Not worth a star. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. As a resident of Waldorf Maryland I try to spend locally although I work in DC.In the past I frequent this store for kitchen items when I wanted to avoid big mall crowds. Today I walked into this store to purchase shower hooks. I selected the shower hooks needed and proceeded to the register. The cashier stated she did not take cash just credit card. This was the only statement she made to me. I asked her if the store no longer accepted cash? She stated the store accepted cash but, go to the next register. Ok, so lets back up for a minute, her initial greeting to me was she did not take cash. She did not say hello, ask me if I found what I was looking for, nothing. I told her in a loud voice that she may want to refer me to a register that accepts cash and not start off a conversation on what she does not accept within a transaction. As I proceed to the next register I ask the cashier to please ring up this purchase. She proceed with the transaction while reflecting disdain in her mannerism.(rolling of the eye, taking deep breaths) She ask me to place information into the register ( telephone, etc) I decline and ask if we can skip this I just wanted to make a purchase. I handed her $20.00 for an $8.00 transaction (cash), She proceeded to wrap up the transaction by placing the change, item and receipt in my hand. I asked for a bag and she had a reaction. The initial cashier came over and said just give her a bag in a nasty tone. I decline everything and asked for my money back. The cashier became rude and wanted to argue. I told her again in a calm voice. I wanted my money back. After running her mouth with useless explanation she generated and proceeded to give me a store credit. I asked her one more time to give me my money back before we have a problem. The manger or supervisor came to the register and gave me my money back. She apologize. The manager was nice and very professional. I left the store. I did not want to act a fool I just want my money back. I then proceeded to Target where I am always treated respectfully and I found the perfect shower hook ( in brushed nickel) . I paid $12.00. 4 dollars more than I would had at Bed Bath and Beyond. (Target had a larger inventory and I selected something a little more stylish). Target knows how to value its customer by hiring staff that will treat the customer ( the person with the gold)with respect. It seems as if the cashier at Bed Bath & Beyond dictate the profit margin of this store. No wonder the store was empty. Attached is the receipt from Target in case anyone from BED Bath & Beyond want to understand how profit looks. Based off the treatment I receive i do not recommend this store until it changes its current staff.

The store is inviting and well organized. I enjoy strolling down the store because it encourages you to buy things.

Typical BBaB...staff are friendly. Store is clean. The area that its in is a pain with parking and people wont stop when you cross the parking lot so be careful.

I overheard the cashier making derogatory remarks about me. I chose not to saw anything because I knew she would have denied it and that would have angered me even more. I used to love this store, but the last few times I gone there, it has been a problem with the customer service.

This morning I went to exchange an item that I purchased a day prior, not only did the cashier refund me instead of exchange but was argumentative with me in regards to what I asked for. I will not shop here again. It’s already unfortunate that this location has very little inventory, they advertise items they don’t even carry in the store. But the workers are hard to find for assistance and they still nickel and dime you, not allowing you to use more than one coupon at a time. I bet if I was in Lexington Park location I would have better customer service and more to choose from. I will not be back to this location!

There is a large selection of home items here. Great place to go if you need gift ideas. It has kind of a warehouse feel which I dont really like but I always find something different here to buy when I go

The store is huge and has everything for bedrooms and baths. I particularly like their kitchen section that had every utensil you could ever need. Nice selection of Yankee candles. Always buy our pillows here as well as coffee pods for Keurig. You can use their coupons forever.

The store was recently remodeled to make it easier to check out. The new products are all in one area to make them easier to find. There are plenty of people to answer any questions about the location of products or help with a decision. I found a good buy on some drinking glasses. You can also order something on line and pick it up at the store. The seasonal products are right in the front of the store along with some of the sale items.

We went shopping for my nieces first year in college and used a 20% off coupon (on entire order) and saved almost $200 on that visit! AWESOME SAVINGS!! Especially helpful were Bed Bath & Beyond employees PAM (f) and ALEX (m) who were both professional, showed us where things were in the store and greeted us when they first saw us. I love good customer service!I absolutely love going to Bed Bath & Beyond and try to go as often as possible. My favorite section of the store is the kitchen department, so many gadgets!I look forward to my next trip to Bed Bath & Beyond one of my favorite places to go shopping🛍.

Bed Bath & Beyond is always fun to go browse around and see all the new and exciting Products that come out. I always seem to find something that I need every time I come here. The BEST store ever!! Customer service is always great and I appreciate how easy it was to get the coupon difference after making a purchase the day before! A lot of times, associates from other places will get upset because youre trying to save a few bucks but again it was no problem at all for me to receive the difference. Very clean store and had exactly what I needed.

Wanted an item not in store, and the gentleman suggested ordering if available. He looked it up and ordered for me. I was pleased because I would have left without th he possibility of having the item.

They thought of everything! Its my go to spot for all things that make my house work! The selection is great and I always find more than I came for...I also highly recommend it for college dorm shopping .

The shopping experience at this location was a good one. The staff was very available to assist, very helpful and professional, knew exactly where the merchandise was that we were interested in. The entire experience was very refreshing for a change. We will visit this location again in the near future.

I asked for help for myself and another customer. Employee complained he had to get a ladder. Then he asked what we wanted. Just no get go. He came back and told us a couple items he had. Would not tell us all what they had. Kitchenaid stand mixers is what we both wanted. He never did get the ladder to show us what was up on the upper shelf. I left saying I will go to the store near me.

I love walking around this store and getting ideas on the way I like to design my rooms and cabinets. However, I have to budget myself cause Ill go outrageous. I enjoy the staff. They are friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Bed bath and beyond always has what I need for my house and household. They always have good sales and being a beyond+ member gives you an extra 20% off.....hellz to the MFing yeah. And bed bath and beyond has some of my favorite household brands, from Simple Human to OXO.

When we entered store, we were immediately greeted by an employee offering his assistance. We were directed to the area in which we wanted to shop. Shopping for a trash can, we located one we liked, but the color we wanted was not there. Thus, the four stars instead of five.

I am new to the BBB experience. I am still so blown away by the level of service and the friendliness of the staff. Nordstrom is known for their customer service and friendly staff but Ill bet my bottom dollar that BBB has exceeded them. There isnt enough room here to detail how amazing the staff was in accommodating a return without the receipt. I ended up spending much more because the staff was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted.

The store is very clean, but because of the amount of stock it always appears extremely cluttered. Its organized well enough; and if you need help finding your way, theres almost always an employee nearby. You can start shopping and just work your way around counter-clockwise and end up at the registers.. so be real careful or youll find a bunch of things to buy. I can buy the larger sized CO2 cannisters for my SodaStream machine here as well as an assortment of syrup flavors. I just wish they still sent out those 20% off coupons as often as they used to..
