I just moved to DC and was having such a hard time picking a mechanic that I trust. I came in here to get my alignment and tire tread checked. Jay worked on my car and was quick, transparent, and very clearly not trying to sell me anything. He taught me a couple tips for car maintenance and I was on my way. Will definitely come back!

Awesome experience here! The splash guard on the bottom of my car came off when i hit something on the highway. I brought my car to Jindal and they replaced it for free! Staff is friendly, they know what they are doing and charge a fair price. Cant recommend highly enough.

Ever since my nephew introduced me to Sanjay and his Mechanic shop, I love love love taking my car to the shop! They are wonderful people to work with… very professional reasonable; they will tell you everything that needs to be done to your car and the price before even working on it. I took my vehicle to have an electrical problem fixed with my windows and ended up with a nice scratch on my drivers side door, a small hole in my one of my seats and a non-working horn Over a 2-week period, they attempted to fix the issue to no vail. In the process, my vehicle sustained damage and a new problem. Ultimately, I took my vehicle to the dealership where the electrical and horn issues were fixed in 3-days. With Jindal-Andre, I was most disappointed in the lack of communication. I had to call them to get updates on the repairs. The proprietors were always pleasant, but my rating is based upon them not being open and honest in their ability to fix the problem. They should have referred me to a dealership because my original issue had them stumped.

They were incredibly helpful with my problem. I had a loud noise coming from my brake, brought it in and they saw my car and had it fixed within 2 hours. Plus, they were nice enough to not even charge me when they discovered it was a rock stuck in my wheel! Would recommend to anyone for their fast and friendly service!

Ive had a handful of visits to Jindal Andre for my Range Rover Evoque, and it has always been a great experience. Fixes are completed quickly, the price is fair, and the staff (especially Phil!) is friendly and helpful. They dont try to pressure any additional services. Its been so hard to find a quality service center in DC that isnt outrageous, but this is it!

This place is a SCAM! Stay away!!!They first misdiagnosed my car issues and charged me for it. I had to take my car back there 4 times and paid over $3,000 for it to be worse than when I first took it. They cause my engine to smoke and check engine light to stay on.Had to buy a new car soon as I got it back.

They called me with every detail of my truck. I’m normally apprehensive about Certain things but they did the work that my warranty covered and gave me a list. I’m going back because I like them

Very professional real knowledgeable and outstanding work

The only reason why I didnt give these guys a four-five stars was because of the price and a work that was performed on my car that I never really requested in the first place when I got there (The requested work I wanted was to fix my exhaust clamp which was making the noise when I drive. The clap was fixed, $61.30 for the clamp + $80.00 for the labor work of that one clamp. Mind you, I dont know much about cars, but they told me I needed to get 2 sway bar LINKS replaced [basically two small bolts] - which i never really requested in the first place (which cost $8.00 dollars each link, plus $80.00 dollars for labor work on top of that - which LETS GET REAL... is a bittttttt MUCH... Im pretty sure I got ripped off there...) The three stars are for their friendliness and quick work. I just wished they wouldve been more upfront with me on what was REALLY necessary and just only fix the problem that I requested versus adding additional work. I came around 1pm ish on a Saturday and the shop was to close at 3PM. They fixed my car a little after 3PM. Shawn (or Sean) helped me out at the front desk.

My Prius broke down the other day and I had no clue why, luckily I was able to jump it and bring it to Jindal and Andre’s. I often hate going to the mechanic and I’ve lived in DC for a while so I’ve mainly been jumping from place to place when in need of services. J&A’s experience was much different from the others. I was kindly greeted and I did not wait long for them to inspect the car even though they were about to close. Andre immediately found all of the issues with my car and it was mainly a battery replacement. I expected to pay a lot of money to have it replaced but to my surprise it was less than expected including labor. I am glad to say I have finally found my mechanic in DC!

About a month ago on my way into work my tire blew out. I pulled into Jindal Andre Automotive. The staff their assisted me changing my now shredded tire with my spare. The employees were extremely kind and professional. They had my tire off and spare on with the speed that would rival a NASCAR pit crew. I would highly recommend this shop either for planned service or for the unplanned DC road hazard.

