Great friendly service!!! I called this shop about some issues I’ve been having with my BMW and wanted to see if I could bring it in for repairs. At the time they were very busy and could not take my car in. Although they couldn’t take my car, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone helped me as much as he could answering my questions and asking about my issue and giving me advice and recommendations to get it resolved. Very much appreciated.

This guy is a really good honest individual and is always trying to help the community. Ritchie is a good guy and has been servicing my cars now for a few years. On a couple of occasions he couldve taken advantage of the situation and charged me more but explained how the car didnt need the additional work. Most mechanics wouldve just said sorry Im gonna have to do more work and charge extra for something I wouldnt be able to verify. Ritchie knows his stuff and has always gotten the work done in a timely manner.

This shop came highly recommended and I can see why. When I arrived he was mid installation of some cameras and a sound system and I saw the car was from out of state. And this is the kind of mechanic you drive across state lines for.Richard, the owner, is very communicative. He sent pictures throughout the whole repair process. I saw the parts that needed changing and saw the pieces that were being installed prior to installation. I was informed on what to look out for, how to care for the car to get better mileage from the parts installed and given a time frame to expect when I needed to get stuff looked at. The works.He worked quickly and I saw that he devotes his time to each vehicle, unlike other mechanics I’ve dealt with, he wasn’t scrambling. Very organized, very clear and very efficient.The car was done way faster than expected. I got my whole brake system overhauled and some minor electrical work and I had my when he projected I’d have my car back. I called to schedule when I can drop the car off and he was ready when I arrived. It was the best mechanic experience I’ve had in my whole 16 years of being a driver.I expected to pay 1.5x more and was sure that somehow it would all cost an arm and a leg, but nope. Quality repairs, quality service and they’ve officially become the ONLY MECHANIC THAT I WILL RECOMMEND.

My car was towed to Viejo auto repair on monday afternoon after not being able to get it to start for over a week. The owner Richard was very kind and assured me that he would call me the next day with an answer. My car had a bad distributor and refused to start, this was also draining my battery. Richard and his team diagnosed the issues very quickly and ordered new parts to fix my car. By Tuesday afternoon my car was fully fixed. On top of diagnosing the issue and replacing the parts, Richard also recharged my dead battery and fixed all my ground wires to make sure my car was running better than ever! I highly recommend this shop to everyone. The employees are very kind and very helpful, I will definitely be taking my car back here in the future.

I recently brought my car in because I noticed a leak. Turns out the last mechanic I took the car to didn’t put a new exhaust as he claimed. The exhaust wasn’t even the problem. Richard not only fixed the problem, but he sent me pictures and videos explaining everything the other mechanic had done and what needed to be fixed. He even caught that my radiator needed fixing, while other mechanics said my car didn’t need any work. Thanks to him my car is better then ever. 10/10 service. Definitely will be returning for any future issues or maintenance.

I was just at Viejo wish I asked for the mechanics name but he’s one of the most trustworthy mechanics. Very reasonable and honest and super convenient if you’re in the Wallington area. Don’t have one thing bad to say about him. I will be going to him from now on for any car maintenance or repairs.

Car basically shut off in the middle of the street one day, and he took me in immediately and found the issue. Also shares video and pictures of what the problem is, and what hes doing to fix it. Could have gotten me for $$$, but saw an issue that was a recall, and sent me to the dealership instead. So happy that I found him randomly, and the good reviews are really spot on. Thank you!

This is an amazing auto repair!! I’ve been with this place for years! I went one day thinking it was one problem, but he checked out my car and it was a completely different problem. Also saving me some money. He does amazing work and fast! Any problems I have with my car this is the auto repair shop I will go to. I highly recommend this auto repair and anyone!

Richard was a very kind man and didn’t lie to you about what else needed fixing. Very lucky to find his shop. He simplifies things to help you better understand what the problem is and why it may have happened. I needed my heat shield reattached and he did just that. Very reasonable prices as well.

Visited Viejo Auto Repair on 11/6/18. I came in asking for transmission fluid to be replaced as another mechanic had recommended the service. Richard gave my car a full inspection and explained that this could wait for another 10,000+ miles as its an expensive service. I appreciated he was both keeping an eye out of my wallet while ensuring my car was well maintained! He recommended some other routine maintenance, walked me through and sent pictures of all of his work. Would absolutely recommend this place!

I was referred to Richard by my BF and his family. I went in for brakes and tires and some lights on my dashboard. Richard was great! I went in because my AC wasnt working. He recommended running a diagnostic instead of just recharging the AC just in case there was another issue. He did find a leak, but determined it was too small to be an issue. After the recharge he noticed the fan was not running at all, and realized it wasnt even connected; it was probably left that way by the last mechanic I went to.Richard is very up front as far as expenses go. He will charge for checking or running diagnostics, but only with the intention of solving the right problem. I defenitely recommend.

I brought my wifes 2009 Nissan Rogue in to Viejo Auto Repair because of the great reviews on google. The Rogue would start shaking when accelerating between 40 mph and 50 mph and I was concerned for her safety. I had the dealer perform all recall work and it was still doing it. Richard was very thorough and explained all the different things that could be causing it. He spent a lot of time on it, repeatedly test driving the car until he was able to pinpoint and fix the problem! Not only that, he gave the car a full inspection and showed me other issues the car had that should be looked into as well, such as my brand new tires already showing uneven wear indicating an alignment issue. My prior mechanic was always so busy, these little things would often be missed until it became a bigger problem down the road. I am very grateful to Richard for being able to fix the Rogue and for the level of service that he provided. He really cares about his customers and their satisfaction with his work. I will definitely be coming back to Richard for all of my auto repair needs in the future.

Had my car in here for a CEL code and was addressed by Richard. Although the initial issues(idle surge and surging at acceleration) were not addressed prior to handing back the car to me which was a complete waste of my time. You would think that test driving the vehicle prior to releasing it to the customer would warrant a good review.

Originally went to infiniti to get my air condition repaired since wasnt get cold air and they did a whole diagnostic and couldnt give me a solid answer on what needed to be fix. Paid about one third of the cost what i wouldve paid at dealer. I brought in my VW 2006 Passat, because i had a check engine light. I called and he told me to come in ( which was convent because i didnt need an appointment). As soon as a I arrived he plugged in his computer to my car, to know exactly what was wrong. He does charge for Diagnostic, he charged me 70.00. ( Super cheap, because since it is a German car, i usually pay 120.00 for a Diagnostic). He spoke to me throughout the whole thing, he told me what he was doing, step by step. I wasnt clueless at all. He resolved my issue within 15 min of being there. I am definitely coming back, super nice guy too. He can speak both english and Spanish.

I am an ex-mechanic myself (just a hobby now), so I am very picky about who I let touch our cars. I found this shop by accident when my wife popped a tire nearby, and chatting with Richard revealed him to be a guy that really knows his stuff. Weve since moved away from Wallington, but whenever I need something done that I dont have the time, energy, or equipment to do myself, I still make the 30 minute drive out to have Richard do it. The guy is a real-deal mechanic, not just a parts replacer.
