What is there to say. Whole Foods is top of the line for grocery stores. Produce and meats are always fresh.Store and restrooms are cleanGrocery Clerks are always politeThe only thing I do not like is High prices. You get good what you pay for.

I’ve been coming to this location for a while, but after today I’m done with this Whole Foods. This place is always packed and there’s never any baggers; this location is chronically understaffed. But my breaking point today was not only was there no baggers to help, but the checker was super rude and didn’t help me bag at all. I had $200 worth of groceries, so it took some time. She sat there and watched me and then for some reason rudely shoved my receipt in my face like I was taking too long. Just unacceptable on so many levels. Thankfully there’s plenty of competition now with descent grocers; going elsewhere now.

This is a nice location, with ample parking. rotisserie, pizza, and normally hot bar.

I usually come here to get lunch meat and ingredients for dishes to cook from scratch. Everything is fresh, clean, and for what its worth, high quality. The downside is that the store is always congested. The reason looks like there arent enough check out lanes available. Its pretty hard to navigate through store because you constantly have to cut through long lines and crowded isles.

We shop here often, as it’s the closest to our home- just wish they’d get decent sour beers. Kettle sours are not the same- and why would you carry so many IPAs, and then add sour IPA? It’s too much. Please get a decent mix of BA sour beers. Thanks.

Clean, well stocked. Good selection of herbal supplements, specialty cheeses, and beer. Right along the bike path, and a good place to stop and refuel.

Everything is awesome and fresh! BUT!!! BUTCHER SHOP customer service team are handling few people who has bad attitude. Today, when I asked them to cut chicken and pack bone and boneless pieces sepratly, I don’t remember his name but he said “Should I also cook it for you?”. #Badservice

Compact in size compared to newer WF locations.Has everything what you can find in a Whole Foods - bakery, deli, salad bar, Allegro Coffee Bar, Pizza Bar, olive bar, cheese bar, fresh meat and seafood counter, floral department, and produce area as you walk in.Con - parking lot is small and tight for the amount of people who come here to shop.

We go this place at least once a week. Clean and good selection of food. definetly recomended

Eventhough prices are high, they offer quality.

I like their selection of cheeses, chocolates, nut butters, & mochi. Only buy the Pistachio Nut Clusters if you are in possession of will power. :)

I dont come here too often to be perfectly honest, but when I do its always a pleasant experience. They have a deli section, cooked food, bakery, fresh produce, baby stuff, fresh flowers, plants and herbs. It is just a plethora of things. A sitting area outside where you can sit outside and enjoy your food or baked goods that you have purchased in store. I have to say It is a little pricey though in comparison to other grocery stores but sometimes it is worth paying that little extra for wholesome food. For those of you who drive,there seems to be ample parking space, I do not drive I usually walk down. Worth a visit if you have not already been. Lots of organics for the clean eaters.

Whoever Nicole is at Whole Foods treated us terribly. We have multiple encounters with her treating us poorly due to having a service animal. He is registered ESA. She could have handled things much better and should be under review.

I was discriminated against horribly at this store. A white man was at the hot bar and he was scooping his food without gloves or anything. He suggested the cauliflower (curry) so I thought I would get the same! I went to go scoop my food and got yelled at for not wearing gloves or hand sanitizer. I am a mixed middle eastern lesbian (visibly). My mom, who is white and straight, said let me try. Guess who wasnt asked to wear gloves or hand sanitizer? The straight white people. The employee was Miriam. I am disgusted with this store after all the money I spend. How can discrimination go on in todays world? I will be avoiding as much as possible and files a complaint with corporate but I doubt theyll care. I am beyond livid!Edit: as per your response, I already complained to the manager and he did absolutely nothing. Shameful

Love their bakery and hot prepared food bar. As a grocery store though the prices are absurdly high and they have a lousy selection of sparkling water (seltzer in NYC).

I enjoy the fresh produce and meat selection. The employees are nice and helpful.