My battery died a few days ago (this was a long time coming) so it was towed here. In addition to replacing my battery, the shop also changed my oil and replaced my front brakes, all for a competitive price. They were patient and knowledgeable in answering my unrelated questions about buying and selling cars. I’ll be coming back!

I paid 20$ to patch a tire With a leak and 4 days later the tire was completely flat. I got a picture of the tire and the receipt to go with it. Do not waste your time with this business.

I took my car here several months ago for a repair. Im always a bit dubious on local shops that I do not know well so I priced the repair at a couple other places ahead of time. This place is VERY convenient so I decided to give them a try. The final repair total was on the low side of the other estimates I had gotten, was done quickly, and with very good customer service. I have a different repair I need now, and I will be taking it back to them in hopes that the quality service continues.UPDATE: SECOND VISIT: Over the summer I had Jindals folks fix a front bumper after a little mishap. They had to replace the bumper and paint it to match and also repair/replace the headlights. For body work, I really wanted to go to a body shop, but the high ranking ones were not close . So I took it to Jindal and they did an AMAZING job. The bumper looks beautiful and now several months later the headlights and everything are still in place and going well. The price was also very reasonable. Great to have these guys nearby.

Six hours for an oil change, when the shop was not busy, save your time and go somewhere else

Very respectful staff. Free diagnostic testing of the issues with my car and great pricing. They don’t try to sell you on services you don’t need, and were able to diagnose an issue that other shops could not. The price ended up being about $50 lower than stated on the quote. There’s a one year warranty on the provided services and they have locations countrywide. They are very busy, but the service and price are worth waiting a little longer. I would recommend them to family and friends.

This place was recommended to me from Mac Tires when they let me know that I needed an alignment. I brought my car in to Jindal Andre to get it checked out and it turns out there was a lot of maintenance that needed to be done. I was a college student at the time and they understood my financial situation so they prepared 2 quotes for me. One was everything that should be fixed on my car and the other was the main priorities that needed to be fixed. This helped me out a lot. My car is running smother than ever. I just moved to DC and one of the most stressful things for me is finding someone I can trust my car with. The guys at Jindal were great! They kept me informed every step of the way & their service was quick and professional. They had my car out in two days, even though I told them there was no rush, I just needed it back in a couple of weeks. I thought I needed a complete EGR system replacement, but they figured out how to replace just one component and actually showed me the part they replaced when I picked my car up. This is definitely going to be my new shop. So lucky to live so close to these guys!

These guys are the absolute best, they recognize me everytime I come in, they do a good job and are very friendly. Finding the business can be a little difficult if you dont know where to look. But best of all these guys are very competitive with their pricing- I got a quote from another garage before I had come here one time and the other guys quoted me almost twice what Jindal-Andre did!!! I cannot sing their praises enough! They even had a Thanksgiving meal and invited me, you can tell these guys really care about their customers and keeping them happy!!

Extremely helpful and friendly!I showed up without an appointment to have them look at a broken strut on the trunk door of my Jeep. It was near the end of the day and about to rain really heavily, so they didnt have time to do the repair, plus they still would have needed to order the proper parts. The strut was broken and stuck in such a way that it prevented the trunk from fully closing, thus leaving the trunk ajar and exposed to the elements, like the impending rain. So they quickly removed the strut so that the trunk could properly close, saving me from having to wrap the rear of my truck in weatherproof tarping. They didnt attempt to charge me a cent. They took my information, and said theyd call me back with a quote for the actual repair.

I asked for a 4 wheel alignment, they gave me a 2 wheel alignment ($69.99) before a 600 mile road trip. And they put too much oil in my car ($20.40 - I brought my own oil and filter). I knew something was up when they said I had to correct the camber and castor to the toe on the right side before even looking at it.. So they charged $30.40 for that. Very annoyed as they have such great reviews. Yet my car is still not aligned... I had just bought this used car. I noticed that the alignment was off slightly, going slightly to the left.. Well after their work, it really goes to the left.. really annoyed and dont trust them to bring it back.

