, a manager answered. Her name was Shelly and at believe she said she was the store manager. While on the phone with her, she came off very rude and couldn’t seem to give me a straight answer about anything. I ended up hanging up the phone because I was getting so frustrated.After I got off of the phone, I decided that I would just go into the store thinking that maybe someone else there would be able to give me some answers. When I got to the store, the service manager Cory was at the front. He is the only reason I am giving NTB this review. He was very patient with me and explained everything to me very well. If you ever go to NTB make sure you ask for CORY. He knows true customer service.I ended up needing more than I could afford that day (and didn’t want to sign up for credit card)but when I do get the chance to come back, I will be calling to schedule for a day when Cory is working.
Was the worst experience Ive ever had with any company. Tires are barely a year old and already coming apart within 20k miles. The tires are still under warranty but was such a hassle that I would rather go buy new tires from somewhere else. Would not go back to this store for any reason, they are crooked and try to sell you parts that you dont need, on top of that they want a premium price for cheaper parts.

I called and even though I didnt have an appointment they told me they could take my car in and have it ready by the time they closed. Showed up and the manager told me they could not have it ready, it would have to be until another day. She wasnt much help. Thankfully Firestone was able to take my car in.
This place was installing tires on my car and the wheel stud broke off while in the middle of completing the job. They informed me of what happened and gave me an estimate of $110+ to fix it. SMH..

If you ever end up here get your estimate then get a second opinion/estimate, someplace else bet the repair estimate and work needing done will be less expensive. I had a friend (female) go in there alone and was given a $486 estimate for some front end work, I sent her to someone I knew who does the same work and it ended up costing half of what NTB was trying to charge. I stay away from places like this, i dont like seeing people taken advantage of, sorry thats just my personal opinion.
They sold me tires so expensive that I had to sign up for one of their credit cards. Then one tire went bad and they tried scamming me into buying a new set! I was literally shocked and asked if they were serious because I hadnt even finished paying the tires they had not too long ago put on. Plus the guy tried telling me it was my fault when I always go there to get my oil changed why did they never mention anything. Do not get swindled by these people. Him and the manager were also complaining how customers were trying to get something for nothing. How unfortunate for them to think that way of all there customers. Well they lost 4 customers because I told my fiance, mom, dad, and myself and we all agree and will be taking our money elsewhere. BAD place DO NOT waste your money!!!

This place is so slow its not even funny. I will never go back to a NTB. I only came here because theyre open on Sunday. Discount Tire is the only place anyone should go for tire service. Im not really sure how this place even stays in business at the pace they move. Avoid this place at all cost.

I started going here only because I got an NTB credit card w/ 6 months no interest. I had the warranty & free balance & rotation on tires so I decided while my car was there to go ahead and get the oil changed as well. Three and a half hours later, they still had not rotated the tires so I told them I needed to leave. They said they changed the oil but it turns out that they didnt. Two weeks later my car starts having problems; major problems....and guess what, there is very little oil in it, the oil that is there is thin and very black... NTB didnt change the oil and now I have my car in the shop with a very expensive engine overhaul bill to pay. Thanks NTB, you are the worst possible car care business I have ever dealt with. You basically ruined my vehicle, but hey, its got semi-new non-rotated non-balanced tires on it, right?And....before the stupid bot that replies to this review asks...No, I will not go to your crappy NTB site to copy and paste this review there. The employees were explicit that they have zero liability for ruining my car. What are you gonna do, tell me Im sorry for blah blah, hope you give us more $$$ in the future. Ive already cut up the credit card and am telling as many people as I can that NTB is trash.
I had gone several times for oil changes. They seemed ok. I went today at 2 PM and asked for an oil change and rotation. I brought a ride so I could leave my truck. The rep asked if I had an appointment. There were 2 cars in the bays and 2 in the parking lot and I need an appointment ? For an oil change and rotation ? In Waco ? I asked since they werent busy at all (its on the Sunday of a holiday weekend) if they could handle it today and they said no ... they had appointments booked all day and people coming in.What they had was an undermanned shop and a North Dallas attitude. I drive a great deal and spend a considerable amount of money maintaining vehicles. They just cost themselves every penny I spend in the future.