We came to this location specifically because we called and asked if they had a certain product. Once we got there of course they don’t actually sell it so it was a waste of time. Other than that I generally do love Whole Foods even though obviously have many things that are overpriced for the sake of being overpriced.

Went an hour before closing expecting less people, I was wrong. Checkout line was long but cashier was nice and attentive.

Four stars instead of five because Amazon bought them. My least favorite things about Whole Foods showed up after that purchase. The staff gets five stars, as they are kind, friendly, helpful, and they are a pleasure to deal with. They also agree with my Amazon assessment, but dont tell Amazon!!

As expected, this place is packed. Went there for lunch and it was great. Will be back again.

Forget Safeway. You can buy better food here for less money. Yes, they do have lots of very expensive items, but they have something at every pricepoint -- and their cheapest is much better than anything in Safeway.

We go there for there excellent food they have there carnita tacos are huge there pot roast is excellent just needs veggies and potatoes loved there out door seating but no more since covid there vegan donuts taste like all the sugar donuts do there dessert are to die for and the baked goods melt in you mouth and the employees are helpful smiling faces .

Was great to see all my ex co-workers staying busy and even though they have masks on I know they are smiling. Love the markers on the floor to keep everyone shopping there safe and aware. Every department there in whole foods was very funny, friendly and helpful. Thanks again I love coming to whole foods they got what I need.

Great little Whole Foods! The bakery and staff are especially great. Ordered a cake last min (less than 24 hrs notice) and while it is not standard they happily accepted the order and made suggestions. Super nice staff and delicious cake (at a good price). Will definitely be ordering all family birthday cakes from here.

The selections and the store itself inside is great like most while foods but it kinda ends there. Why do while foods find themselves in the worst parking lots known to mankind. This one is exceptionally poor. Very good staff who try and go out of their way but be prepared to shout horrible expletives when you attempt to drive around there. Enjoy!!

The tres leches cake is my favorite. Delicious prepared food here. I love the Hawaiian wings and the Mac and cheese. Great selection of unique products! This is the original Walnut Creek shop...where it all started for me.

I love this Whole Foods. It’s laid out logically so it’s easy to find everything you’d want to buy. The staff is so so friendly and helpful and the produce is always fresh. They keep the buffet area clean and the dine in pizzeria is a nice touch.

If you like to eat healthy, whole foods will be a good place to shop. It can be a little pricey, but when it comes to your health, pricey can be worth it. Their lunch counter buffet is varied and excellent, I end up eating a huge lunch when I dine at WF and recommend it as a solid choice for a quick yet filling lunch option

How can anyone not love Whole Foods. Yes. The prices are a little higher than other grocery stores, but the quality of their products and customer service is higher than the rest. Their staff has always been friendly, helpful and more than willing to lend a hand with me, I’ve never received a rude comment on the phone or in person.The layout and atmosphere of their store is always light bright and airy. Clean, or in the midst of being cleaned. Constant wiping of counters, all with a friendly smile or even a nice salutation, sometimes even a quick chat.While I’m not able to be a frequent shopper, the times I have been able to buy a few things, has been pleasant. And I have been able to try new products that haven’t been found at any other grocer.The downtown location, is a bit more trickier in parking, the lot is a lot smaller as its shared parking with other retailers, but just follow the arrows and don’t go against the flow, and everything will be just fine. From what I recall, there’s one way in and out, so just be careful.

I love eating the food from Whole Foods. This location is very nice, clean, good layout and it has friendly staff. Its nice to come here and shop.Every once in a while I enjoy just sitting at one of their outside tables and drinking a smoothie.

Pricey and healthy are the words I would use to describe Whole Foods. I came to this location when they first opened. It was crazy!! The parking lot can be tricky to navigate.

This Whole Foods in Walnut Creek is incredibly nice. Definitely your higher-end grocery store, but all of their items are high quality and often worth it. Love their café and deli foods as well.

