I have 2 kids at Baylor...both had issues after driving across country. City Tire and Battery was super helpful both times. They referred us to other service providers when they couldnt help. But took time to squeeze us in and run diagnostics. Theyve been super accommodating and friendly. Love knowing that when Im across country that there is a reliable upstanding mechanic my kids can go to when Im not around to help.

Three times Ive been here and overall service was good but they charge me a arm and leg everytime i come here. I just was here couple months back for ball joint work on my front end. 1100$. Now im back couple months later because my brakes and rotors are all really bad and needing to be changed for about another grand. So now my trucks parked and im out of work. In my opinion this is partially their fault this couldve been prevented the amount of damage done if i was told when i was here before for wheel work that i needed brakes.. Now ive damaged my rotors and of course gotta cough up the money

I had been done dirty by @texastiresofwaco and was in desperate need of a wheel alignment. Anyone who knows this truck knows that I take my truck to @freds exclusively. The only way Im goin anywhere else is if its in need of a service that his shop doesnt offer.I went there and was greeted by a very pleasant staff before Id even entered the building.The technicians there squared me away and Im a happy customer. If Fred cant do the work that my truck needs, its good to know that Ive got another great option.

Call for estimate on front tire rods replacement, front end alignment...They refuse to give you a estimate over phone.. Not even a price diagnose your vehicle, refuse your new parts to replace old.. You have to buy theres instead.. Rude over phone as well

Went in to see if my tire could be patched as I had a flat. The first man who helped me seemed bothered by my presence and was rude and short with me. After learning that my tire was not fixable they offered to put my spare on as I had a warranty on the tire at a different shop. No one informed me I was going to be charged $10 just for them look at my tire. The man who was assisting my check out process became very hostile and rude when I questioned where it says they charge $10 to just look at a tire. He couldnt produce such materials. He started raising his voice as well. I will never visit this establishment again, nor will I recommend anyone to go to this place. Rude and inconsiderate employees. If they are going to charge someone for something they should let you know upfront.

My girls and I were passing through Waco when my plastic cover under my car came unbolted. I had no clue where to go to have this fixed. The first place I saw was City Tire and Battery, so I pulled in. They said they could fix me right up and have me back on the road again. Within 20 min my car was ready and the elder gentleman was so kind and did not charge me. What a generous act of kindness today! Even though I didnt have a tire or battery to get fixed, their customer service was exceptional and I would highly reccomend them. Thank you again for your kindness today.

Not just a tire shop, City Tire showed me that I needed a front end alignment. They then found a problem with the steering box which they repaired. I can now see the difference while I drive, I dont even need to hold the steering wheel, she rides straight as an arrow. City Tire just isnt a tire store, these guys go the extra mile to find a smooth ride.

I was traveling through Waco and needed new tires and an alignment in a hurry to get back on the road for a long drive. The folks here understood my hurry, fit me into their shop schedule, gave me a great price, and were just downright good people, despite the fact that I live thousands of miles away and will most likely never be a repeat customer. I’ve just completed a six-hour drive to Mississippi from Waco and the car handled like a dream. It’s good to see there are still businesses like this out there.

I’ve only done business with this company a handful of times but their customer service is above exceptional. The same guy helps me every time I believe he may be the owners son or maybe he is the owner. I’m not sure, but overall great experience.

Went for an alignment and after an hour of waiting they told me they couldnt do it because i had a bent inner tie rod and wanted $250 to replace it.So, I went to auto zone and bought a new one myself ($25) and installed it in the parking lot in 20 minutes (inner tie rod was not bent). I took it back to ask where/how it was bent because it was totally fine. For some reason i still let them do my alignment...and to no surprise on the way home my steering wheel was about 45 degrees to the right and pulled to the left. All they did was eyeball the alignment and took it for a 15 second drive. WORST PLACE TO GO

Great service, friendly folks, Barry has been more than helpful. Ive bought five trailer tires from them in the past six months, and theyve been great to work with. The guys that actually changed the tires were friendly and professional as well.

Came in for a routine or oil change and tire rotation on my jeep. They didnt have the filter but didnt tell me about it and just kept me waiting. There was no one in line ahead of me and still the whole thing took over an hour.

I dont know how many times Ive called this place about an estimate and have been told Ill call you back with it and nobody ever calls back.
