As a senior citizen, I appreciated the young man outside this afternoon on 9/13/21 collecting the carts. He was very professional and polite while assisting me. He displayed exceptional customer service.

I went to Lowes to purchase blinds. Not only was the inventory limited, there was no one to assist me. I decided to leave and take my business to Home Depot. I was impressed with the choices they had to offer and Justin in the floor and window department was very helpful. He cut my blinds perfectly. I am very happy with my new blinds and the service he provided. He was very professional.

This is your typical Home Depot. They have a good selection here. The prices I feel are better than their competitor down the street. There is also a tool rental at this place. If you are looking for tools and are on a budget, check out the rental center as they sometimes have some of their used tools for sale.

This Home Depot is Ok. Better than most but not the best one Ive been to. Theyve always been helpful; your just not sure when your gonna get the help. If they work on their response time and attentiveness as well as restocking; they will be top-notch!

The associates were very helpful and attentive! Gee (thats his name) was very patient as we looked through water heaters to find one we liked. The cashier (sorry I forgot her name) was funny and efficient. Got us out quickly while still communicating with coworkers. She was definitely good at her job! Well be back!

Nice Home Depot and usually has anything you are looking for. Prices are competitive for the area, especially since there is a Lowes about .5 mile away.

I like their garden center. They carry a nice selection of flowers in the Spring and the Fall. These wax begonias are still looking good. They were planted in June.

Ok until I got to the self check-out register. Then it was very exceptional. The male attendant with the beard was informative and attentive! He even volunteered to come to my car and help load a heavy item.

I have been remodeling and expanding my chicken coop and therefore found it convenient to order my material at Home Depot and then having it either delivered or I pick it up. As far as pricing and comparison I found that Lowes and Home Depot you definitely have to compare depending on what you are looking for. I usually choose whichever one that has the cheapest.

Terrible, I was informed that Corporate Policy is that, although they say that they honor those who served, unless you are an active duty service member or a retired 20 year veteran you will only rate the 10% military discount on veterans day! I am so please to write this review. I had a really good experience with the sales team at The Home Depot. Specifically Anita and David. I was slightly frustrated when I found Anita in isle 54 which is gardening. I needed to purchase a trimmer line for my weed cutter machine. However, I was not sure if I had the right product and I needed someone to show me how to tread it. I had my machine with me. Anita treaded the machine and she made sure she took her time and and demonstrated the correct way it was done. She then ask me to wait a few minutes so she could find Dave (who works in gardens) to confirm she had treaded the machine correctly. A few minutes passed and she followed up with Dave walking beside her. Dave told her she did an excellent job. He then proceeded to show me how to place this item into the machine and gave me some helpful tips when using this device. Both Anita and Dave told me to come back in to see them if I had any more question or concerns. All of this occur during a very busy Saturday 1:00 pm at 12050 Jefferson Farm Pl. Waldorf, MD 20601. I just wanted to say Thank You again

So uh where are all the customer service associates when they get called on the intercom to help customers at? The staff has truely mastered the art of hiding in the rest room and leaving free rain to folks. I coulda robbed the place blind. Im shopping online next time smh.

Robert Hern in the appliance section was absolutely fantastic!!!After many attempts of getting our washer and dryer delivered (6 weeks total) from Lowes, we cancelled our order and went to HD. First time, everything was delivered and set up for us. Robert made the experience fast and easy! We are so happy we went to Robert and Home Depot, we will absolutely be back!

Store assistance are not knowledgeable about the products in the store . They didnt know how to use the computer system to look up merchandise. After 10 minutes he said I dont know . Alot of training is needed about the products in the store and customer service

In almost every way HD is inferior to Lowes. Most of the store is kept poorly, overstock practically block some isles (ESPECIALLY paint isle), a lot of carts are in disrepair... BUT their plant section, especially indoor plants and pots, is VERY nice, a very large assortment and they seem to get fresh stock in often.

Please clean the exterior surroundings. All the exits have litter

I wish I could give zero stars. Set up a delivery for Saturday. Home Depot gives a delivery window of 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., laughable but I was willing to spend a day waiting. 6:00 p.m no delivery I call the store and they say it’s on the truck and the driver will cal 30 minutes before. 7:35 p.m. no delivery and no call. I call the store back and no answer. Try to use the horrible text customer service and they just say the delivery is on the truck. It is now Tuesday I still have no delivery and no one from the store has reached out. Customer service is a joke they can’t offer a refund of the delivery charge, they won’t offer a discount and haven’t even offered an apology. I haven’t been able to get the store to answer the phone and the text customer service agent tells me the delivery was rescheduled to April 17- without any authorization from me. Save yourself the trouble and go to Lowe’s in LaPlata.