The people that work here are just fabulous! They are always eager to help and know just what Im looking for. One of my favorite shopping destinations.

I was overcharged on two items. I called the store when I got home and they told me the only way they would refund my money is if I came back to the store today. Very disappointed!!!

Busy, as this store is most of the time. Takes a bit to navigate.

The 4-5 workers who straightened out the frozen aisle close to the end of the day ignored me as I tried to walk down the frozen aisle. I could not pass these workers - they would not let me pass, they were oblivious to me . With all the frozen doors open & workers standing out in the aisle, I had to go down another aisle & come in at the other end. This happened around 8:30 pm. Lynn

Prices are outragous, as to be expected with Whole Foods, but the reason I dont go to this particular store often is because the parking is an actual nightmare. Beautiful store. I come here for the fresh take and bake pizzas. They are really big and pretty cheap!

In fairness I must give 3 stars because the food is exactly what I want from Whole Foods.The reason I am only giving three stars is that EVERY time (I mean 6 times out of the last 6 times I have shopped there, I have been overcharged at the checkout. I have started to photograph prices of goods as I shop, in order to clarify with the checkout person as Im being rung up. Small amounts add up. Today there were 3 mistakes on my bill. The ground beef I bought had a sign on it that said $4.99 a lb. I was charged $5.49. The pears I bought were on sale for $1.79 for Prime members, I missed the mistake at the checkout and was charged $2.50 a lb. (I only noticed that on my receipt and had bought 2 lbs). The onions I bought were clearly and incorrectly priced at 79c a lb and were actually $1.18 a lb. On a shop a few months ago, I was massively overcharged when I happened to need a large quantity of onions. I bought about 5 lbs of conventionally grown onions and was charged $12.00 and change instead of less than $6. I noticed after checkout and was given the onions gratis by customer service. I do not mind the prices at Whole Foods but I do reserve the right when I shop to choose carefully what I purchase -and my decisions are sometimes based on price. Very frustrated. BTW this is not a new problem post-Amazon purchase of WF. This used to happen before, but less frequently. Please get it right Whole Foods.I can only assume this is happening to many many customers on a daily basis - who like myself until recently, do not take the trouble to scrutinize their bills.

Clean store and good food ready to go! I stopped in for dinner and found fresh, hot, piping food at their steam table. Salad bar is always stocked with super fresh greens and the like. Priced reasonably at $8.99 per pound. This is a place you cant go wrong.

Weve been shopping here since the day they bought out Good Nature Grocery, in fact I handled the ribbon cutting ceremony as an Ambassador for the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce. Thank God Amazon bought them because their prices were outrageous and now theyre 20% less, sometimes the savings is greater. Good selection, good prices, the best produce, great prepared food section, terrific bakery, wonderful grass fed grass finished meats. We refill our water containers here weekly with distilled water.

If blindfolded and told to put something in a shopping basket, you would pretty much be guaranteed to have grabbed something of great quality, but not necessarily the lowest cost compared to other stores. Because of this, if you find something on sale here most likely it will be something of very good value for the cost. This is particularly true in their meat department. Additionally, their hot food and fresh deli offerings are at restaurant quality as well. Get a slice at the fresh pizzia counter, or pick up something to take home. Its very good if you dont want to cook for yourself.

On the smaller side, but with good variety. Centrally located close to shopping and restaurants. I’ve never had issues parking which is surprising considering the lot is not big. The pizza station is awesome. Lacking a bar area.

One of their better locations. . They have an older brick oven so the pizza is much better than at newer stores. Checkout people are friendly and efficient. If its crazy you can park in the giant mall garage across the street. 3 hrs free parking.

Excellent selection of organic produce, grains, eggs, meat, and dairy products. They sell organic chicken livers at the meat counter for $4 a pound; but you have to make a special point of asking for them, since they don’t advertise them anywhere — and they’re not always in stock.I used to buy excellent organic apples of different varieties at the produce section. But it seems that, since Amazon took over Whole Foods, they’ve lowered both the price and quality of their organic apples. Now they seem to sell huge batches of organic apples shipped from Chile, which often strike me as neither fresh nor tasty.