I had several different problems with my car going on at once and Sanjay and Jay helped me tackle them with patience. They were transparent about what was going on with my car, talking me through the mechanics and parts especially when I asked a lot of questions. They chased down parts and even stayed long after their normal closing time to finish my car since I had to be on the road soon after. Sanjay also matched a lower price on tires that I found at another shop. The guys at this shop were knowledgable, experienced, and genuinely cared about what they do and taking care of the customer. I was told that my car will be ready within an hour and a half. I called at that time and they had not yet put oil in the car. I had to leave 30 minutes later for a time sensitive meeting and they kept me on the phone to pressure me and really scare me about my cars tires.Upon my arrival at the shop to get my car, the gentleman who had worked on it said everything looked good, which was completely contrary to what the customer service person I had talked to on the phone had said. Seeing that he was caught in a lie, the customer service person got very verbally rude to the gentleman who fixed my car and emphasized to me that my car needs more fixing, despite my repeated request that I need to leave to get to a time sensitive meeting.Right before leaving, he really pressured me to fix more things for the last time and truly made me fearful of driving for the sake of his profits. I will never return to Jindal-Andre and hope that they learn to put peoples safety and peace of mind at the forefront of their work.The work that they did on my car (oil change) was satisfactory and is the only reason why I am even considering this 3-star. Otherwise, they would have received a 1-star from me.

On a recent trip to Washington, my battery died. AAA gave a jump start but said tests indicated the battery was bad and there was an electrical drain to be traced and fixed.Being from out of town, I Googled repair shops, crossed my fingers and took my car early in the morning. In half an hour they reported no electrical drain and said the battery was good.I asked how much I owed. Nothing, they said, because they hadnt done any repair. But you gave your time and expertise, I said. No, they refused. Persisting, I handed $20 to the fellow at the desk. He waved it away but said I could give it to the mechanic. I went into the garage and did so. (In a brief chat that he grew up in the town where I live in New York.)Based on the AAA misdiagnosis, this shop could easily have sold this stranger a battery I didnt need and billed for a bogus electrical drain repair. I would never have been the wiser.I wish I lived nearby - I would be a repeat customer.

I thought I needed an alignment, but when I took it in they said it was fine and didnt charge me anything for the diagnostic either. Five stars for honesty and not trying to take advantage of me.

You might not think youre in the right place because it looks like a taxi shop, but youre there. Found this place using the OpenBay app. I was there for routine service and inspections, oil and filters mainly, tire rotation. The quoted price seemed high, but the final price was lower. It looks like the price got lowered because the time it took to perform the service was faster than what was in the quote for labor. It ended up costing a little more than Jiffy Lube I think, but Im unsure if Jiffy Lube performs whatever inspections they did. I would go here again for any issues.

On My first visit and first post i gave them 5 stars but a lot has changed since then, on my third visit I was told my wait time will be 2 hours but it took 8 hours and they installed a used part in my car without notifying before the install and they charged me the price a new part would have cost, I will not return to jindal Andre automotive and i will not recommend anyone to visit this establishment.

I wish I could post -100 stars. I went in for a simple alignment and these guys tried to rip me off. First my car sat there for 3.5 hours before i called to check if it was done only to find out they hadnt started because the couldnt drive a manual stick shift car. They then tell me that the alignment cant be done unless i pay for all these other things that i didnt need ( I know because i work on my own cars most of the time.. They Quoted me $1126 without parts. Once i called them on it they tried to backtrack and reduce the prices saying that the guy giving the quotes didnt know what he was doing. Sanjay at the front desk is a scam artist and so are the mechanics.

My friend referred me to this place. When I could not find a tech to fix my car which had an electrical problem with my brake light bulb. It was far for me since I live in va, but was already ticketed for my brake light so felt to give them a try. I can say I chose the right place they had my car for one day and fixed it.
