It was my first experience dealing with an auto repair shop and I was expecting some of the worst outcomes because of the insurance companys and how they can delay repairs or not want to fix or pay for needed and necessary fixes.....with that being said...When I came to Caliber Collision it was a pleasant experience from the start, even dealing with the front desk ! Julie was Amazing!! With how she handled my questions and anxiety with being there and being somewhat, Im sure a burden .. She handled it like a pro!! Heather was awesome when dealing with me and the insurance group to where I wasnt having to deal with there Sales Talk, instead things were getting approved and dealt with in an expedited manner.... Thank you Heather! Also would like to mention the manager Kevin, you sir have an amazing team and it shows it comes from great leadership and mentor ship. And with the understanding and knowledge of the auto repair ins and outs by your team, it made my time and experience with my vehicle and your shop a great best outcome!! I would highly recommend Caliber Collision to my friends and family for the best outcome for there vehicles and time!! Thank you all for the great conversations, the help..the cherry on the top is my vehicle looks absolutely GREAT and better then when I got it!!: Thanks Caliber Collision
I want to give a huge thank you to the staff at this location, you are amazing!! Heather and Julie were absolutely amazing 🤩 I truly appreciate your time and effort to make this as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing repair.
Worst experience in my life. I was rear ended and Geico sent me there. Disgusting lady Heather looked down us from the beginning we met and during our conversation she was very rude and unprofessional. I had to see another man who is exactly the same attitude.Worst of all is they did not even fix the rear bumper, they told us they put new one but they only cleaned and polished the old rear bumper and it cost $1100.How unprofessional and disgusting liars they are? Unimaginable!!!!!!
I brought my car in with deep gouges (plural) from front headlight to back panel. The alignment had changed as well. Two of the guards were damaged and no longer matched those on the drivers side. One wheel was damaged (still driveable). They had the car for 12 days. Its an 11 year old Camry. When I got it back, it looked and was better than new! Though not a severe accident, there was 18 feet of damage plus scratches. Peter, my rep, informed me twice a week for the two weeks they had it (and looked for a wheel) as to the status and when they expected to finish. And, when I picked it up, it looked like the day I bought it new ... maybe better.
All whom I worked with here were very helpful and professional during my recent transactions. They described what was happening with precise detail, informed me right away about changes in when the car would be returned, and gave great information about how the car would be repaired. All employees here were kind and courteous. I’ve told everyone I know about their professional interactions. Thank you for amazing service Caliber collision!
Had to fix the front bumper of my car. They did a great job. It looks like new again and the it cost around half of a quote that I had from another auto repair.
I have a 2016 BMW that is no longer on warranty. My car was hit in a parking lot. Luckily the person had insurance-Travelers. I chose from to the recommended list of service shops. Caliber Collision on Main St in Walnut Creek was my choice. I was so impressed to pull into a modern garage that was clean and organized. The appointment was timely. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently. I liked the texts updates. My car was repaired like nothing happened. Travelers covered everything. I would definitely recommend this shop. I will keep it in mind for any future problems.
These guys are awesome. Took my car in to have a torn off mirror and paint scrape fixed. Job was done in only a few days. I was given updates on the progress with each new thing done and they even through in some extra work FOR FREE. The guy I talked to (forgot his name) was extremely friendly and helpful with explaining what was to be done. If you need work done check these guys out they are awesome!
Communication was great. Quality of work was great and they did the repair within the estimated time frame.Definitely would recommend their services.
From the beginning, service was slow. Took 2 weeks for a repair estimate. car promised back in 30 days. Took more like a 100 days. Should have listened to my instincts when car repair estimate took 2 weeks.
Amazing they do great job
Their service was excellent and they have a very nice texting service that kept me in the loop through the whole process. My service advisor was great as well, covering a couple of issues that came up.
Amazing work. I came in with what I thought was a totaled car, but ended up just needing some fixes. Caliber collision did an amazing job. Th guy I had Tim Collins did a great job with explaining what needed to be done and making sure it was done properly. Loved the results.
Very professional shop. Customer service and quality of work exceeded my expectations.
I was very impressed with the ease and quickness that caliber collision provided.
Loved my experience at caliber collision. The man I worked with Tim Collins was great. He told me what needed to be done how much it would cost and when I could get my car back. My car ended up being done early and I couldnt even tell that I had any damages prior to bringing it there. I highly recommended coming here if you have an accident and ask for Tim Collins he was amazing.
