Tori is fantastic! She went above and beyond for my 4Runner that was broken into. Even though I confused the date to bring the vehicle in after filing my claim with my insurance, she worked with the insurance company to get the paperwork filed so I could bring the car back in the next day instead of waiting a week. I was always the one to have to reach out to see when my car was going to be done. Their work is very sloppy and unprofessional. When my car was finally done, there was a lot of overspray on my car and a part was missing. I had to bring it back a week later for them to put the part on and for them to repaint my car since they failed to do it the first time. Whenever I call for an update, someone just gives me a random timeline or I just get told that I will get called back but no one ever does. Working with this body shop was super frustrating. I won’t be bringing my car back here ever again.

I brought my car here in August after a car accident. First of all the completion date for my vehicle changed at least 3 times. I waited close to a month to receive my vehicle which was originally supposed to be completed a week after. When I received my car after a month the job completed on my vehicle was very sloppy. I had to inform Tim of caps and things that were just left unfinished aesthetically upon pick up. I could only imagine the things that were not visible that were left unfinished. I also noticed my Bluetooth device placed in my car lighter area was not working (working perfectly fine prior). Tim told me that there must be something wrong w the device. I purchased a new Bluetooth device and to no avail it still does not work. I also recently brought my car into another Toyota shop and was informed all 4 of my wheels needed to be aligned. When this was allegedly a service completed my Capital Certified Collision Center. Tim and John and any other supervisor you’ll have the pleasure of speaking with will try to act nice. But are truly just tying to gaslight you.Now I have no way of paying audio in my car, i’vehad to come out of pocket to pay for things like caps left off of my car, and now I need to pay for a new wheel alignment. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else...
Turned around a repair faster than expected and car came back clean and washed. Text updates were also really nice and they communicated often and clearly throughout the entire process. The only place I’ll ever get a repair done in DC!
Let me start off by saying I only write reviews when I feel it is absolutely warranted, and when I think my experiences should be shared with others. With that being said, my brand new vehicle was being repaired at this body shop after a tree branch fell on it. Upon my arrival at the shop, I set in the office for about ten minutes until I was helped. Then the rep and I went outside to go over the damage to my car, which went well. I was told that I would be updated via a text message system. Then I was instructed not to rely on that information because my car would most likely not be ready in the time frame stated.Within a couple days, I began to receive an update about my vehicle. Long to the short, my vehicle was ready almost two weeks after the messages said it would be. When I arrived at the shop, I spoke to the office personnel and someone who I assume was the shop manager. The first thing the manager told me was hed see me back in about six months because there was a paint recall on my vehicle. He didnt introduce himself, nor did his demeanor make me feel welcome. That news, whether accurate or not, is, in my opinion, not something you tell a customer who is picking up his vehicle after you had it for three weeks.The days following my receipt of the car were especially frustrating. I began to notice things like paint in the fuel cap areas, clear coat runs, and ashy white marks on the trim of my view. I expected the quality of the job done to reflect the fact that they had my vehicle for 3 weeks, but it did not. I walked away from this ordeal filling like I did not receive my car in like-new condition.
The service at this shop was absolutely incredible, particularly the professionalism of Tina (who works at the front). Definitely do not need to look any further if your car needs to be fixed. They were amazing!
Simply amazing. I wouldnt go anywhere else!! They do fabulous work and customer service is impeccable. They helped me lower my deductible from a hit and run accident to less than half of what i was told by the insurance company..theyre seriously the best and youre selling yourself short to go anywhere else!

After being rear-ended, I had to choose from a list of body shops that worked with the other drivers auto insurance. I chose Capital Certified Collision based on previous customers positive reviews, and Im very glad that I did. The staff were helpful and friendly, communication was great ( I got text updates on the repair status), and my car looks beautiful again. Would recommend!

