Im a very honest person I run a business of my own and both times he had it the first time was to do a clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing $2,500 in a little Jeep Patriot eighty or ninety thousand miles it went out 52 days later which there was never a fourth gear in it but that would have been over $4,000 but it was fine I drove a car for 9 years one time without 4th Gear without a problem pIn a 5 speed each time he didnt even pull it inside for 30 days or more second time he told me it needed a transmission because you didnt want to do though warranty work Im sure I was told great things about this place and I had two terrible experiences after paying $6,000 for the Jeep and invest in over 3,500 more into it within the first three months I just let it go for almost nothing in his parking lot oh no I would not recommend it Im sorry every time I call they were saying all were going to get it on the voice tomorrow as soon as I watched turnovers of cars at least three times both times
Jeff was honest from the word go. He fixed me for a reasonable price. This garage has earned my transmission business. Hope they can earn yours as well.
I highly recommend this facility!!! They do great work and are honest about what needs to be done. I took my car to a different shop when it broke down and they replaced a perfectly fine transmission. When the car was still not running right, I took it to JB DLCO and they diagnosed that it was a bad Catalytic Converter. Audrey and Jeff are fantastic to work with and honest about what needs to be fixed. THEY DO IT THE RIGHT WAY!!!!
Poor response, vehicle there for 15 days and each time I checked for status Jeff said he was not able to look at it. Car remained outside in the cold, never put on hoist. Two days in I had been told I was next. Rented a car after 15 days to go to shop and see what was happening. Still said he was full could not put it up on hoist. Gave me a detailed estimate without searching for other possible alternatives for replacing the transmission. $6500. I asked for keys, got second opinion at AAMCO total care Garrison Automotive 14021 E 10mile in WarrenDiagnosed in 4 hours fixed next day $402. Riding smooth again.After such poor service the standard written response you have provided doesnt feel genuine. You should be calling ME. Not me calling you AGAIN .
Worst experience of our lives. They kept the truck for a week before they even looked at it. 2 weeks later they called and said that they broke the fuel line and the engine and didnt know how to fix it. Truck totally undrivable. Told us to go to another shop, refused to pay for towing. Yelled at us. Worst place to go. DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM. THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well so far so good Im having my car towed today to multistate for diagnosis and Audrey is very good at setting me up with a tow a getting car diagnosed next week. Will write more once car is diagnosed. Wwell after having my car looked at they ended up having to put a new clutch in my car and since then Ive had the car a few weeks I dont drive it much but seems okay they even went above and beyond the work on it by putting two new brand new battery terminals on my car so far so good well see how things go this was a 95 Ford escort LX sport I had to have a clutch put in flywheel everything prices were very reasonable cant wait to spring to get the car out and going

I have used multi state on two occasions and both times the craftsmanship was outstanding. Recently i took a work truck into them because I thought the trans was leaking, within three hours Jeff call back to tell me it was a radiator problem. Less honest shops probably would have told me that the trans needed repair. Transmission work is NOT cheap but with multi state you get quality work. Keep it up!

