Amazing, knowledgeable and friendly staff! The interior is so new and high end, doesnt look like youre at the eye doctor. Their equipment is the nicest Ive ever seen! I dont need a prescription, but I checked out their selection and it was modern and had a variety of frames. Kinda wish I needed some glasses!

I went in for a contact lense appointment today and all of their staff was wonderful. Leslie greeted me and walked me through each exam with care. Megan helped me pick out the perfect brand and carefully broke down each pricepoint for me.. And Dr. Sanders was incredibly thorough in her explanation of my prescription. Each of them made sure to answer any questions I had. Such an enjoyable experience with truly kind people!

My daughter, my husband and myself were patients at this practice. Their prices are insanely high but because I was aware of the thorough exams they give (I accompanied my daughter) I felt confident that they would be a good place for my husband an me to go as I knew we both needed bifocal/multifocal contact lenses. Long story short, my husband paid $85 at the time of the exam, was recently billed for another $38...fine. They provided a service, it costs, we get that. I asked for a copy of my husbands contact prescription and because the exam was over 30 days ago, in order for him to get the prescription, he has to come back pay another $139 for a refitting. This is because they have to ensure his eyes haven’t changed...seriously? Due to company policy, these are the rules, period. Apparently he signed a fitting agreement that says as much. So now his insurance benefit has been used, he can’t really go anywhere else and he needs contacts. This place is in it for the money. Not to help their patients like other doctors do. Strictly for the money.

It was a pleasure to have my exam today. Everyone was a pleasure to do business with. I especially appreciated the assistance I received in picking out my glasses. By far the best experience I have had with vision care.

Taking a lot of precautions for covid, which is really nice. Everyone was helpful and polite. They also do not do the test where they shoot the puff of air in your eye. Thats worth 5 stars on its own.

Fantastic medical practitioners here! I’ve had several appointments working with several staff members and I’ve been consistently impressed! Sometimes good medical care is hard to find, but if you come here, you’ll enjoy updated technology, friendly staff, and a fantastic doctor!They do have a service that does a very in depth scan of your eye, it isn’t covered by insurance, but it is optional and they are very clear about costs. I love when professionals treat customers with respect by being honest about charges before rendering services! I highly recommend getting that scan though, I’ve learned a lot about my eyes in the process, and they caught a rare eye disease (early stages) in my husband’s eyes!I love that the doctor reviews your results with you with great clarity! I’ve often been confused about eye health with other practioners, but feel so confident with her.

These guys have obviously spent a long time thinking through the process of a patient visit from the patient’s perspective. They were smart, efficient, and utterly delightful.

I am a new patient and had a great experience with Dr. Sanders. The office was very clean, and I felt safe attending my appointment with the COVID protocols in place. I felt that my vision and eye exam was thorough; my glasses prescription was updated, and they assisted me in picking out contact lenses through my insurance.

I was scheduled for an eye exam but my little dog was bleeding from the rectum and had to be rushed to a special hospital in Round Rock. On the way, I called to cancel my eye appointment. Almost a week later, I called Back to reschedule. I was told I had to give them a credit card on file. Since I called the same day and did not give them 48hrs notice, they wanted to charge me if I canceled again! In my case, I would never be able to give them 48hr notice! No emergency allowed!! This receptionist was allowed to determine whether I saw the doctor, was worthy of her (Receptionist) time spouting the rules of the office! I am just thankful I did not “make it “ through those doors to be insulted and judged worthy of an appointment!! Buyer be ware of this business!

This appointment was such a pleasant experience. Every assistant was so competent in their position. They are so well trained and friendly! Dr Virden is wonderful. She has a great bedside manner and when my exam was completed, I knew every area of my eyes had been checked. I know I have found my optometrist!

I liked that I felt very informed about the results of my exam, and was assisted with contact and glasses options, but didnt feel pressured. I was sent home with trials and told to wait a week before deciding. Thanks for a great appointment!