If I could give this place a negative star ⭐️ I would have. I should have followed my gut from the first call I made to this poorly run business with clear customer service and poor workmanship issues.> I initially called at least 3 weeks before calling back again to make an appointment to drop off my car. The receptionist and service manager Chase were rude and it seemed as if I was bothering them by calling to ask questions about the process of dealing with State Farm claims with the shop. I wasn’t totally happy at the end of that call.(But I continued to ignore my gut because Capital Certified Collision was very convenient in terms of having a rental car company next door. This made is very easy to get a rental after dropping my car off. Plus the Brookland metro stop was one block away and within a 15 drive from my home.)> I called back to make an appointment to drop off my car. This step was pretty straight forward and the date convenient for me was available. When I dropped my car off, an older Latin man took me on a walk around to inspect my car before the shop took possession. I saw this as a good thing because they can see how well I’ve taken care of my car. Even better the older Latin man said my car was clean and looked new. I told I keep my car in the garage and wash/detail it often.> I dropped my car off on a Monday (7/29/19). Thursday Monday around 9am I receive a call from Chase stating my car is ready and I said I’d pick it up in the afternoon. (Note: I thought it was a bit odd the work was so fast because I know it takes time to get the paint for a Mercedes Benz. Plus I know it takes time for the painting and proper drying process. I happen to have experience/knowledge with high end cars.)> When I arrived the car was out front and thank God the sun was out, so I could get a good look at the work performed. At first glance I knew something was wrong. The paint color and texture was wrong, some would call it lizard skin or fish eye but the paint dried in a way that made the surface of the paint not smoothly touch or to the eye. Also the color was clearly off. Especially considering the bumper was a perfect match in color and texture when I dropped off the car. Why would my car come back to me in a different condition. All they had to fix was a small scratch on the right front bumper. There was a clear gap between the hood and the bumper that was there when I dropped my car off. The lower chrome trim was loose and moved side to side and up and down. It wasn’t like that when I dropped my car off. The spacing around each hard light was off and uneven when comparing the right side to the left. Additionally, I found two sets of matching small screws in the front passenger seat that wasn’t there when I dropped off my car. The screws had a light rust so it’s obvious they came off my car specifically the bumper. Essentially they left screws of when reinstalling my bumper. Why? I have no idea.> The service manager Chase tried to convince me there was nothing wrong and the work looked normal and that’s what lead me to take my car to one of their competitors who are also certified by State Farm.Service: poor to mediocreQuality of work: poorResponsiveness to customer concerns: poorFacility location: greatRecommendation: I WOULD NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND I DO NOT ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO TAKE THEIR CAR TO Capital Certified Collision Center at 934 Michigan Ave NE DC.
Dropped off our car for body work just 5 days before we were to head out of town for Christmas, but it was scheduled to take 2 weeks to repair!! Miguel and his team, some of whom worked til 10 pm on our car, worked a Christmas miracle and returned our car, good as new, in 5 days!!!Thanks so much, all of you at CCCC!!!!! Happy New Year!!P.S. the work they did even in that short time was amazing!!

I went to Capital Certified Collision Center on an insurance claim with my CR-V not knowing what to expect. I wanted some faded trim painted and my headlights buffed out in addition to the insurance damage. Chase, the manager, threw in the bits and pieces and had the car ready a day early! I hope I never get into another accident, but if I do, I will definitely take my car to Capital Certified Collision Center!

If there was the option to leave 0 stars I would!!!! DON’T COME TO THIS PLACE....PLEASE DON’T COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m starting to doubt if the people that left reviews are probably bought. First of all, I had left a speaker in my vehicle, it got stolen. Guess what the response of the manager was ‘well you signed a weaver, we are not responsible’!!! TERRIBLE. Then, I found items scattered and out of the bags. I mean, not even the coins I had escaped their long hands because guess what? Got stolen as well. I’m tremendously disappointed, mad and shocked, because i never expected to take my vehicle there and getting stuff stolen.
Three times my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta was involved in an accident twice front end damage and all three times it was repaired at their service center excellent customer service the claims adjuster named Paul was very helpful kept me updated and was patient with me and answered my questions and most importantly I got my car back 4 days earlier than on schedule.PS I would definitely refer them to a family member and Friends
Had my car repaired here twice because of back to back accidents. The first time I received texts and calls from the guys performing the repair. However, the second time I didnt receive any updates but had to call to get them myself. Im giving 3 stars because their work is impeccable but they need to improve with updating their customers. Tina, however, saved the day and when she found out about my frustration she apologized and stated that she understood where I was coming from. Tina stayed in contact with me after I expressed my frustration and was even nice enough to move my car and park it in front of the building and waited for me outside with my keys. With that said Id be willing to give this place another chance because of Tina. Capital Collision gets 3 stars but Tina deserves 5.
Tina and Chase were excellent with there customer service, quality of time and work on my vehicle. They are and were very courteous. God forbid any further accidents, Ill definitely be going back to them.
Communication was definitely lacking. After a week of having my car I hadnt heard from them so I had to call them to make sure everything was okay (it was). Overall a good shop but room for improvement.
Tina, Mike, Miguel, Allen and the rest are a dream team here at Capital Certified Collision Center! They worked together to restore my VW Jetta to perfect condition, while keeping me updated every step of the way. They even cleaned the entire car, inside and out. Tina stayed late on a Friday, hours after the shop closed to give me a chance to pick up my car after work. She mentioned to me that they noticed my tire was losing air, and to bring it back if it continued to do so. A week later, they plugged the tire for me, free of charge!!! Ill definitely be back.

STAY AWAY! I chose this repair shop as the first visit I had with them back in April/2016 went OK! even though the lady (Spanish) at the front desk lacks in customer service. Went in this morning to have an adjuster lecture me on a previous claim NOT his place to do so as it involved a brand new claim. I ended up taking the vehicle to College Park Honda Collision Center whom had a great service. I will NEVER put myself in this situation EVER again.