Manager Lisa was m.i.a. for 1hr and became rude and aggressive when I called to complain. I waited for over 30 mins for help, then was told there was nobody working in that department. Waited another 30 mins for manager Lisa, had to call 3 times to speak with her. She became rude and defensive, she needs more training

Made a large purchase and the military discount caused a problem. Took about 10 minutes to correct with staff needing to make several calls to management for approval. We did receive great assistance with placing the purchase in the car which saved the purchase experience.

This store was somewhat of a mess. The isles were littered with abandoned carts and products spilling on to or lying on the floor, the displays were lacking variety. The employees seemed good-natured, but were goofing off or daydreaming. The entire experience reminded me of a house full of teenagers whose parents left them alone for the weekend. Is there anyone in charge of that store??I will say that I felt safe in the store and parking lot, and the other shoppers were all pleasant.

Simple off the shelf Items was out of stock or not available here (electrical department.) Store personnel not helpfully in directing customers to locate items and not very customers friendly. However cashier provided excellent customer service.

I enjoyed working with Des. She was very helpful with my transaction. Good help is hard to find but Des goes beyond to please her customers. Great job Des at the Waldorf store.

Last Thursday I was replacing my toilet & went to home depot to pick up my toilet & the young man bought it out to me & wore a mask & greet me with great service. I went back cause I need a longer hose & nobody was around to help me so I purchased the wrong hose & had to take it back. The 3rd time I went to return & purchase the right size hoses. I went to plumbing, a nice Chicago fan man helped me with the right size hoses & I got my new toilet running & love it. Home depot is a great place.

I was looking for a oven element and I watch 4 associates walk bye and not 1 ask if they could help me with anything. I finally went and ask someone and they act like it was a chore to tell me they dont sell them. I just left after that. They have enough business. They dont need mine.

The new lady in Flooring had a wonderful personality. She offered everyone within her reach assistance. I got everything I needed.

I understand that there are x amount of associates in your store. However? I have been waiting for someone for a shower door for the last 35 minutes, and no one has come to greet me. Its situations like this that drives you to your competition. No one has a whole day to spend waiting for an associate. This is a very frustrating situation and absurd wait time for service that I want to provide

I try to avoid shooping here. It seems like there is usually an issue. Website says they have it and they dont. Need an associate to assist you? That might be a challenge. I tried curbside once and waited outside for over an half hour. I finally left without my items. That being said, the last trip they actually had what they said they had on the website and the cashier was very pleasant.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. I ordered a Dewalt planer weeks ago. Ive called multiple times a week to speak w customer service who could not give me any information purchase what so ever . Then I get a call saying it was delivered to my home 9 days ago. We have talked to them at least 3 times since then and they couldnt give me as much as a estimate on when I would receive it but now all of a son it was delivered. Super sketchy. Feel like the robbed me. Do not buy anything that need to be shipped by Home Depot . If its not in the store for pick up its a scam.

The store is passable. A few of the sections really need help. It is difficult to find what I need in the plumbing, electrical and hardware sections. The displays are usually out of place and I end up having to dig for what I need. Ive never had any issues with the staff. They are always friendly and helpful. And the gentleman that runs the tool section is very knowledgeable and always a pleasure to talk to.

I know this Home Depot better than I know my supermarket, easy to navigate and usually well stocked. Plenty of help around if needed.

Shady. 1st time I put an online order in, after 3 days of not fulfilling, I cancelled and went in store to get the items. 2nd time I put an online order, it took a day and I was unavailable. They charged me, never refunded, and then I got an automated email asking how my pickup (that never happened) went. Am talking to a second agent now to get my money back. I do not trust Home Depot Waldorf.

Yesterday the Upper Marlboro location gave me a gas tankless water heater instead of an electric one. It took them an hour to pull and load the wrong unit. They could not find anyone in plumbing and everyone was courteous and persistent but had only worked in the store for 6 weeks or less.. Returned it today and theironline inventory shows one in the store, Noone answered the page for help in plumbing,, and no one could find it. Stood at customer service and verified that a store 14 miles away was suppose to have it, after a 20 minute store to store call, most of which we were on hold.They were asked to pull it and hold it at the service desk as they only showed two in stock online and I heard them say on speaker phone they would do so under my name. Got to the second store maybe 40 minutes later and no one in customer service had any idea what I was talking about. So, I usually like the products and pricing is fair butcustomer service in both Upper Marlboro, MD plumbing department and Waldorf, MD customer service and plumbing left much to be desired.

I seriously think Home Depot needs to go on a training tour and show other stores how to do self-checkout stations. Home Depots seem to be among the best. Very initiative and easy to use. Definitely appreciate the availability of self-checkout and avoiding the longer lines during the continued pandemic.