Great service and quick. The tall guy there I believe his name was Tim was extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend and use again.
Brought my Mercedes Benz CLK430 down to have the front bumper replaced and painted. Super happy with the work that was done! Definitely will be recommending all my friends and family for all paint and body shop needs.
I had a great experience! The man who helped me was very professional and friendly. He gave me an estimated time on when my car would be done and they got it done before that time. The quick service and friendly workers made it an amazing experience.
Friendly staff and very helpful. Easy from start to finish. Made my appointment, scheduled my repair and came in for the work. Easy! Thanks!
Heather and the staff at Caliber were the best. From making an appointment for an estimate all the way through getting my car back they were extremely helpful. The repairs were done on schedule and as promised. Though I hope I dont have go through an accident again, if I do Id definitely take it back to Caliber!
I was hit on my passenger side by another car badly and was afraid my car was going to have to be in the shop for weeks, but I was reassured with the guy I was working with that he would try to get it done as soon as possible. He was honest and the quality that was done on my car was amazing. It didnt take long till I was back driving my car that was good as new. Thank you for your amazing work guys.
I brought my dads truck in and they did an excellent job! The quality was amazing and it didnt take too long. The people I worked with were very professional and gave me all the information I needed to get the repair done in a timely manner.
I had a young lady help me, Heather and she was wonderful. A joy to talk to and very helpful and explained what they were going to do. Had a great experience with your company
Thank you Caliber Collision on Main Street in Walnut Creek. Your staff is extremely courtesy, was a pleasure to work with. The entire process went smoothly. My car looks like it came off the showroom floor. I was truly amazed.
A good amount of people know how frustrating getting into a car accident can be. I didn’t know this feeling until recently. Brian and his team catered to everything I needed to include information, and swift updates. I was in good hands the communication was prodigious . I was in a front end collision and they had everything back to 100% looking better then oem in 4 days. Would most definitely recommend Brian and his team for anyone who needs repairs due to an accident with their vehicle.
Excellent. Highly recommended.
Recently had an unplanned trip here, and it went completely different than I anticipated. My car was hit, and had some serious damage and wasn’t driveable. From the time I called Caliber on Main St, everything from start to finish was as seamless as possible. From working with my insurance company, to getting me a rental while my car was being fixed, the consistent communication, as well as the car being done 2 days earlier than anticipated. I was blown away, never thought this could be so simple. When I picked up, I asked to speak to the GM to give feedback. Brian W. couldn’t have been a nicer or more professional guy! Hopefully I won’t be back soon, but if I am, I won’t take my car anywhere else.
Did my accident repair and some extra stuff. Really nice job on my F-j 2007. Look brand new...Very good management. Very good staff.
The girl at the front desk was incredibly rude and seemed to take joy in telling me that my car would take a few days to be fixed when it was only there for an insurance verification.
After returning my car to Cooks after it was painted to factory after 20 years of aging on just the front of the car, they corrected that paint issue in a timely manner. I am now happy with the results. Thanks for handling this professionally.
Excellent body work!
Competent and friendly staff. Flawless work. Great at communicating whats happening with my car.
DO NOT USE this nightmare company. They have been purchased by Abra and are no longer a locally owned repair facility. Its no longer about the customer. Its now all about the bottom line and making money. After my experience today I will never use this company. I had an estimated performed by USAA and I called Cooks Abra to schedule an appointment to bring the car in for repair. I called the local phone number but was connected to a person in another part of the country. She asked if I had an estimate and when I replied yes she told me to have the estimate sent to the shop. She told me the shop would call to schedule the appointment for the repair once they have the estimate and know what parts to order. The local shop called the next day and scheduled an appointment 2 days out. I had a friend drive with me to the rental car agency and then to Cooks Abra to drop off the damaged car. When I arrived at Cooks Abra I was told they no longer accepted estimates from USAA and had to do their own estimate. They said the appointment for today was just to get an estimate and I would have to bring the car back the following week for the actual repairs. When I told them about my conversation with their service desk they said sorry but the call center representative did not communicate correctly to me because today was for an estimate only. I told them since they screwed up they should be covering the extra days on the rental car but they refused. The shop manager came out of his office and said I am not going to pay for your rental car because of our mistake. Cooks Abra idea of an estimate is sending a woman from the front office outside to take pictures (USAA had already sent them pictures with the estimate). No shop personnel even looked at my car for their estimate. Because of their mistake my friend and I had to return the rental car. I lost 2.5 hours of work because of Cooks Abra. They did absolutely nothing to fix the situation. I highly recommend you find a locally owned and operated repair shop and do NOT use Cooks Abra. They are very unprofessional.