So far, so miserable. I have not gotten my car back yet. This is my first experience with a body shop and my experience may be typical. I selected this place based on the online reviews and convenience to metro/home. When I called they told me that they would keep me updated on the progress and call me every 1 to 2 days. They have had my car for over a month. Every time I plan to pick it up I find out it is not ready yet, or there has been some hold up they neglected to tell me about. I have now had 4 rental car reservations paying much more than if I had gotten any communication from them and rented by the week or even month. I would have less inconvenience if I had just used USAAs preferred shops in Virginia.
They did a beautiful job in December 2016 of fixing my rear bumper and made sure that I was happy when I looked over the car when I picked it up. The work was done well and quickly at a time convenient for me.
They the pits. Got my car fixed here and was told have 2 year warranty what they fixed now needs to be fixed again and the manager says its not covered.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I took my car to this shop to have repairs done from an accident.. I dropped my car of on a Friday, received daily texts about the status of my vehicle up until the following Thursday. I called at 8am on Monday to check on the status of my vehicle and I was informed that it was going to be washed and ready for me later in the day. I received a call Monday evening at around 5:30pm saying that my vehicle was ready. I get to the shop to find out that some of the repairs were made...YES YOU READ IT CORRECTLY ONLY SOME OF THE REPAIRS WERE MADE.. My gas door was no longer fitting properly, there was so much paint and glue residue on my vehicle, the gas tank was wrapped in yellow tape, the black rubber trimming on my vehicle was now painted silver AND TO TOP IT ALL, THE FRONT OF MY VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AT THIS SHOP TO THE POINT THAT THE PAINT WAS SCRATCHED OFF OF MY VEHICLE AND DENTED. This wasnt even the reason for my vehicle being there.. This was added damage caused by this shop. Tina, the nicest secretary that works at this shop was left to deliver my car to me. She saw all of the non repaired work and the new damages and took pictures to show to her manager. I took my car back on Tuesday so the manager could see all of my concerns. One of the managers looks at the vehicle and says well I dont see how this was damaged here. Well luckily, a walk through of the vehicle was performed by Tina and the additional damage was not there when I dropped my car of.. The first manager retrieves another manager and they look at the concerns and suggested that I bring my vehicle back for repairs and to get a rental car. I was also informed that they would need to keep my car for three days. I bring my car back later that day and wax given a rental car from their facility. It was a 2013, blk chevy impala. Sounds nice right, HELL NO!! The care was washed but it was filthy dirty inside from the floor to the ceiling. The horn didnt work properly and the trunk was not useable... Oh, i forgot to mention that they put a yellow tree air freshener in it... I truly believe that this car belonged to one of the employees.. I called the very next day to see if a clean car and a car that could fit my 64 son, 62 husband and I at the same time was available. I was told NO.. So for 3 days, my family and I had to take turns riding in this employees car. On the third day I received a call at around 1:30pm saying that my vehicle was ready. Good news, right! HELL NO!! I arrive around 2:45pm to get my car to find out that it still wasnt ready and additional damage was done, AGAIN!!! I am so over this place and will be taking my car elsewhere and I will be taking further action. I can honestly say that the only good from this was Tina going above and beyond to help me. She felt so bad and apologized on this shops behalf because not one manager apologized. This experience was unacceptable. I will will never return my car to this shop and I strongly do not recommend this shop to anyone. This shops gets 1 star from me so that I can post my experience. However, Tina deserve 5 stars..!!
Mike, Max and Chase were excellent to work with. They did not let me leave the shop until I was satisfied with the services they provided and even repaired damages from a previous workshop who did a very poor job with my vehicle.

My experience with CCCC was so smooth and easy, Im worried that Ive completely exhausted any and all karma I had saved up. I ended up here via Geicos Auto Repair Xpress program. I brought the car in on a Tuesday to get a pretty significant amount of work done, expecting the repairs to take at least 2-3 weeks. They estimated it would be 12 days, and the work was finished that Friday (3 days later). The car looks brand new, and I was walked through every step of what would be done before it was done. Max, Chase and Tina were all super delightful to deal with, and great communicators. Excellent experience - would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Do not, I repeat, do not bring your vehicle to this location they are shady I had a brand new truck which was in an accident truck was clean in and out when I dropped it off, came to pick it up it was very very dusty, sure they fixed my issue but not perfectly my door makes a creaking sound this was last August and they did nothing for the dusty seats and other things I complained about..this place was recomended by statefarm my insurance company put a claim in and still no reply about the dust I just gave up..take your vehicle to the dealership always these side spots dont really care about your property Integrity is what they lack and they lie and say I did all it was like that when I dropped it off...Really?

A few weeks ago I was involved in a minor traffic accident with my 2015 Hyundai Accent. After getting my initial estimate through Geico they had me choose a repair shop to get my vehicle fixed, I chose this place based on their Yelp reviews. Cant say enough about Capital Certified, not only did they fix my car faster than they quoted, they noticed additional damages on my vehicle that were part of the accident and worked directly with my insurance company to have it all included in my claim. Hopefully I wont have to go back, but I would highly recommend them to anyone involved in an accident.

My Silverado looks brand new now AND they even washed and vacuumed the inside!! This place is literally walking distance from the Metro station so I didnt even bother renting a car even though they have an Enterprise next door. Go see Chase, he took care of me.
