Great place, with lots of options, big fan of trying new and different things when I come through. Ive been enjoying working my way through their different hard ciders recently.

Good selection of liquor. Found staff knowledgeable when I was getting gifts. I have not gotten a bad wine recommendation yet. I found the prices competitive for the general area. Has a few liquors that I havent found elsewhere. As someone who likes cream liquors, its nice to find several quality variations beyond Bailey, like Rumchata, Amarula, and Boston Harbor Maple Cream.

Tons of great beers, loads of local ones and a bunch of imports too. We also found a pretty rare London gin here too. Will visit again.

Ive been a customer of Glendale Package Store for well over 35yrs. I was forced to make my liquor purchases at D&L Liquors (just down the street) after Glendale decided to stop carrying the beers and wines that I always purchased there on a weekly basis. I truly believe that Tommy made a big mistake turning the responsibility of the store over to his son. The shelves are no longer stocked properly and the staff has an attitude problem. SADLY IM NOT EVER GOING BACK THERE!

Rather than take the short trip to NH, I decided to shop LOCALLY. This store had recently gotten a new owner and I was hoping it got a big face lift too. WOW was I surprised--absolutely the best liquor local store Ive ever been in..they were well stocked, incredibly helpful and NO ONE mentioned that they were closing in minutes as I browsed about. Many thanks to the owners for reviving this location--its a great shop, nice staff and easy to get to and park.

It’s good and has a lot of wine testing and random events, the only reason I give it 2 stars is cuz the turnover rate is almost unbelievable!!! My sister goes in daily/ or I go in for her and there is always a whole new staff! Lol and they never have pall mall ciggs

By far my favorite liquor store in MA. The GM Matt is the man, the rest of the staff is incredibly knowledgable and friendly. Im very happy with the inexpensive liquor, beer, and wine as well as the extensive selection of all the above.

I used to be a regular Glendale customer. Then I went in on a Sunday afternoon with 6 empty deposit beer cans and a list of about $150 worth of wine and liquor to buy. The only clerk there told me that their bottle and can redemption center was closed on Sundays. I pointed out that, under Massachusetts law, they are required to redeem deposit bottles and cans any time the store is open. I asked him to take the cans at the counter applying the 30 cent refund to my order. He refused.I took my shopping list to another liquor store, which gladly accepted my empties and sold me the items on my list. I havent been back to Glendale since.

UPDATE, Well the old owner sold THANKFULLY to the people that own Macys Liq in West Roxbury who have taken the old S#@t hole and made it into a REAL liquor store!The staff is increadably friendly and the selection is as good or better then the stores around them, with the pricing HARD to Beat!My update is Jan 20,2015 I think 3 or 4 yrs after the first which was about the old owners who where total jerks!
