I found the website helpful. When I couldnt locate a pick up price, i did an online chat to sort it out. Very easy. Invoice was sent to my email address.with a payment link. Follow up when the part was ready included a text and a phone call. Location was clean and the staff friendly.Overall an exceptional experience!

First time using Idrive was a great experience with Crystal. She got me the motor i needed at a great price. Motor was clean as well. I was nervous about using Detroit junk yards but Crystal went above and beyond and motor was not hacked up being removed and it was clean. I opened a new auto repair shop downriver(Discount Dan Auto in Wyandotte)so I trust Idrive for being a Detroit Used Parts Yard.

DishonestI asked for a 2013 Chevy malibu front passenger fender and they sold me a “2012” fender, which is actually tagged as a 2009 model. I was notified by my collision shop that the fender will not work because it is for a different year. They told me that they could not wait for me to find a correct one and that they would order a new fender from their source. Two months and two weeks went by before I could return the fender I purchased. When I tried returning it Cliff tells me that they have a no return policy. The invoice states at the top right corner that all claims for refunds, exchanges or warranties are limited to the original purchaser and must be accompanied by the original sales invoice. (The buyer agrees to the warranty on reverse.) He went on to say that it states the no return policy on the back of the invoice, which is printed so light that it is not readable (see picture). Why is the font print on the front side of the receipt printed dark and the back so light that you cannot read it? I guess that is the way they can screw customers. I told him that he sold me the wrong year fender when I asked for a 2013 model. Cliff responded that I need to be accountable, for what was his mistake. I do blame myself for not reading the part description after he gave me the receipt. I assumed I was getting a 2013 Chevy malibu fender. Then he acted like he is going out of his way to offer me an exchange on the fender for a 2013 or give me a store credit. I told him multiple times that the car is fixed, and the collision shop put on a new fender. For the store credit, it is a junk yard and what is the chance that I use it when I lease my vehicles. The fender was for my 81 year old mother’s car that she owns. I ended up exchanging the finder and left because I have a better chance of selling it on the internet and getting my money back. They make sure to tell you to give them a good review after you make a purchase. Beware of what you are being sold and make sure you get a readable disclosure on the back of your receipt.

I purchased what i was told to be a gm test engine for a 2016 chevy 6.6 diesel, What i was sold is a marine engine that will not work in my Truck!!I have Contacted Calvin who apparently owns this business sent him pictures of the motor they delivered along w the pictures his employee sent me prior to delivery which I thought was odd but now i understand!!! Calvin has not offered to refund or replace the Motor with an actual 6.6 gm diesel that will work for my Truck!! I spent $6500.00 on this engine now we will let he lawyers hash it out... This is not going away Calvin I assure you.
