This is the second time they don’t show up. When I called saying that this was the second time they don’t show that guys starts screaming at me saying that they did show up and left an invoice under my door (I live on a second floor and the main door to the building can’t be open without a key or being buzzed in) when I tell him that he doesn’t need to yell he continues to scream saying that he’s yelling because I called to complain and that he’s rather speak to the “man of the house”. Now I’m a manufactured engineer in her early 30s so not the first time I deal with a guys like that, but “they man of the house” are you for real? If im the one calling assume im the one incharge of the situation. Then he acted like he was doing me some kind of favor but rescheduling another time. I told him not to worry because I wasn’t interested in doing business with them, since their word on actually showing up was clearly worthless and quite frankly he NEEDS to learn not to be so Hysterical and learnt to control your emotions on the phone.
We had people working in the house and somebody turned off the second gas shut off in the furnace room. Nobody knew about it and obviously the dryer continued working for 3 hours until we realized there was a problem with the dryer. Called a repair technician and after close to 2 hours he couldnt repair it. Wanted to replace several parts and we decided not to go for that idea. Then we called American Appliance Service and Billy came to look at it. He checked and was not too convinced the gas valve was the problem but he gave us the option to try it and if it did not work then we wouldnt pay for it. We ordered the part and got it immediately. He came back and when he noticed that there was no gas coming from the line, so at that point he knew there was another shut off besides the one close to the dryer. He found the second shut off and turned the gas on and BINGO the dryer worked. He did not install the gas valve and he did not charge for this incident. Billy is very knowledgeable and honest. Highly recommend him for any of your appliance needs.
Dana is always Fair and treats the customers right. I have purchased used appliances from them and relied on them for fixing appliances. Would not hesitate to call.
Top to bottom outstanding experience! Had a washer dryer set delivered for less than the price of a single piece at a box store. In the first week I even ran into a little issue of a blown fuse in the dryer to which they came out the next day and took care of in 10 minutes. Ive already saved the equivalent of the price not going to the laundromat
Quick. Efficient. Called to give 30 mins notice. Fixed a dishwsher blockage that prevented draining. Very polite, professional. Will call again.
Our LG refrigerator stopped cooling. Billy from American Appliances provided us with all the options of fix vs buy new. They fixed the refrigerator the next day in a professional manner. When the refrigerator stopped cooling again in two months, they responded within 24 hours and came to fix (add gas to the new compressor) the same day at no charge. This is how a professional service should look like!
Charles was very knowledgeable. He cleaned filters and replaced hoses for our washer as well as he fixed our dryers vent. Charles also provided us with valuable recommendations of how to maintain our washer and dryer. It was our first experience of dealing with American Appliance Services and we liked it very much. We are glad that we have found this A+ reliable company with highly professional staff.
My washing machine stopped mid-cycle on a Sunday. I called Monday and they were able to have a tech come out the very next day. Due to my schedule, I needed to wait until Thursday. They gave me a 7-9am window, he called at 7:26, was here by 7:35 and then gone by 8:00. Very expeditious, very knowledgable and completely awesome all the way around. THANK YOU!!!!
If you want to deal with unprofessional and rude people that dont show up on the day you schedule and stay home all day for it...them you call them a few time and dont pickup the phone for minutes later call back really angry because I called to many times...really bad customer service I ever dealt with.I spoke with the owner Dana by the way.
Brian was great! Called on a Saturday because we had water collecting under the fridge and Brian was there first thing Monday morning. He was able to come early enough so my husband and I didnt have to take time off work. He quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He was very straight forward and was able to fix the issue. He brought his own vacuum to clean up afterwards (so nice!). Honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable guy. I will trust him with all of my appliances in the future. Thanks!
We needed plug punched out of new disposal so dishwasher would drain (had I known how easy it was, I could have done it)...was quoted $85 which would count towards labor. Immediately upon walking in house I was told he was required to charge by the home office $139. After 3 minutes and job being done it was then $140. I suggested the person quoting and the person on the job should get their stories straight regarding charges....or maybe not! Seems they know what they are doing in that regard....
I called Monday because I received a F02 code on my washer. Scheduled the appt for Wednesday because I had off. Quick, friendly, professional service and best of all it was cheaper then what I was expecting!!! Will be calling from now on when ever a problem arises!! Bill quickly diagnosed the problem and had brought a replacement part with him. A few days before the holidays, and I was going to have company staying at my condo. We had a great experience with American Appliance. I called 7 other companies yesterday and American was the first to say they could send someone the following day. Brian called ahead, arrived on time, and was knowledgeable and respectful of our home. He fixed the washer, left the area clean, and even replaced the closet door (which I had removed when I tried to figure out the washer problem myself). He showed me the repair and explained the error codes. I never thought Id be happy to do laundry again!

After a fail attempt with another company I finally found this one that came out right away. Diagnosed the problem with my washer and changed the part right away. They actually guarantee their work and parts. Terrific service.
Very, very happy with this company. They came quickly, diagnosed the problem, and before ordering the part, called me to ask if I wanted to replace a related part, saving the labor of having to replace it at a later date (soon, by the looks of it). They were careful and courteous, gave advice on how to keep the refrigerator running at its best, and were very reasonable. About a week later, the fridge side stopped working--turned out to be a switch problem, not related to the work theyd done, but they came right out and fixed it immediately.I will call them for everything from now on, and I highly recommend them.

Weve been using American Appliance for years. I almost have a good feeling when something breaks because I can call them. Theyre oriented toward fixing if possible, rather than replacing. They frequently find opportunities not to charge you.... for instance if they have to come back because the fridge temp is still not right and they discover that the hidden knob was bumped.
Technician Billy knew the problem right away and offered a fix without the need to order a kit which costs more. The operator gave estimated quotes that matched final pricing and the actual arrival time was within half hr of the estimate. Very satisfied with the service.
Very competent and helpful staff. Not only the guy knew the part number by heart (and had the genuine item in stock), he also lent me a tool for removing the retaining ring. Yes, may be I paid a few bucks more than I would have online (for a generic stuff), but to me its worth it.

My oven broke and I called on a Saturday for an appt. They fit me in on Monday. The repair guy, Brian, was awesome. It ended up I needed a back ordered part and when it finally came, Brian installed it and my oven is finally working. Super happy with the folks I spoke to on the phone and Brian was great both times he came to the house. Would highly recommend.

It was a total ripoff, I should have know it by the rude manners on the phone. The guy came for less than 5 min to tell me what I already told the guy in the phone, that my washer machine was not working. He told me he had to order the part and he could probably fix it in 4 days !!! for almost the price of getting a new one.....For those 5 minute diagnostic, bad manners, he charged me $85....total ripoff.
