Went there yesterday and today because I googled and check whether it is open. It said its open until 6pm. Both days Fantastic Sams was closed.

Made an appointment but shop was closed . No call from them to let me know . Guess customer service not important to them. They used to care maybe change in management or personnel.. Will drive to Kapolei to get a haircut at Supercuts

I enjoy the convenience of Fantastic Sam situated close to where I reside. I also enjoy how Julia cut and color my hair. She is very friendly and makes suggestions to my questions. She is professional and well like by her customers, including me! Im always satisfied, and will continue to visit Fantastic Sams for Julias excellent customer service!

Sad to say I made an appointment for October 13th only to arrive and find the closed. Surely as they take your phone number when you make the appointment they could at least call you

We walked into the shop and it felt so dated, so worn down and unlovingly empty, I wondered if Id get a hair dresser who would be in her twilight years. At the time of my visit ( Friday, before 4 pm), there were just 2 and it felt like forever! The only interaction we had with someone was when we walked in but that conversation was a brief Have a seat kind of deal. No eye contact. No Hi. When SUZANNE was freed up, she warmly greeted my son and walked him over to her station. They talked about his hair and she looked him over, making sure the details in his cut would work. Her cut was quick and easy and he loved it! Then she led him to the basin for his Shampoo therapy and my testy preteen turned into putty! He watched how she styled his hair with gel (and loved every second!) Suzanne is a hidden gem here at Waianaes Fantastic Sams, the only reason for my 5-star rating. I do hope the owner(s) try to update the shop- Ive seen the same interior since 1990s.

A simple hair cut is 23 dollars and change. Add in a tip and this is a bit overpriced even for Hawaii.. Haircut is good though but I have the worlds more simple haircut.

Pretty damn good service

Who knows whats going on there lately but only one person to cut hair and god forbid if someone is getting a perm or something that takes a long time thats ahead of you. These people dont even show up on time if they show up at all. Too bad for them I guess they dont want to make money. Plus NO AC they open the door. I am finding another place.
