I was surprised they still had all the flavors I wanted. The staff members were very nice even though it was shortly before they closed. Would have given them a five but the restroom dusty.

Probably the only place to take out breakfast at 6 am. For this time of a day manager- cashier fast quick and friendly. Employee how was making a coffee -not at all. But Im full and happy after all )

Tried to make an online order but the only available platform is doordash and its just giving me an error. Thought it would be nice to grab breakfast before an appointment at the hospital. Guess Ill never know!

Average coffee but delicious cinnamon & raisins bagels.

The food was good. But the attendant was rude, not patient, she did not asked us if the macchiato supose to be cold or hot, so the tempeture was not what my daughter wanted (but she took that anyway). My order came imcompleted, when I complained about the attendant was very rude. She was definitely in a bad mood.

The bagels were dry and the servings (fillings were sparse), but more importantly I am reviewing this location because the male attendant at the register is extremely rude. A little cheer goes a long way: this guy offers none.

Good is good, but manager is rude. And closing right at noon makes absolutely no sense. No wonder they have no lunch crowd...how could it be otherwise.

Rude service, the way they talk to customers is like they are the boss, definitely not worth spending money here, a few more place in the area you can go. No smile and don’t understand customers needs. Place is messy no one clean the tables too. They chat and talk loud don’t know if they here to work or have fun.

6:21am Sunday... Still Not Open! I waited outside from 6:00am to 6:16am when I took this picture of a closed store. I saw 1 employee working and he didnt bother to come out and say why! I waited another 5-minutes in my truck and the lights still out at 6:21am and the store was still closed. I could see an employee taking out the trash or something from my truck when I finally drove off. Wasted Time!!! They should change the stores opening time if the employees cant make it to work on time. Ridiculous!!!

I have never been more disrespected as a customer. I was disrespected on THREE separate accounts all from William, who is also the store manager. After the third encounter I decided to leave and not continue with my purchase because of how off putting the experience was. It was my first time going to Einstein Bros Bagels and my last. I do not recommend.

Ordered curbside. Instructions said to park near front of store and put hazard lights on. Well see you in 10-15 mins. I am already there so I wait 20 minutes. Call them to check to see if I did something wrong and they said no and my order was ready. I expected to see them soon but another 7 minutes go by. Call them back again. And now they say we have the brew the coffee. how do we know how much creamer you want?. You needed to call us when you parked around back. Apparently we were parked in the wrong area. 30 minutes are now gone so we just wanted a refund. You have to use the app for refunds. This app barely has any features. Refunds are definitely not an option. Call back about the refund. Ill call corporate and find out where in the app. Ask how we will know and he said well call you back. When can I expect a call? ...Its a holiday today!...thanks for the reminder. Oh and just then I see a car parked where were parked receive a curbside pickup order.

Worst experience ever! The manager William is so rude and disrespectful. He yells at his customers and rings up wrong orders. This is the last time I will be returning at this location . Horrible service. I also see how he gets on with his staff in front of customers it is very unprofessional. His behavior is terrible. Also after reading the rest of the comments on here proves my point . Upper management has GOT to do something about this guy. He’s making the company look bad. Everyone keeps complaining as you can see in these comments!!!

Manager opened the store late. Then, complained of having too many orders to complete. The food was mediocre. Nope!!! Save your time and money.

Rude customer service, limited drink selection, rushed my order and put one drop of cream cheese on my bagel. There was almost nothing on it! DONT GO HERE!

I like this place because I dont have to put my own cream cheese on my bagel like other establishments. I havent been sometime. The gentleman that took order was very RUDE!! HE slammed my bagel on the counter and then when I asked for napkins he pointed to the wall. Instead of speaking to me. I know this is Covid 19 but customer service can still be practice !!!

Best bagels with best service! I usually cam only handle two. If you keep it in the fridge for daya, best way to bring it pizzaz back is dab it with water and then toast it up.

Every time I go in this place in the morning there are carry out orders spread out on all of the tables where customers are supposed to be able to sit and eat. There is literally not one table available. Last time I ate here a gentleman staff member was scolding a customer for trying to sit down and he made him go into a corner and eat at a counter so that the precious tables with well-organized carryout orders would not be disturbed. Apparently the system of organization is more of a priority than providing basic customer service. Then, I learned that same gentleman is the manager. We won’t be back. I’ve had too many bad experiences between catching an attitude from the manager who nearly always rings up orders wrong and is really very unnecessarily rude. You shouldn’t have to stand in line at a fast food bagel shop for ten minutes waiting to place an order during rush hour - and being completely ignored by the manager! The bagels are good but the bad service isn’t worth it. We will now enjoy the new spot across the street - the coffee is excellent.

Great customer service

Sigh. This location is the worst. The staff there is extremely unpleasant and rude. I waited 10 min (no lines or crowds) for one toasted bagel with cream cheese and once I inquired about the status they just pointed to the wrapped bagel behind the counter that had been sitting there for who knows how long. Didnt call out my number or let me know it was ready or apologize for delay....nothing. The staff there acts like theyre working against their will. Get a consultant or trainer in there to whip it back into shape!