The owners communication with me every step of the way was excellent. He let me know what was wrong and verified the work to be done before he just went on and did it. He was very understanding and thorough. Im going back soon for some more work to be done.
I took my vehicle in for several repairs. Week one of repairs was an oil change, oil flush, trans flush, and a new radiator. I get my car back and it’s running everything is fine. They tell me there was only 1/2 quart of oil in it. My car has a light come on for just 1 quart low. It would’ve been on when I dropped my car off. I brush it off as bs. They tell me I need ball joints and tires. I drive my car into the shop a week later to do the ball joints and tires, I bought from owner. They said they had to send it off to level the car (I can’t think of proper term) a week later I go to pick up my car and it won’t start. I had to have it towed to the dealership to get a brand new engine. When the mechanic was trying to help me start it he was like well here’s the problem your oil is filthy. I’m like it shouldn’t be, I paid for an oil flush and an oil change.
Took my vehicle in for a transmission check they said there was nothing wrong with my transmission but charged me $127.10 just to check it out and said it was my engine they dont fix engines but if it was my transmission they could have so I took it to a another shop a few days ago and they did a full inspection on my vehicle and confirmed it was indeed a transmission fluid problem so Im going up there to talk to them about this
Really great service, I like Audrey she is a really great person. They told me that they would have my car done by 5pm actually it was done at 3pm and Audrey called me. I’m not happy about writing this because I used to like this shop, I thought they were fair pricing and did trustworthy work. I needed a catalytic converter bank 2 repair and they charged $700, I thought that’s a good price. It took a week for them to not fix it, the welder was sick. I picked up my car and agreed to return for repairs on Monday; my car was driving 100% times worst, then when I brought it in. I thought the converter was breaking down, so I hurried to getting my car back to the shop. It took another week to fix it, because I asked them to replace break pads because they were squeaking. That repair turned into the differential needing repair; but no, it turned into a rear axle repair and needing fluid in the differential. I paid $2800 and my car was cutting off while in idle; misfiring cylinders. Driving worst then when I first brought it in 2 weeks ago. I called, they told me I need a tune-up, however I had spark plugs replaced 3 months ago. I was sick, and called them back 2 days later, they told me I had to make an appointment for next week. My brother recommended his mechanic, turns out the boots were off or poorly connected to the spark plugs and I paid my brother’s mechanic $20 to connect them, and now my car is driving well again, just like before I even took it to Multistate. I haven’t called them to ask what did they do to the spark plugs covers. But, if they test drive the vehicle after repairs they would have noticed the cylinders misfiring. Now I don’t trust Multistate and will have the rear axle and converter inspected to see if they actually did the repairs. The service is bad because it takes them too long to do repairs; and I’m suspecting scamming practices. I will be using my brother’s mechanic; Multistate lost a loyal customer.
Poor timely service
Bring someone experienced with you. Once they have you sign that first diagnosis estimate its just their way of trapping you. Took a whole day to call us and tell us they needed 800 to simply diagnose. Went and got our vehicle took it to a different shop and had our diagnosis and quote within 3 hours. We kinda knew it was gonna be a rebuild/replace. Which is pricey. But it doesnt cost 800 to tell us that.
My husband took his Chevy box truck in for a leak on the differential. The truck was in the shop for 3 weeks and NO REPAIR WAS DONE!!!!My husband called the shop every week to check on the status of the repair. He was told by the secretary that she will check with Jeff and call him back. She NEVER called back. Second week Jeff told my husband that the shop does not have a proper hoist for his truck and it takes a lot longer to fix it. Long story short they came up with some other issues on the truck that my husband did not want fixed, they did not fix what was asked of them to fix and still charged my husband $112, made fun of his truck and made fun of him just because he speaks with an accent. He asked my husband to bring him “the gold” - as in cash. So no repairs after 3 weeks and Mr.Jeff is asking for his gold. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Beware of these ripoffs!! Not worth your time and definitely not worth your “gold “!!!

The owner was very informative in explaining what was wrong with my transmission. They did a great job taking care of the issue. Their financing option was great also because it allowed me to pay a portion up front and then finance the remaining payments.

I called this place to get a quote on getting a trans service done on my truck. I was put on hold and when the rep returned she told me to just bring my truck in and they would see what they could do. She was not even sure if they could do a basic tranmission service. Such as drain and fill the oil, replace the filter and so on.
I couldnt say enough good things about JB DLCO. My car was a bit more of a handful than anticipated due to a warranty on the water pump that was leaking, but taking advantage of the warranty stood to save me a lot of money on the repairs. They were insanely patient with the phone tag going on between my father, the family mechanic in Bay City (who had installed the water pump back in Nov), the warranty company, and me. Once all of the payments were sorted he got right to work on my car. He was down a mechanic at his shop so I know he worked longer hours than he usually does in an effort to get my car done in a decent amount of time. Always and will forever recommend JB DLCO.
I trust this company because I was referred here through a trustworthy source. Their work is great and I will go back with any future problems that I have! I would recommend this company to a friend and will come back again. I have already referred them to my friends and family!

The allison in our truck was having some problems after about 150,000 miles of towing and hauling service. I brought it here for a rebuild and was pleased by the experienced and professional service. The shifts are firm again and it pulls our fifth wheel up steep grades with no worries.

