Went to a photo shop to have photos removed from phone, I was terrified of losing my photos because of my phone. Photo shop recommended WACD LLC..Stopped at WACD, left my phone . A couple hours they called, said ready to be picked up. I was so happy. All my photos on a disc, price very reasonable.Great place to do business.

I took my laptop in to get some pictures recovered from my deployment to Afghanistan. I was sure they were lost for good. The staff was able to recover them and put them on a hard drive for me. They also went ahead and pulled all files off the laptop as well because it has a bad hard drive. I was thoroughly impressed with the service and communication from W.A.C.D.. You know what’s better than free two day shipping? Twenty minute pickup. I just got back from a trip out west and had put all of my photos and video footage onto an external hard drive. My cable malfunctioned and I was unable to access the data. One quick call and a drive across town I had a replacement cable in my hand. I highly recommend going somewhere else. We purchased a laptop computer there less than a year ago and paid extra for an extended warranty. The screen on the laptop flickers off and on so bad that you have to open and shut it for the screen to come back to normal. After taking it back to them they wanted to charge a bench testing fee of 100 to diagnose the problem. This company will not take care of you after the purchase. Beware the prior reviews on this site many are from themselves using various dummy accounts.

I Took my newly built desktop in to see why it wouldnt connect tot he internet. They didt find any issues (it was an ISP issue) and didnt charge me ANYTHING. They also gave me a followup call to see what the problem was and if there was anything else they could do.. Highly recommend!

When my laptop lost its sound I took it back to staples since I had a warranty with them. They could not help me because it needed to be opened up & they couldnt do that. I heard of WACD a new company that was just opening up. I took my laptop to them and they opened it up and after several attempts to repair they found the parts were no longer available. A few months ago, I received a phone call from someone from a very well known computer affiliate, whom he claimed to be from Microsoft. He proceeded to convince me that he was going to help me with any questions I may have had with my computer and software. Well I believed his what seemed to be “honest” business intentions. Basically by the end of the conversation he tried to convince me, my computer was extremely slow, which it was not, and I needed to purchase a Virus protection package, I said no thank you”. called WACD and spoke to Nick. Horrible experience trying to get a simple quote for SSD health diagnosis. Very obtuse customer service, very smugly rude as well. I only wanted them to plug in my SSD and verify that it registered as a working drive. WACD wanted $125/hr, and then if they found something wrong with the drive, they would charge an additional $100 if I didnt want them to fix it. (not sure how they think theyre going to fix a non-functioning SSD). That held true even when I asked if I would be charged the fee simply for a diagnosis of any issue. Simply ridiculous.Elite Computer Networks on Detroit said they would do that for free, so I guess Ill go there LOL. I know where I WONT be going for any IT help, but where Ill be actively discouraging others to use....

I had a Mac Powerbook and an old iMac that needed to be checked. You got the Powerbook going but the old iMac seems to have the motherboard fried.
