Definitely, Barbara and Dana not is Honest. My GE wash machine had problem with noise. Dana its a techician came and just use a flash light to see my machine for exacly 5 minuts and Charge me 189 dolares.. And told me my machine need a new transmission, and the price of this part is 600 hundred dolars more 3 hour of work for 189 dolars each hours.. This is the price from a new Machine at Home Depot.I resolve call to GE company..there told me this transmission for my machine is only 150 dolars..and the service is 99 dolars.Unfortunately Barbara and Dana not good person. ...be Careful!!

Flawless service. My Maytag refrigerator stopped working on a Tuesday. Technician Mike was out to repair it on Wednesday. Mike was professional, tidy, and explained the issue and its resolution very clearly so that I could understand what had happened. He had all the necessary parts to repair the fridge with him. I thought the pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend this business to others in a similar situation. They will certainly have my business again when the time comes, A+!
Weve used D Boy 4 times for refrigerator, dishwasher and washer issues. With the exception of the washer, which ultimately needed to be replaced, all issues were resolved quickly and with minimal cost. They are pleasant on the phone, show up within the window they set, and are reasonably priced. Have had Mike come three of the four times, and hes great.
We have bought 2 Maytag Washer-Dryer sets from them over the past 30 years. The sales people are polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The products are reliable and dependable lasting an average of 15 or more years despite considerable abuse from a family of 5 with 3 daughters. When they broke down, usually near the end of their service, it was easy to call D Boy, who sent competent, courteous and professional technicians to fix them. We give them our highest recommendation.
Michael was especially helpful and extremely personable. He was able to get us a great price on our Maytag refrigerator and the delivery/installation was exceptional. Will definitely be using D Boy over the big box stores in the future.
Some years back I shopped in the Alston store therefore when it was time to repair/replace a dishwasher I thought of them and ventured out to new Waltham Facility from Chestnut Hill.The service was so incredible weird that I actually thought that I was on Candid Camera.Although they advertised to have parts for the Maytag Unit I was keen on fixing they did NOT have the Roller Assembly. The Lady told me that the Dishwasher I had and wanted to repair was a good one, as well.So, I said, I really need to do this today... what can you sell me? And then I proceeded to hear excuse after excuse about how what you see on the floor IS HERE in the back (warehouse) but I cannot get to it and what you see on the floor is for sale as well yet it cannot be removed from the store at this time.It was so strange that I actually excused myself, walked outside and asked God what I should do next. I wanted to simply drive away. The answer I got was to give her another chance -- so I did.The total lunacy continued and so I thanked her and I left and went to a big box store (Best Buy, in this case) bought a similar unit.I truly hope that what I saw was not typical of this business operation as it was terribly-remarkable enough for me to remember to write one pathetic review.
I wouldnt trust anybody else to service my appliances. Far more knowledgeable and professional than others Ive used. Gold standard.
Absolutely useless liars. Do not trust any quotes on service. Barbara is a liar. All staff are quick to become combative when asking why pricing isnt what we were quoted. I confirmed 3 times that $139 would take care of parts and labor. Mind you our stove doesnt even have a pre heat indicator light, thats how basic it is. $139 turned into $255. And less then 10min on site between 2 visits. And the issue is STILL NOT FIXED!!! Now we all know why they are not on social media or even Yelp. Trust this, and other reviews on Google.
Absolutely atrocious non-service. I was told they would have two people at the house between 10am and noon five days after I called. When I called to ask if they were coming at 11:30, they said that I would receive a call before noon indicating the two technicians were on the way. I called again at noon to say that I had not received a call that they were on the way. The manager I spoke with clearly did not care whether of not they retained my business and the best she could offer was to reschedule for five more days down the line. I have no idea why anyone would ever want to do business with D Boy.

Needed my dryer repaired. Service came out on 6/17/15 and installed a faulty gas valve. Total cost: $350.00!! We could have bought a new dryer for that price! Six weeks later same problem with dryer. Called D Boy and was told the part was only guaranteed for 1 MONTH! Made an appt for service to come out. After a few minutes I called back and asked if I would be charged for this visit. They were going to charge me $40.00 for the first half hour and the cost of a new part. Are you kidding me! So much for standing by your work. I cancelled the appt. Thanks for nothing, D Boy. Good name for you only your rating should be F.