Bought a U haul to go pick this thing up . Now my order it delayed and not instock. Spoke to customer service, they were no help, just wasted my sunday and money on a U haul truck for an item that was showed and still showing as instock online ... worst expereicne ever stay far away ... The rating is based off of the usage of curb side pick up. I have utilized their services twice and both encounters ended up with a positive impression.The wait time was average, not too long and not instantaneous but that is to be expected since the orders have to be brought over. The gentlemen came over with masks, and loaded all my orders with no complaints.

Terrible customer service, 3rd time placing an online order and every purchase became a hassle once you arrive to pick it up. Every order was never ready or was actually out of stock once you show up. If it says in stock prepare for it not to be. Most recent online purchase for store pick up had 4 items in stock yet I only left the store with one item, got home and realized I was given the wrong item anyway. The Walmart of hardware stores.

The customer service at this Home Depot was terrible when I needed help receiving a package of replacement parts from a manufacturer (the original order was an online order). The package was sent to the store and signed for by the receiving department. However, they misplaced it at some point. I went to the store, called several times (over 3 or 4 days), and was transferred to several different people, but no one was able to tell me where the package was. Finally, I spoke to a manager (after being on hold for 2 hours!) who told me that he would look for it, but he explained that based on the circumstances, he probably wouldnt be able to locate the package either. Upon my request, he agreed to call me back if he was able to find it, or send an email to me explaining that they could not find it, if he was unable to locate it. I never received a call or email. And Im in the process now of reaching out to the manufacturer again to see what they can do. Personally, I did not feel that anyone at this Home Depot store - except for one woman who was very helpful - really cared about resolving this situation for me or took any responsibility for losing a package that they signed for. When I called, the representatives were not interested in listening to what I had to say so that we could avoid steps that had already been taken. And I kept getting transferred to a department (Receiving) where no one was answering the phone. One woman who seemed helpful took down my information and went to look for my package. I never heard from her again... All in all, it has been a terrible experience and my wife and I are truly considering moving our business to the Lowes right up the street because of it.

We recently bought a new home in the area. This was my first time visiting this store. My first impressions when googling this store was 3.9 Stars. Great. I think that I went there expecting the following... Unhelpful staff, no one available to help, questions unanswered, you know, the usual. First stop Mirror isle. I didnt catch the ladies name. I asked her where could I find the large gym style mirrors (3x5). She directed me to the correct isle! Woah! she was right. Here they are! I then needed the J mouldings to hang the mirrors. I found another lady. I didnt catch her name either. She directed me back to the mirror isle. She told me that they were not showing any in stock but I should go and look. Ok, so back I went. She was correct. They were in the mirror isle. Right beside the damn mirrors. I dont know how I missed them. I noticed that the mouldings did not have screws in the packets. Great. I walked out of the isle and found 2 more employees walking down the center isle. Excuse me...(Explained my story). They told me that they didnt know which screws that I would need but I should check out the Hardware isle and speak to a staff member there as they would be sure to help. They gave me the correct isle number and off I went. Got to the hardware isle and no one was there. I walked over to the other isle and found a staff member serving another customer. I waited. Excuse me.. I dont suppose that you are from hardware are you? No, im from plumbing. But what do you need? Ill see if I can help. Well, he helped all right. He found me the screws that I needed. He was (like everyone that I had met so far) very helpful and polite. He walked me back to the hardware isle and then he took me back to the Mirror isle to find the top brackets/clips for my mirrors. His name was Mr. Dave. Thank you Mr. Dave! You were fantastic. I then went to book a consultation at the Pro desk to have someone provide me with a quote on some Composit fencing. Yet again! Polite and helpful staff! What on earth. Am I in the right place? I went to check out. I was greeted with a smile and a Good afternoon maam. Just the small things. She too was very polite and helpful! Her name was Vaquia. Home Depot totally blew my mind. It appears that they are working on fixing there 3.9 Star rating. And I have to say, If the staff continues on this path. Theyll get there before they know it. Such a pleasant surprise. They turned a dreaded trip into an absolute pleasure. Thank you! I will most certainly be back. Keep up the good work team!

I’ve been in the store and calling for the last two days, with no assistance. I have a couple of projects going on in addition to a delivery which I was told was ready for pick up but when I get there, it can’t be found and I was asked to come back. Normally, I’m pretty patient and understanding, but I can’t get help from the departments, who took my down payment, or customer service regarding the delivery. Disappointing.

Waldorf home depot was very well stocked and helpful they had everything I needed unlike laplata lowes...they always have empty shelfs and act like its a problem to help a customer...I have always been a faithful laplata lowes customer but after shopping at home depot im not sure that I will waist my time going back to lowes.
