Would go lower if I could. Tonight, I bought a pack of cigarettes, and realized it was the wrong flavor after the purchase was complete. Which is on me. I asked the cashier on duty for an exchange, and was told no, because its against TABC policy to exchange cigarettes (even for the same exact brand, same price, just different flavor). And I was ok with that. Rules are rules. What I was NOT ok with, was being accused of asking for the wrong kind of cigarettes in the first place, and then being argued with and disrespected over it. I will NOT be going back to this particular store because I was treated like someone who doesnt know what she asked for (Ive been smoking ONE specific brand and flavor for over 10 years, so yea, I know what to ask for). Being misheard and being sold the wrong item is understandable, but being TOLD that I asked for the wrong item in the first place, when I didnt, is BEYOND frustrating. Yes, its my own fault for not looking at the pack before completing my purchase. But to tell me that I asked for the wrong kind, when I didnt, is rude and disrespectful to the customer.

The employees were more engaged in their personal conversations rather than engaging with customers. There wasnt any direction on who was going to ring me up be cause they were so busy jabbering in ghetto slang towards one another. It was unprofessional and I wont be coming here again. Its a shame also, I used to love this location. Hire more professional people.

Im always greeted with a WELCOME TO STRIPES, and the gas is affordable. If you have a Stripes card which is free, just ask, you can purchase your gas for 3 cents a gallon cheaper.

The two black ladies that work here are the most rude unprofessional so called workers I have EVER had. I travel all over Texas and love my state. I always do business at Laredo tacos but... Never here again. At least the young man that checked me out was nice...

The new GM has not been in store when I have called twice with complaints of those employee yelling at me and today she won’t even take my order. Always out of so much. Thanks for making my day horrible with ur employees that I have already told u about. I guess u care more about her than ur customers. I will not go back. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Extremely poor service. I dont even want to eat the tacos I bought because the person who made it didnt have his mask over his mouth or anything and was talking while looking directly at my food. Then there were no cashiers to be found and a line of 5+ people. 2 employees were stocking, saw me looking at them in line,, and would not come help anyone. Wasted money and im not happy about it.

Very very bad service this place takes too long to attend their clients tacos are made one day before and too sad they only have lazy people working there and their coffee machines didn’t work when I went

I asked for beans and cheese on my chicken fajita taco. The guy put rice instead of cheese. Next time Ill watch him make my stuff

Some employees are nice, theres never any ice to put in your cup or dr. Pepper in the machine. The store is not clean or swept or mopped. When I try to ask for help or something some of the employees are on their phone just walking around the store.

Super friendly and respectful girl working cashier late in the night. Gave incredible service and was great at multitasking a handful of people in line.

Love this place. Good service and theres always friendly employees greeting you as you as you enter. Gas price is always lower than other stations in the area. Will continue to go back.

I have been going to this Stripes every morning for the past 2 weeks to get a coffee before work. The espresso machine is never working because it says it needs to be cleaned. I have asked the morning workers and the manager about it and I have been told that it is supposed to be cleaned before 5am by the overnight shift. When I get there at 5:30am the machine is down. I brought the issue to the manager’s attention again two days ago and she told me she would be sure to bring it up to the overnight shift. This morning I go in at 5:34am and the machine says it needs to be cleaned. I’m off today so I go back at 8:47am for gas and the machine still says it needs to be cleaned! What is the point of having a coffee machine that is only going to be up and running for the later part of the day?

They had the tea all mixed up!!! I wanted unsweetened tea and ended up with raspberry . Yuck!!! The condiment counter with the limes, salsas, and etc for tacos was disgusting!!!!! I was there at 6pm and just happen to look at it. Gross!!!! I wouldn’t eat anything there and I am not getting a drink there anymore, either!!!!

The coffee is good and have a lot of options, got their tacos and the lady was rude and felt very impatient and kept messing up our order. Thought it was weird they didn’t have no potatoes and when she told us she said it rudely. We got a taco with bacon and there was no bacon in the taco.

People are going in store wothout masks. With the virus is not a good thing for people.. Thought you cant4 go in unless you wear them. Its not safe.

Speedy front desk and courtesy thats reputable! I love Stripes! They have basically everything for a pitstop.

Worst experience ever! I am a everyday PAYING customer of Stripes and tonight I was humiliated in front of a store full of shoppers when Kalesha (Manager) and Christine (Assistant Manager) takes my merchandise and tells me I have to leave the store because they have me on camera stealing from about 3 weeks ago and the only description they can say about the actual person who was really stealing was that she had long hair. I need to be contacted by Their managers because this shouldnt have happened to someone innocent.

The cook walked up to the counter 3 times, and never said a word to me.After the 3rd tine I asked the cashier was she not going to help us, or what? She tells back to cook that she had a customer at the counter.Ahe tells I know hold on. Im like nah Ill give my money to another place bye

Slow to help and managers dont open registers when there is a long line. They disappear to the back instead of helping.

Christine is a very rude person.We were buying the last Selena cups with our family and as the line grew longer she kept saying Out loud that she didnt see what the big deal was.Was huffing and puffing everytime she checked every person out.Just because its not important to you does not give you the right to disrespect others.

Whoever the Hispanic lady is that worked 9/12 at about 1:45 PM needs to be fired she is super rude and disrespectful. She thru my food together and had an attitude with every question I asked. But hey it seems like every stripes is going down the gutter. Every time I go to the restaurant the never get the ingredients right in my burrito its really insane

Stripes has become a horrible place to do business. I will avoid stripes from now on.
