We have been completely satisfied with our whole home buying experience with Brigadier.  They made the process super easy and pleasant. Our home buying journey started back in October. We went to a dealership here in our town and we were very overwhelmed with our visit there. We went in to look and get prices. They wouldnt even show us homes or give us prices until they ran our credit, they were very pushy and ask for a deposit to hold a house that we hadnt officially decided on. I got very put off by the whole thing. I did fall in love with a home we saw that day and decided I wanted to see if that home was available elsewhere. I found Brigadier Homes online. I loved that they have the prices listed on the website. That is very hard to find in this market. I reached to to them and made contact with Trent. The price Brigadier had for the home was $23k cheaper than the local dealership we looked at. We requested our deposit back. And just held off for a little bit. I did alot of research and we decided in March to go up to Waco and have a look at thier houses. Walked in and Trent greeted us, we already knew which houses we wanted to look at and he was able to give us a sheet with the list prices, offered to walk with us but also allowed us to walk the lot on our own. Which is super nice and you dont feel like you have a pushy salesperson down your back. We decide to stick with the home that we originally wanted. He discussed a few things with us in regards to financing and we went from there. Financing was a breeze. We had that completed in about 6 weeks. We knew it would be a little wait for our home. During our whole process we worked the Trent, Katie and Kim and they were very responsive to all of our questions and very helpful with everything! Our home was delivered on July 5th and all of the crews that have come out here have been great we havent had any issues with any of them. We are moved into our home and couldnt be happier!

We bought our home from brigadier in May/June. We shopped around and decided that Brigadier would give us the most for our money. We bought pretty much the largest home on the lot. The Hamilton made by Clayton. Getting the cheapest price did come with a huge price though and if you’re reading this you’re in for a surprise.I love that others had wonderful experiences, but I wish those that had terrible experiences like us would speak up and leave a review and then maybe Dave someone a sad headache.We called brigadier in April and said we wanted a home. At this time we had already started shopping here locally in San Antonio. The person who answered our call was Zach Sullivan, and at this moment in time I wish with all my heart that I would’ve called another day and never trusted Zach. He led us through the house buying process and since we’re in San Antonio I asked him for pictures of the home since I requested a color change on the inside and I had never seen it with the white cabinets and such. He sent pictures of a home that was completely destroyed and he specifically stated that the pictures were of a home on the lot and it was not our home. Our home was being made in the factory that they had locally. I trusted Zach and trusted that Brigadier was looking after what their salesman was doing. I traveled to Waco to drop off our closing packet and saw the home on the lot and once again I asked Zach if that was our home and he was insistent that it was not and that our home was at the factory being “wrapped up.” Again I said ok. I insisted it did not want the home on the lot because of the MAJOR cracks all over the walls and the imperfections. I get that cracks come with a mobile home especially when it’s completely tape and textured but the cracks on this home were MASSIVE. On our contract I stated that I wanted stainless steel appliances and since Zach stated it came with the home he gave them to me at no extra charge for his mistake. That’s why I gave two stars instead of one, because he seemed honest for a day or so.When the papers were signed it seemed as if we were forgotten and Zach would no refund our calls or text.Finally he said our home would be delivered on a Wednesday. I took the day off to wait on the property for it to come in and it never showed! Despite multiple calls and text to Zach. He finally replied and excused himself stating he was at the factory checking inventory. I’m not sure why he couldn’t sent a quick 5 second text acknowledging me reaching out. He stated that the home was not delivered and he was sorry. However the driver of the home came by the property and stated that when he went by the lot our home was not ready and he couldn’t bring it. Zach said it was ready and said that the driver was lying. (Not sure what happened there.) our home had to be delivered by two trucks since it is a double wide.This is the most insane part aside from the lying and cheating. Our home was delivered and because the driver called in from being hung over the night before, it was left on the side of the road for 3 days!!!!!! It was a holiday weekend. During that weekend it rained and was incredibly windy & my 109 thousand dollar mobile home was on the side of the road 2 hours away covered by a plastic tarp for protection. When the one half of the home arrived on our property it stayed there while it rained because they didn’t bring the second half for a few days. The tar had holes and tears where I’m sure rain got it and now we have serious issues.Finally the second part of our home arrived and the men connected it. While the men were on our property they got into a fight. A literal fight because the boss was unhappy that the men took a break to eat when my father in law bought them some chicken. They were literally fighting in front of us. Full on cursing and about to fist fight. It was the most unprofessional thing I’d ever seen. Kim the lady at brigadier did apologize for this, but they continue to contract these men so obviously there was no real consequence for them.To be continued...