During this special days with covid 19, after I did my shopping, feel hungry, went to Whole Food, brought sushi and chicken legs for my lunch and breakfast. They are always friendly and nice.

This is one of the best Whole Foods in the area. Good selection, good prepared and hot foods. They say its unwise to shop hungry, so I eat lunch here and then I go shopping. Getting a hot meal here or something at the salad bar is quite affordable.This is also definitely the place to come for all your nut milks, gluten free clothing (just joking about the clothing - the label is applied to everything these days! - I have Celiacs) vegan cheese and vegetarian frozen meals. Plus much much more.If you like healthy eating and you can afford it then this Whole Foods is for you.

Always find parking. Prices have gone up since Amazon came into the picture. Choices are less in organic foods as well. Some items are carried at the regular Whole Foods Market and some items are at 365 Whole Foods in Concord. I was much happier with Whole Foods Market before Amazon came in.

If youre a hipster or foodie that loves words like vegan, organic, gluten free and whole grain, all natural everything free and such, this is the place for you. Expect to pay two to three times as much for anything here as you would in a regular grocery store. Café and soups are good, nice beer and wine selection, and fruits and fresh produce are outstanding, if you can afford it. Store is always clean, staff is always friendly. For the prices you pay here, they know they better be.

The best Wholefoods store ever. The food seems to be much better there than at Walnut Creek. Also there is more variety over there. Or so it seems.UPDATE March 16 2021Walnut Creek Ca Wholefoods hot bar deli section . The food is absolutely horrible.It seems the past year 2020 the food has become increasingly fly garbage. Bland and overcooked. Today I tried the turkey meatballs and also grilled vegetables to check if any improvements. NONE.I hope a manager reads this. Please reevaluate your cooks. Or chefs.You lost my business. I have been shopping WC Nob Hill and Safeway. All year 2020 and 2021.

I love shopping here. Even though the location on Ygnacio Valley is more convenient for me, this store has a slightly different selection of product and I tend to find what I need or want every time. The butcher crew is very friendly and we really enjoy getting salads at the salad bar along with a slice of fresh baked pizza or a sandwich. The parking lot here will forever be a challenge, but its not a deterrent to shopping at this store.

One of my go to’s for a quick lunch during the week. They have a burrito bar, pretty decent hot food bar/salad bar, and wood fired pizza. The parking here can be a bit of a nightmare, especially during lunchtime. They have outside seating for you to enjoy your lunch.

Love to eat! We walked here for breakfast all the time. I enjoyed the walk but most of all I enjoyed the time with my daughters. This Whole Foods is small and difficult to get in and out of. I like the other Whole Foods more as far as access.

Limited stock. It is tricky to get to this complex because, it is accessible by a small side road. Always crowded and lots of traffic. Very hard to find parking alot of the times. Small and narrow. It would be hard to get a big SUV in there and to get out easily. This complex was not planned well at all. In an emergency, you wouldnt be able to drive out of there since there is that one small exit.

Well kept grocery store with all the specialty items you would look for. A nice seafood section. An excellent source for sustainably source or grass fed meats.However, the parking lot is a DISASTER and not well designed.

Unique and original grocery. Largest amount of GMO free, gluten-free, organic items. One interesting thing about Whole Foods is that they guarantee no artificial colors our flavors, no high fructose corn syrup and no trans fat in absolutely everything they carry.

Although walnut Creek is over crowded and highly conjested, I do like this store. You can get just about everything you want here. Great desserts, fresh made pizza, burritos, sandwiches are.just a few things I love. BEER! Awesome selection of beers and wines.

Was told to expect an interview call on Tuesday Oct 3rd 2017. No call came and my day was wasted. I dont drive, so i stayed home to be available. I could have spent my day with my family who all live in Alameda County.So far not impressed with their communication skills.