Took truck in quick service at first I am guessing because they did not do amything for the tune of $600. The next day truck was doing the exact same thing. We took it back in 10 days later still have not look at it. We will not only be stopping payment on original service, we will be suing them for evey client we lost for the full contract value. This people are untrustworthy scumbags.
They had to totally rebuild my transmission. They towed the van in, did a complete diagnostic, explained the problem to me, gave me an estimate, and performed the work. They ran into additional electrical problems, but didn’t finish the job until they could guarantee that the new transmission wouldn’t have problems with the electrical like the original one did (it blew at only 66K miles). I was very pleased. They explained the details to me well.
It’s been super dealing with a person such as you ( over long distance). You and I are breed, meaning “our word is our bond”. We need more of this in the world. Most of all, thanks for understanding and helping my son Mark with his car troubles.

I had a great experience at JB DLCO Transmission. The staff was very knowledgeable explaining to me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle. The repairs were made in a very timely manner and at the exact cost quoted. My transmission has been working perfectly. I would recommend them to anyone.
We could not be happier! The problem struck at a really bad time and we needed the car back quickly to start a road trip at the end of the week. The said they would try and get it done but couldnt guarantee anything. They called Friday morning to say that we could pick it up. We left later that day and put 500 miles on the car without a single problem. They did a great job and saved our road trip that was planned months in advance.
Our 1993 Ford Crown Vic had been grinding, growling, and shuddering for months and we reluctantly faced the fact that we might have to replace the transmission. My husband saw their ad in the Sterling Heights Chronicle and stopped by to see them last month. They immediately seemed to know what he was talking about and suggested that they first try replacing all of the transmission fluid. I brought the car in a few days later and they replaced the fluid. The car drives like a dream now. Feels and sounds like a new car! We are thankful to them for fixing our car and not taking advantage of us.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE THEY ARE RIPOFFS.I took 2 trucks to these jokers problem after problem with both of them. They would sit in the shop for 10 days and then they call and say truck is ready, after making it a few miles away from the shop, I would have to take it back and then it stay there another week. They for stuff they dont even touch and they are very outrageous and over priced comparing to other shops for exactly the same service.I would never recommend this place to anyone for anything, THEY ARE A RIPOFF AND THATS HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS BY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

My daughter was quite pleased with the performance of her 1986 LeBaron with 112,000 miles on it. She said its tighter than its ever been since she bought it! You know how a teenager will be treated by service technicians - so many seem to be out just to make a buck at the expense of customer satisfaction. This certainly was not the case with Multistate Transmissions. She said her dealings with Jeff were great. She said he was very polite and helpful. We were all pleasantly surprised when she was asked to bring the car back in 2 weeks or so in order for the transmission to be checked along with the fluid level. What service!! As someone who works for a company focused on customer delight, I can tell you this - We are DELIGHTED with Multistate Transmissions and Jeff!!! Thanks again for the efficient service. I had my wife’s van towed down to J.B. DLCO transmissions based upon past recommendations from others who’ve had work done there. It was the Friday before Christmas and we were worried that we were going to be without our family vehicle for traveling during the Christmas holiday. I spoke with Jeff(one of the owners, It’s a family owned business) and he assured me that they would have it looked at right away and get it fixed quickly. They took a look at it and dropped the transmission and found out that it needed to be rebuilt (some of the gears had basically disintegrated inside, metal everywhere). He said don’t worry we’ll have a guy get right on it and he started to do the rebuild.Well I got a call the next day and they told me I could come and pick it up, I asked what the total cost was it it came in less than what I was quoted! It’s now 1 month later and everything works great and I’m happy as heck! I also love the fact that their warranty is good across the country. I would highly recommend J.B. DLCO to anyone needing transmission work done, they have all the bases covered, courtesy, knowledge (they’ve been there since the 1960’s), speed, price. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Very bad phone service Im trying to tell her that I want to speak to some one about driving my truck in and she wants to over talk you and not listen to you she is telling me to drive my truck in it wont mess up and it wont even go over 10 mphs and had no reverse wow maby you should listen to your customers