I stopped by to look at the homes. Everyone was so nice and helpful without being pushy. The prices they showed me are the best Ive seen and they have a lot of variety to choose from. I will definitely be coming back.

I had a really good experience talking with a sales guy named Trent. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone in the office was very nice actually. Ill be going back soon to buy a home.

Just bought my first home and the experience was excellent. I live in el paso tx and the entire process was so well organized and explained. Josh was very helpful on walking me through the purchasing and closing and Katie was just excellent on helping me getting my house completed in my property, she was very responsible and would always take care of every single problem that we would need help with or any questions we would ask. Very well recommended!

We purchased a home new champion home that was on the lot in September 2020. I was working with Josh and Adam. We made 2 visits in 2 weeks and put a deposit down on a home to secure it, and started the banking process. Both salesman were helpful but Adam seemed to handle more of the paperwork side. I used their site contractor for all services. Pad, electric, water, and septic. They were by far the best part of the experience. He was very helpful and handled tasks when he said he would. Closing took forever. I owned the land outright, they informed me by purchasing a home on the lot, within 2 months we could be living in it, weather permitting. There was some delays on my side of the paperwork process. After all our paperwork was approved, I had to constantly call Adam to make sure paperwork was done on their end. We didn’t close until December. The original agreement was to have it done before thanksgiving, then Christmas...... At closing, Adam came to the closing office, was asked by Monteith title company if he was a authorized signer he replied yes. He signed one for, asked for it back, and wanted to sign someone else’s name to it. The closed refused to notarize a form with a forged signature, and I kinda got Leary. Once closed the contractor Jade had the pad done as promised, and had to get inline for delivery. Rain delayed it for about a week but home was delivered. Jade continued to work and finished his part. My bank informed me to not fund the deal until the home was livable. Brigadier insisted I had to and threatened to not complete the house until I did. The bank called them several times on my behalf to explain it wasn’t to be funded until it’s livable. No repair were done, house was barley put together. I asked to speak to the GM or owner, they replied they are speaking in behalf of them. I wanted them to meet me at the home to see the condition, and it want close to completion. They hired a local contractor and he made the home worse than what it was. I had to fund the deal just to try and get anything finished, and when I did all the work stopped. Josh (salesman) tried to help speed the process along, and did a bit. I had to call the factory myself to get repairs scheduled for them to make the house livable. Finally by mid March the home could be moved in. I have been in touch with repair department at the factory, and they have sent a few crews out to handle some repairs. Brigadier has yet to contact me, do any walk throughs(as promised) service after the sale is horrible. Service after funding was non existent.

Unless you have $100,000+ to spend on a home alone not including the land and prep do not buy from here!!! We are first time home buyers, we werent shown pictures of the house we were buying, we were given a blue print and thats it. We asked multiple times for inside pics and received 2 of the kitchen. Our house is a very bare minimum house. The cabinets dont even have shelves in them! No dividers! Nothing!! So I cant even really organize my kitchen. Not to mention the drawers dont even accommodate a silverware divider. We were homeless for 3 months because they refused to give us a estimated move in time, though we asked multiple times, at closing we asked about through April since we were in an apt and our lease was ending in March, they said April was a good time frame. April came and left and still nothing from them. We had to stay in an airbnb for a month and a half for almost $4000 and then couldnt stay any longer since we didnt have more funds. Luckily we were able to squeeze our family of 7 in with my sister in her home with her family. Weve had nothing but problems since we moved in. The house is so quickly and badly thrown together. Slices in the floors from them cutting things on it, pieces outside keep falling off, our water heater didnt work for the first month, our back door still doesnt always close. We have 5 kids and having to boil water to bathe them and ourselves. Cant wash dishes properly since there is no hot water to clean greases etc. They finally fixed our water heater after a month of no water, just for it to break again!! We have been trying to get ahold of someone for going on 3 weeks now to get it fixed and we still dont get a response. Ive emailed, left voice-mails, called etc and cant ever get an answer. Weve been here since July and the water heater has worked maybe a month of that whole time. Now Im back to bathing with boiled on the stove water. As a first time home buyer this was supposed to be exciting and it has been everything but!!

