I heard about Roesbery Car Care through an Instagram ad and took advantage of a special they were running. Since then they have reached out to me when they are running new specials and made me feel like they really valued my business. They are a friendly bunch who always call me by my name. Though I dont know a lot about cars, I feel like they are running a very trustworthy, fair, and honest operation. Been servicing my car here for a little over a year now and so far Im very happy!

My sons car developed a mid-fire on his 2016 dodge neon, also had an ABS sensor wire ripped off after having a rear tire blowout. Communication from the office clerk was great in the process. They clued me in to the price changes along the way and the repair costs never changed at the final payment which I appreciated. I’ve had a good experience with them, personally. My stepsons car, however, we are still experiencing a dead battery issue after 1000’s spent on this as well as other unrelated necessary repairs. I think he may have a small parasitic draw on one of the circuits. Not necessarily a fault of Roesbery. He’s reluctant at taking it back because it’s been so discouraging to him. Overall, I have no problems taking any of my cars here. Great reviews, too.

Friendly, experienced, and good value. This is the first time the car has been touched by a service other than the dealership service. After a few incidental connections with Roesbery (through friends), I decided to give them a chance with a full brake service. I couldnt be more pleased. The brakes actually work smoother than they did when I bought the car as the original owner from the dealership with under 50 miles on it. I will return for ongoing service.

I was most pleased with the service provided by Rosebury Auto Care. The service technician took the time to explain the recommended repairs and also helped to identify which ones were necessary and which ones could wait. This helped me make an informed decision about the work to be done on my car. The team did a great job and were friendly to work with.

I moved and was looking for a great place to repair my car. I was referred to this place and decided to give them a call. They are super nice and knowledgeable. I went in for an oil change and was also given a list of issues I needed to take care. I will definitely come back again.

Excellent service. Went in for oil change and air/cabin filter replacement. Also asked them to check the belts and hoses.My car needed the internal timing belt replaced because my car is 9 years old. Because of the pandemic I have just been focused on mileage.They did a fantastic job and saved me from catastrophic engine damage. This was the first time taking my car here. I will be back because of the excellent service. If fact my wife’s car is there now being serviced.

I needed to get a regular service completed as my Acura ILX Hybrid was due for an A1 service. Mila at the front desk was really helpful and set me up with an appointment first things Monday morning. I had some odd issues with my AC over the heatwave weekend and they just did a quick check of pressure and found no issue but gave me tips in the future if it happens again or is more consistent the next steps I can take. I’m so glad I found this shop and it’s walking distance to my place so I don’t need to worry about finding a ride to and from!

The tech went through and made sure nothing would trigger a fail. For instance we had just had the battery changed and when checking in they asked if we had the battery changed recently. I replied yes and they suggested we put at least 100 miles on it prior to the test. We did that and passed the test. Thank you for the heads up on that!!!!

Everyone was awesome! They were fast, thorough and the repairs seem excellent. They also kept me informed through the whole process.

I found out about Roesbery through a Facebook group. Mila was a pleasure, bubbly personality which really sets this place apart. Not many service establishments have female energy like hers! The mechanics checked out my car before a big trip making sure all my fluid levels were good and their only recommendation was to do an oil change p, but even that was optional....I went ahead and did it just to be on the safe side. They recommended I come in after the trip for another once over, but other than that said “this car is cleeeaannn!” I’ll be back!

Rosebery has been great with their service. I got a full synthetic oil change that was done within 45 minutes and for a more than reasonable price. And the staff is very personable and friendly. This shop gives what I call traditional hospitality, something that most of these newer shops don’t have anymore. I felt like I could trust this Rosebery from the moment I stepped in to speak with someone.

I had them do a smog check for my car. They are honest and efficient. However, in following up with them for a copy of the smog test results, I couldn’t get a hold of them. I found out their phone was out of service which is why I couldn’t get a hold of them. They printed a copy of the test results and I picked it up today.

My Toyota Prius had 160k miles on it and had the Red Triangle and check engine light turned on. Thought I had to replace the hybrid battery. Took it in to Roesbery and they detected it was the Inverter Cooling pump causing the issue. Prompt and courteous service and my Prius is back on the road problem free and saved me a lot of money. Highly recommend Roesbery for all your vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

I took my girlfriends car in for an oil change and an overall inspection after getting a quote from the BMW dealership. My girlfriend was nervous because shed only taken her car to the dealership for any and all past maintenance repairs and was hesitant to go anywhere else. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My truck had a check engine light and I was very worried it wouldn’t pass smog. The technicians quickly found the problem and repaired my truck. Very thankful to Roesbery Car Repair and will definitely be coming back to this five star shop.