I went to this place yesterday, walked in and there were three people at the desk no one greeted me i waited for 20 minutes still nothing. I had to walk out and ask a mechanic that i saw outside a question that i needed to ask. Went back in still nothing so i left..Dont need to spend my hard earn money with them.
They did a good job on my work van. I told them that I would only be able to pick it up on the 19th and when they got it done early they started calling my boss complaining about it being there when they was told I would only be there the 19th
I brought 3 wheels to get a couple new tires and repair another. They damaged the finish on all 3 wheels. It looks as if they used a sharp chisel to remove the OEM weights. They also left quite a few scratches and marks on other parts of the wheels. This place is a joke and the employees are very arrogant. I was offered to have 2 of the 3 wheels repaired but that would require me to be out of a vehicle for several days while they are being repaired.
Used a coupon for an oil change. the technician broke the oil film cap and wantsd to charge $20.00 for an in house replacement. I walmed to an auto parts store a block away and secured a replacement for $7.00. Long wait time, lousey service and nearly 100% markup on parts. i will not be going back.

Have a fleet car went there to get a new tire. Stated they sent in the information for approval for a new tire. After waiting for two hours I asked what the status was. They said the front end alignment was denied waiting on a reponse for the tire. I asked the gentleman to call and see what was going on and he said no need to call we will just wait for the fleet company to respond. First of all the back tire needed replaced not on the front and second they never sent in an approval for the tire, per the fleet management company. So I went to another place that got me in and out. Bad customer service wont go back.
I would say less than one star. My 23 yr old step daughters vehicle was brought in for repairs. First they charged $140.00 for the idler pulley & assembly, THEN INSTALLED IT BACKWARDS!!! Vehicle still not fixed right!

Ive bought tires here for nearly 15 years. I had 19,000 miles on a set of tires rated for 75,000 miles. Got a flat, took it to get fixed. The tire sells for $126.99. The tire guy and manager called me out of the waiting room to show that the tire was unrepairable. There was a screw in the tread that was repairable, but a staple in the sidewall/tread area they said was unfixable. The tire guy himself, said as he pulled the staple, the leak got worse and worse. I said if Ive gotta have a new tire, then Ive gotta have one, right? Well with road hazzard warranty the tire should have been replaced or at least a well pro rated price. They tried to charge me nearly the price of a new tire (some warranty huh). So after the manager got all pissy over me refusing to pay such a outrageous fee to have a tire replaced, that has a road hazard warranty. I told her to just put my old tire back on and Ill take care of it myself. They wouldnt even fix the hole that was reparable. So I go on over to Waco drive to a reputable shop across from Ritchies Western Wear. So now Im paying someone else to fix this flat. I watched them work on it like a hawk. He looked puzzled when checking it. He removed the tire from the rim, carried the tire straight to me. Showed me how the staple wasnt even pushing through the tire. He patched the tire, balanced it. Over inflated it, and showed me it wasnt leaking. He reduced the tire to manufacture recommendation. And installed it. NEVER had leaked! I feel 100% that NTB tried to scam me to purchase a new tire. Im going to report them to the better business bureau, and leave this same review everywhere I can to warn everyone I can about their shaddy practices. Might I also add before I leave this page I was a nearly 15 year costumer to this place and never had a problem with them before this ignorant gypsy manager started there. I sure hope this review pursuads everyone who reads it not to go there. YOU CANT TRUST THEM.
The machine for seating the tire damaged our tire while trying to patch a leak. They replaced our tire and took great care of us!
Went to get tire fixed and tires rotated. 3 hrs later left with a itemized receipt for: tire repair, rotation of tires, and free battery check.My tires did NOT get rotated.Not that it matters but Im betting the battery wasnt checked either.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had at NTB. I would much rather have gone to a corner shop. I waiting in the lobby for more than 3 hours while they completed car after car of people that came in after me. They used up a quarter of a tank of my gas doing who the heck knows what. I will avoid this place at all costs.

They promoted an oil change and tire rotation for $19.88, but when we called to make an appointment, they quoted us $82 because our vehicle uses synthetic oil. Seriously? No oil costs that much more. Nice scam.

These guys were awesome . My stem valve on tire was leaking I went in and they knocked it out . So glad because I have no idea how I made it to Waco like that not did I know how I was going to make it to austin . They were quick and great about it . Thanks for getting me back on he road guys