Best prices anywhere! We saved $13,000 on the same home in our area. It was worth the drive for us! Service staff is friendly also. It took them a bit to get our home delivered because of the rain, but there is nothing they could do about that! We highly recommend!

I only went there because the website showed some mobile homes under $30000, but when I got there the website was wrong. A business needs to make sure the website is updated as the homes sell.

Looking at some different housing options. This place offers some top quality housing options. From granite countertops to Crown moldings and garden tubs, was very impressed with what this company produces. Sales staff was very friendly, no pressure, gave us the keys to the models to explore by ourselves. I particularly liked the no pressure in your face sales approach, allowing us plenty of time to form our own opinions. Definitely worth checking out as a less expensive option to custom builders.

Would NOT recommend buying a house from here to my worst enemy. I havent lived in my house for 6 months yet and trim has fallen off, dishwasher has broke, water has leaked in from my back door due to the weather strip being messed up that they were supposed to come back and fix months ago and still havent. The chain to the front glass door was missing when delivered and that still hasnt been fixed, the bath tub in master bath had nasty sticky stuff on it when delivered and they were supposed to come try and remove or get me a new tub and that hasnt happened either. The more digging and research I do the more unhappy customers I come across. If you do decide to buy from here do your research because they are all about you until the papers are signed and house is delivered and then your calls and messages will be ignored.

DO NOT EXPECT SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!They want to sell you a home, but when it comes to repairing issues.... well, you have to literally go back and forth between Clayton and brigadier homes!! Brigadier will eventually start ignoring you, and you have to threaten Clayton to do anything.DO NOT RECOMMEND DUE TO THE SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!

Brigadier Homes is an excellent operation. I was personally helped in the past by one of their reps. named Josh. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & professional. I would recommend asking for him if you are looking into homes offered by Brigadier.

Do not recommend buying anything from this place. Our home is 5 years old and is falling apart and of course they wont do anything about it. Shingles are falling off the roof which means it was not installed properly. I suggest going with a company that will be there for you after the sale and not leave you hanging when you have issues. Terrible company.

If you are looking for a conscientious business to purchase your home from, do not buy from this company. My 82 year old mother bought her home from this company a month and a half ago... it is still not setup. The sales manager Trent was being argumentative everytime my mother called about scheduling, so i took over over all communication, of which there is very little of to be honest. After a month and a half in, the house is still not setting on all the on the piers, yet they tied it down anyways. We have now been trying to schedule the AC hook up for over 2 weeks and they will not return calls or schedule the hook up. They did send their repairman out after we found a water leak in the wall and he supposedly fixed the leak ... of course, it then cost us a service call to have the water company come out to determine why we didnt have water and a plumber to come fix the repair the repairman made. Apparently, he installed a check valve... backwards, instead of a coupling, which prevented any water from entering the house system. Save yourself some headaches, buy elsewhere!

Just bought a home from here and it still hasn’t been delivered. Each day they say it is scheduled it changes. The communication is horrible with this company! I took off of work the day my home was supposed to come only to call them and find out the driver wouldn’t be able to come until the next day. This has been a very frustrating experience.

Great group of people in Waco. They helped answer my questions on many different options that are available in buying a mobile home. Will refer my friends to the professional team at Brigadier Homes if they are looking to buy a new or used home.

Awesome place but it is now a Motel 6 no longer called Rodeway Inn and address is 3912 I. H. 35 South Waco, Texas. Managed by the Patel Family. Still looks the same mostly but changes are coming at a rapid pace. The signs have changed allready and paperwork taken care of. It will be interesting to see what happens next. Sam Ethridge