I was in for some general maintenance when Roesbery found that I needed a full brake job (I thought it was just dust as it didnt squeal all the time). I was grateful that they fully checked my truck. This time I was in for a full rear tail light assembly replacement and the check engine light came on. Roesbery did a full diagnostic, determined the issue, called me with an estimate for the repair. I okd it and they got right on it. Got my truck back it tip top condition. Have and will recommend they to friends and family.

Brought in our sons 2000 528i for oil leaking . . . Roesbery staff did a very thorough evaluation and kept us informed all along the way. The technical service to repair the car was terrific but their customer service/communication was even better!!

I went in to have the smog check on my 2004 Toyota Corolla. I received the coupon in the mail. Made an appointment on a Saturday at 8:30 am. They were not that busy yet. I only waited for 15 mins. Mila was nice and very comfortable to talk with. Will go back again for my next service. Will recommend Roesbery Car Care to my friends. Good job.

I just needed a smog test. Everything went well, meaning I passed. 20 minutes out the door. Didn’t get the guy at the desk’s name but he was great, no issues.

They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and very friendly. What most impressed me is that they only did what was needed and did not just charge me for services because they happened to be in the book.

Not great service from the start prices were extremely high . They said that a fuel pump cost $ 500.00 .total cost of replacement almost $900.00 . I looked up prices of fuel pumps on line and they ranged from $79.00 to 360.00 . Most were in the low $100.00 . I picked it up from there shop And they did something to my door . It would not close correctly so I had to take i my car back . They couldn’t fix it so directed me to a body shop . It was fixed . I feel they knew I was in a bind and I feel they took advantage . I will not go there again ...The only person I spoke with was the secretary. For that kind of money the person that worked on my car should of taken a moment to go over all that was done . ... . Over all it wasn’t a good experience for me . I would not recommend this shop as there prices are to high . Also the secretary didn’t give me back my debit card and never called me to let me know she had it . She had it set aside However never told anyone she had it or where she put it . So it was a bit of a issue getting it back as she had Monday off and didn’t communicate anything to anyone . That is not how you run a business . She knew she had it and should of let me know . Just poor service all the way around

After replacing several parts myself and still encountering problems I took my truck to Rosebury Car Care. I went to Rosebury expecting to get quality and fair service. I got neither. The mechanic chose to ignore everything I had told him about the issue and replaced the same $30 part I had already replaced. The mechanic smiled and said he reset the check engine light and I was good to go. Less than a week later the check engine light popped back on for the same issue. I was charged $300 for a $30 part I already replaced and was functioning properly. Not only do the Mechanics not listen to the customers, the owner defends his incompetent mechanics. I wouldnt trust this ace to do an oil change. Dont waste your money with this unprofessional establishment.

I took my 2003 Honda CRV for its smog check. Roesbery’s had a coupon that I used. I was in there for 20 min and my car passed! Roesbery was very professional and quick with the smog check. I highly recommend them!

I needed to get my truck smog checked and had received a coupon in one of the mailer packets so decided to give Roesbery a try. I used their online appointment requester, made an appointment and brought it in. They were on time, smogged my truck quickly and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. All staff I encountered were friendly and courteous, and I’m assuming they were smiling under their masks.

Overall Im happy with their service and prices, they do tend to try to upsell a lot. So if you are the type who relies only on their expert opinion, you will be paying a lot more than you actually need to. Will still use them in the future, just for specific things I know I need to do.

Mike and his team took very good care of me as first time Customer. I was having some overheating issues on a 2012 Ford Fusion and they replaced a cracked thermostat housing, changed my hoses, thermostat, and coolant and got me back on the road straight away. I have found a new shop for my automotive needs.

Fantastic local business-extremely reliable and by far the best bang for your buck Ive come across! My folks have raved about them for years, but Ive only recently had reason to stop in-for a tire replacement and oil change.For complete tire replacement and realignment and their quote was almost $300 less than the dealership and beat out all the other facilities in the area by a large margin. Mike and his team did a great job explaining all the options and have gone above and beyond to help me sort everything out. The oil change prices are also quite competitive, and you can be sure theyll do the job right. They also do a free point inspection.Theyve also been really accommodating with scheduling and communication. Cant recommend this place highly enough!

