This bakery is sublime. I love the way their cake is flavorful, and the icing is the sweet part. I’d eat their pumpkin spice cupcake on the regular (even without the excellent cream cheese cinnamon icing). I want the recipe. But, I will just have to stop by when in Waco. You can definitely get your natural pumpkin spice fix here. Highly recommend

Can’t recommend Sweetness Desserts enough! I ordered a baby shower cake and cupcakes in the Here Comes the Bride flavor, since it seemed like a simple flavor that most guests would enjoy. But I didn’t realize just how much they’d enjoy it! The mother-to-be absolutely RAVED about how delicious the cake was and several guests said they were the best cupcakes they’ve ever had. Laura and her staff did an amazing job and I’m so grateful. Highly recommend Sweetness Desserts!

So, I did my best to explain instructions on a custom cake I wanted via email. With sizing, color, etc.The cake on left is what I wanted a duplicate of, minus the brown icing color and no pecans on the top (wanted it changed to green like the carrot stem). The cake on the right is what was made for me...Dont get me wrong, it looks classy and elegant and fancy, but thats not really the cake I wanted to pay for because it wasnt what I was expecting. It tastes decent, the design just isnt what I specified for it was my only issue with it.Maybe its because I do graphic design for a living that Im so peculiar about what I want a cake to look like - but it shouldnt be hard to get a vivid orange and green food coloring to make it look similar, is it?So now Im off to place an order at another bakery and will be as detailed as I can with the simple instructions I have.

Wow. These Sweetness Desserts cupcakes found their way tomy table in New Braunfels, thanks tomy niece who works there, Emily. Even a day after coming out of the oven they are delicious. If you have the privilege of going in person, you should!

I received some cupcakes for my birthday! They were delicious but you can definitely tell they are made using a boxed cake.The icing flavors were so very delicious and I’d definitely buy them again! Sometimes using a boxed cake is the easiest and tastiest way to go, just surprising.

Sweetness cupcakes, from my experience, are top notch. The presentation is great, they cake has the right balance of moisture, the flavors are amazing, and the frosting is sweet but not overpowering like other bakeries Ive tried.

This place is amazing! I tried the coffee caramel cupcake and it was so delicious!!!! My kids loved the chocolate fudge and the strawberry cupcakes they are moist flavorful and the icing is so yummy! I like that there open most of the time and they answer the phone when it rings also there customer service is outstanding! I will be here very often we love cupcakes!

The cakes and cupcakes for my son’s wedding were absolutely amazing! The cakes were so gorgeous. Simple yet so intricately detailed on top. A true work of art. Everyone loved them.

The wedding cake and grooms cake were show stoppers! Absolutely stunning and exactly what my daughter visualized. And the taste... hands down the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. Perfectly moist, so delicious. Highly recommend!

I had a friend who was needing a cake / cupcakes for her Husbands birthday. I called the location and the owner answered who was more than happy to help us. She even stayed over a little past close so she could grab the cup cakes. Awesome customer service, and they even tasted great :D thank you again.

Truly the BEST cuppies in town and the most EXCELLENT customer service to go along with it.My favorites are: Berry Berry, Ebony/Ivory, Pumpkin Spice (holiday time).My daughters love the Chocolate Toffee Coffee cuppie best.We are weekly customers and will be sad when when we have to move from Waco area.

What a lovely shop! The ladies are very nice, too. We live several hours away, but when in town, we eat at a restaurant nearby. The sign and front windows drew me in, but the cupcakes will have us return every time we visit Waco! The shop is absolutely charming, the dessert displays are enticing, and the free samples are a wonderful way to preview the cupcake flavors. One sample of strawberry cupcake and I was hooked!!!! All the desserts are beautiful, but the strawberry cupcake is made in beautiful colors, and the icing, made with real berries, is incredible. It even has some sparkle!!! The cookies looked delicious, and all the desserts were artfully made. A sample of the fudge cupcake was very good, but their strawberry (one) is the best cupcake I have ever eaten!!!!When I last visited them, they had a new cupcake bouquet that was unbelievably beautiful and artistic. Wish I had snapped a photo of it!!Wish this shop was a lot closer to our hometown..........

OMG OMG OMG!!! BEST CUPCAKES IVE EVER HAD!! Just had my first taste here at the Deck the Halls Christmas holiday show and WOW!!!! The pumpkin and Bride white cupcakes are truly the greatest dessert I have ever had. We are from Austin and my mom and I are hooked for life with these incredible treats!! So excited!!!!!

I ordered a gluten free buttercream cake from this place, and the cake was amazing. Even my husband, who doesnt like cake very much, loved every bit of it!

This place is AMAZING. The people, the deserts, the atmosphere - I absolutely adore it. I know they are famous for their cupcakes (which I love and will steal a sample of every time that I come in), but there is literally no mountain high enough, no valley low enough, and no river wide enough, to keep me from getting to their chocolate chip cookies. They are the best. PERIOD.

My husband and I came down to Waco from Michigan to celebrate our anniversary. We read an article in the Waco Today magazine about this special bakery, and just had to try it out. The cupcakes were the best I’ve ever had!!! So moist and flavorful, it was difficult to choose just one! The cakes are absolutely beautiful. I wish we had a bakery like this closer to where we live. Such sweet staff too—we loved the whole experience there.

I stopped by the get some cupcakes for dinner at Sweetness Desserts. I crossed my fingers because I had not had a lot of luck with other bakeries. It is difficult to get moist cupcakes, good size and tasty without an excessive amount of icing. I ordered chocolate, wedding cake, italian cream and red velvet cupcakes. They were everything I had been looking for. They were fresh, delicious, great size, not overly iced and each variety was equally delicious. My family loved them as well. We are looking forward coming to Sweetness Desserts for aLl our cake and cupcake needs in the future.

They did Christmas boxes for me to take clients and they were wonderful to work with! Not only are their cupcakes and truffles delicious, but they are boxed nicely and really made me look good! I would highly recommend this bakery.

They did three 8 and 10 inch cakes for my wedding along with strawberry cupcakes and they were amazing. The cake was extremely moist and absolutely beautiful. I cant stand dry cake, and hers was the perfect texture. I highly recommend her!

The recipe for the dessertssold here are top notch. The owner is a sweetheart. All desserts are fresh and taste divine.

Amazing!!!! We have get a dozen of their cupcakes every Wednesday for $1 highly recommend them!!!!!! Most of the cupcakes have fillings inside they are delicious!!!!! As a matter of fact I’m eating a strawberry peanut butter one right now!!!!!!