Brought my car into cooks on April 4th 2018 and after 6 months, $23,000, 2 body shops and multiple visits to the dealership for mechanical repairs, the car is finally in a drive-able state.TLDR: Cooks is a joke, and I am informing everyone I know and the car community to avoid their business. So I brought my car into cooks for an extensive front end collision repair and was originally quoted around $12k and for the car to be returned in about a month or so. My claim handler was Morris, who was relatively responsive at first, but also seemed very unsure of himself. I had also asked that a few special request repairs be made to the front bumper and he assured me that they would be completed, well get back to this.Fast forward a few weeks and the car has undergone part of the disassembly process, the quote gets bumped up to around $18k. Cooks doesnt do much, if any mechanical work, so they sub-contract a engine removal and transmission removal to the dealership across the street where it sits for the better part of the next month. At this point its been about 2 months and my concerns are mounting as Cooks doesnt even have the vehicle and Ive been out of a car for over two months. I call into Cooks a few times to get an update, but conveniently everyone seems to be out of the office, or on lunch every time I call. I decide to stop in and get an update, and what do you know theres people to give me information. They begin by pointing fingers at the dealership saying they are dragging their feet, etc etc. So I decide to stop by the dealership, being its 50 yards away. And the dealership says the Cooks wasnt doing their end of the work, etc etc. Classic he said, she said. One thing leads to another and now I find myself having to go to the body shop, PHYSICALLY, every 2-3 days for updates. And what do you know, progress is finally being made on the car. During the later part of the visits, I inspect the body panels and inform them of blemishes and the special requests that I had made months prior. They assure me all of these things will be fixed by the time the vehicle is returned. Mind you, Morris, the one supposedly in charge of my claim, is only present maybe 20% of the time and often has to refer to others for information because he doesnt have it.Fast forward over a dozen visits to the shop and dealership, false promises on delivery date, and THIS IS WHEN THINGS REALLY GET GOOD....The final payment amount comes out to $23,181 and this is the quality of work you can expect from them at that price. The car that was returned to me had a misaligned bumper and hood, the paint on the right fender was two tints dark and was chipped heavily in the corner, the hood was unpolished and the front end was full of swirl marks, there were innumerable paint blemishes, the wheel they sub-contracted to get repainted was silver instead of gunmetal, there was a creak when making u-turns and the front right caliper was leaking brake fluid, the washer fluid reservoir was not mounted, also major suspension components were mounted UPSIDE DOWN. Oh and to add insult to injury, there was trash throughout my car.Of course, Morris nor anyone important was in the office when I got the call to pick up the car, so I voiced my concerns to one of the workers who wrote it on a post it and placed it on Morriss desk who was supposedly going to call me the next day. They tell me I can leave the car with them to fix the issues, but its been over 3 months and Im done with their lies.Immediately, I contact insurance and they send out TWO claims assessors to go over the vehicle with me separately. BOTH agree the vehicles paint is in terrible condition on separate occasions. So, if you would like to STICK IT to the man whilst shooting yourself in the foot. Let Cooks milk your insurance for all they are worth while delivering you an unsafe and shoddy vehicle.PS: Insurance is currently trying to REVERSE payment to Cooks for their terrible work. yeah its THAT bad.
Everyone seemed knowledgeable. Very courteous personal.
Great service, Fast
They aren’t willing to put OEM parts on your car and they will fill your car with body filler instead of fixing it the correct way they don’t check the frame for damages they just fix over it do not take your car here unless you want junkyard used parts
Great work
Worse experience my wife took the car there a ford fusion 2014 we drop the car off on monday they said it will be ready for friday, on friday they contact her that the car is not even pain and she have to wait until Monday so by monday they where waiting for some brackets and they didnt know if the car was going to be ready, by Tuesday they call her that the car is ready and when she shows up they havent even mount the part in the car so she wait they said they fix everything she takes the car without any knowledge and i get home from work just to find out the parts dont even line up i wont recommend this place to any of my friends