I was visiting from out of town and my Mazda Tribute started to die on my on the drive up. By the time we arrived to Walnut Creek the Check Engine Light was on. Rosebery Car Care was one of the only shops that was open the day after Thanksgiving. They inspected my car and knowing that I could not stay in town for an extended period they overnight shipped all the parts my car needed so that I could be on the road by the end of the next day. I appreciated the shops consideration of my needs as well as the time and attention they gave me. Although I will likely never see them again because of great distance between us I still left with the feeling that I was just as important and appreciated as one of their regular customers.

If your ever in trouble stop by Rosebery car care!!!! Me and my wife drove to the city today and on our way home the check engine light came on in bumper to bumper traffic! We contacted our Hyundai dealership and were told we could drop it off over night or to find somewhere else, due to it being 4:30 on a Friday night!!!! We located Rosebery car care and there customer service was soo unexpectedly amazing!!!! So welcoming and ready to help!! All hands on deck to assist us so we could get back on the road safely!!! They diagnosed the car and was able resolve the problem in no time!!! Simple fix and didn’t even charge us!!! Of course we tipped them but they were reluctant to accept it!!! Thank you guys so much for all your help!!!

My mother’s car had an ODB2 sensor preventing a successful smog check. Mike diagnosed the problem, walked me through the process of doing a drive cycle to reset the sensor, and then smog checked the car. I went in panicked that I couldn’t get it checked in time, and left a happy customer.

LADIES BEWARE!!!!! Went here to get an estimate on my 2013 Acura RDX. Referred by a friend which I mentioned upon dropping off my vehicle. Keep in mind, I have out of state plates. Mike initially told me over the phone, my car would need $5,500 worth of work?!?!?!? I had two options...I could either pay to have the work done or sell my car!!!! When asked what could wait to be repaired he told me the repairs couldnt wait, it was more or less a safety issue. I then asked that an estimate be emailed with specifics indicating what was recommended maintenance and what was actually failing on the car. I received an estimate of $2500 for a tranny flush, brakes, shocks, rotors, and a wheel bearing!!!! On the initial estimate, I was told my spark plugs needed replaced which I already had replaced a few months ago! This is absolutely ridiculous! Needless to say, I took my car somewhere else and saved over $1200! Also the wheel bearing was not damaged at all but just so happened to be a $200 dollar part!In short, Im absolutely disgusted with this place and dont trust these people farther than I can throw them. Its a shame this still goes on in this day and age and women are preyed upon in this way. I may not know much about car repairs but I wasnt born yesterday either! I can certainly do a Google search and ask friends for advice. Its like the #metoo phenomenon in regards to women being taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs!!!!Times must be tough at Roesbery Auto! LADIES OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I highly recommend Pep Boys Auto in Pleasant Hill! They were my saving grace!

$800.00 tune up: (Be careful with these guys, they will try & rip you off).Brought the vehicle in for a tune up. I suggested the O2 sensor was bad and was curious if I had a vacuum leak.$165.00 - just to hook up the diagnostic machine - little high but I needed toknow if I had a vacuum leak.$270 - to replace the O2 sensor.$365 - to replace 6 spark plugs. ~$10 each plug, so $300 labor for that.TOTAL $800.00 (All I can say is, wow!)They claimed I had a worn SERPENTINE BELT and that it would cost me 1 hour labor to replace it (so, $165 labor+$50 for the belt = $215). Well Ive replaced that belt, and it took me only 10 min. and Im not even a mechanic. And I could have done it in 5 min, if I had not had to spent the first 5 min figuring out how to turn the tensioner. So, I told him to leave the belt alone, several times!Later, when I looked at the belt, it was in perfect condition!They told me the brake pads were worn, but that the rotors were too warn to machine, so the rotors would have to be replaced (ha-you know they would charge at least $250 per rotor!), which is odd since those rotors had never been turned before. Told him not to worry about the brakes! (They are fine BTW ).There were some other things they wanted to do - all over priced of course.I had to argue way too much with the guy on the phone about it. He clearly thought he could rip me off though, until i called him out on it.Oh yeah,...they checked the tire pressure - lol...like I needed that. Is that really a selling point to anyone but a complete moron??