Dr Virden is not only the best in her field, but she knows how to put a staff together that are professional and know customer service. Three years ago, Dr Virden saved my eyes by putting the patient first with the desired outcome, no matter what it took.If she wouldn’t have me sent to a pschyc ward, I would spend some time everyday there with she and“The Girls” ! I was so very impressed with all of the people at Waco Vision Source. It is an extremely professional group from the moment you walk in the door. State of the art equipment, nice and friendly personnel. Dr Sanders was fantastic and everyone from the contact lens specialist Lymya and Tue fantastic optician Julie, who helped me but two pairs of glasses, even when I said I wouldn’t for top of the line. I could not recommend this team or practice higher. Great job!!!

It was my first time going to an optometrist in almost 7 years because I always hated the tests they did on your eyes but the staff was very thorough and talked me through all of the new technology in the office so nothing was startling. Office is super clean and staff is not pushy at all. I saw Dr.Vien and she made sure I understood all the information shared to me. She even gave me three eye drop recommendations at different price ranges and told me exactly where to go get them. Great service!

This is feedback only for the owner. I have tried on a number of occasions to contact your firm via phone to set up a visit to review my options for Varilux lenses and to order. No one has ever answered and no one has ever returned my call. The latest call was this past Thursday. Perhaps you wish to restrict your client base at this time but, it is unprofessional to ignore customers either current or future no matter how busy you may be.

I highly recommend Waco Vision Source. They have a great staff throughout the building from the front desk all the way to the Contact Lens Tech. Julie was a big help in helping me find the right glasses. Alyssa was fantastic in guiding me through all of the tests before I saw the Dr. Dr Jessica Vien was very knowledgeable and helpful and carefully explained everything in a way I could understand. You can tell she really cares about her patients and strives to help ensure that you maintain healthy eyes. The building is very nice and all of the equipment looks top notch as well. It was a great experience through and through.

If I could give zero stars I would. Exam was Dec 14th. It’s almost April and still don’t have my glasses. Awful customer service.

I’ve been visiting Waco Vision Source for several years now. The entire staff is always very professional and personable! I’ve seen Dr. Virden for the past few years and visited with Dr. Vien today. Both are wonderful! Very thorough and spend the time to be sure I am completely aware and that all of my questions or concerns are addressed. Contact and Eyewear staff are very welcoming also! My current vision insurance is not accepted in this office but I will continue to visit them annually as a cash patient. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my own vision health!

My family and I have been going for about 4 years. For the last year their service has gone down hill. I order contacts and never get notified of when they arrive. With the last order, it took a month to get in and I just walked in without calling (because they never are able to answer the phone) and luckily they had them. They told me that one box still hadn’t arrived. Another 3 weeks went by, and I called and someone actually answered. They said they tried calling me, but I know that was not true. My phone stays with me and no voice mail left. My husband complains about the same problem when he orders his contacts and I always defended VS. But now I will be searching for a different provider. Stacy the Optometrist is amazing. Just wish her team was as great as her.

Extremely professional and high tech. It was a great experience overall. Stacie did a phenomenal job explaining everything that was going on with my vision and how everything worked. I knew going in that they were going to push their own glasses but I just said I wasnt interested and planned to buy online and that was it. Walked out within an hour with my first glasses prescription. Ive already recommended several friends back to Dr. Virden.

I love Waco Vision source! The eye exams are thorough, Dr. Virden is knowledgeable and friendly. The service is excellent. I came in one morning when a nose pad had broken off of my glasses (I had replaced the lenses but not the frames). The associate who helped me was so kind and conscientious. Not only did she replace both the nose pads on my glasses, but she adjusted them several times to make sure my glasses were sitting at the best place for my vision. Their friendly service really made my morning.

Very poor follow up. I got fitted for contacts and unable to see out of them. The office texted me. I text back I can’t see. No other follow up and their office has been closed for covid. I guess seeing is an option during the virus.

From the very beginning, the office staff bloomed with hospitality. I was directed through some papers to sign where the desk staff noted exactly what I was signing and what that meant for me as the patient. I was serviced promptly for a scratch on my eye and the Dr and her assistants were extremely helpful. Couldnt recommend more. Having been to several different eye exam offices, this one made me feel the most taken care off. In fact, just after sitting down, a wonderful staff member asked if she could clean my glasses for me, noticing some smudges on the corner. What more could one ask for?!

They are the best. I couldnt get them right away but they kept the for me until I could come and get them. They are friendly and sweet. Will be back most definitely😊