Disclaimer I am hungover & therefore petty.Positive: Covid protection is set up very well. Cear lines on the path to take inside establishment and guidelines for staying 6 apart, kudos!Negative: The execution of my order was all kinds of botched. Admittedly my order is not traditional but I will not apologise for ordering off the cookie cutter numbers they present you with. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with egg and avocado (savory as f*** and sweet). Cashier read my order back to me, some how there was bacon and swiss cheese on my bagel now🤷‍♀️. She continuously asked if I want bacon, I guess theres a commission structure on pork?After situating the order discrepancies I paid and waited. Once my order was ready I walked to the nearest park for some solitude and eating bliss. Opening up my sandwich to a cheddar cheese, no avocado, and loose egg sandwich, wondering how that all transpired...the hangover continues.

Nice location. Good coffee, but these kids working there...my goodness, they need training. They don’t smile at all. The women on cashier was like a robot! No smile, ni expression, no talk! I felt like I made a mistake by ordering coffee or so !!

Einsteins has awesome bagels and OJ. A go to and favorite for breakfast! Lots of indoor and some outdoor seating.

Me and my wife stopped here one morning for bagels and we couldnt have been more disappointed. The service at the cash register was poor, the bagels that we got (avocado & egg and spinach) were distasteful with little fillings that you could barely see and the order wasnt fulfilled accurately. Try to avoid if you can, it was an unpleasant experience. Its sad because I remember Einstein Bros. was really good back when it had a location at American University (2008 was when I attended as a student) but its closed now unfortunately. Overall, very unsatisfying.

The lady at the cashier with red highlights needs serious HR training. First she got the order wrong and charged us for two extra bagels. Then, she refused to change the order and pay us back the right amount. Ignores customers and is extremely rude. The customers will not leave happy. Go find yourself a different location until their cashier changes. Extremely unsatisfactory.

The male cashier absolutely refused to use my reusable container for a coffee order. I ordered an iced coffee and asked that they use my container (a 20oz hyrodflask) I paid for the largest size and said he didn’t need to fill it all the way up if he was concerned about the size. He refused, then ended up charging me when I thought he was ok with me paying for a large for less coffee. Then he just poured it into a plastic cup anyways. Totally ridiculous that he wouldn’t pour it into my container and he was really rude and misleading.

The second bagel place in Glover Park, this one may slightly improve on the other one. The space is bright and airy with a view of Wisconsin. The food is ok. When I asked for the bagels to be toasted, it seems like they just warm them and not actually toast them. They are about the only thing open early even on weekends which is nice when most other things dont open until 10 or 11 in the neighborhood..

Decent place in glover park to grab a quick morning portabke breakfast. There is often a lack of chairs inside for some reason

A cozy place, with FRESH casual bakery choices, and lunch menu.The cafe has plenty of sitting space both inside and on the deck. Everything is clean and organized. The cashiers and staff are very nice and helpful.

Always, always a terrible service and the food is not good anymore. The manager always with a bad actitud and the employees like they’re not getting paid for their job. Definitely I prefer Bethesda bengals. My last time here at Einstein Bros Bagels in Wisconsin Ave NW. I had a terrible time here once again by the same people.

Should have closed this store rather than the brueggers across the street. 20 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches on a Saturday morning with relatively no line. Called up 5+ customers to ask them to change their order because no more PLAIN bagels.... 20 customers waiting for food with no line of people ordering, how does this happen?

Food is pretty good, but people behind the cashier are rude as hell.

The general manager, who always seems to be running the register when I go there, is kind of brusque and unfriendly. He does, however, clearly run a great operation. Bagels are always delicious and service is extremely efficient.

Bagels are decent but the service is absolutely terrible. If you order anything, expect everyone to act like it is a huge inconvenience. They will also be rude.

Honestly, service is unfriendly and unhelpful... bathroom was covered in sticky coffee (floors, toilet, and sink...covered!) also the management sucks: they lack basic ingredients like hot sauce and they only serve one kind of tea... Next time Im going to Brueggers Bagels across the street

This is the worst Einstein bagels place Ive ever been too. The staff is under trained and sometimes discourteous. Worse yet, they have a real problem with homeless people issuing their outdoor seating as a camp ground. No one takes responsibility for it. It is ridiculous. Einstein corporate should be all over this!!!

Asked the manager (William) where to order and he barked loudly at me from the pay here sign and said HERE! Like everybody else!. I then proceeded to try and order an everything, sesame, cinnamon raisin, and plain bagel and they were out of every one. Never coming back.

I hated this place a year ago when I came here and I hate it again today when I went here. This service is terrible that people are so rude and if the food wasnt good I probably wouldnt go at all. I asked when man for a plain bagel with cream cheese and jelly and after I paid for it he gave me a strawberry jelly. I told him that strawberries gave me a mild allergic reaction and he told me that they didnt have any grape jelly. So now Im stuck with a plain cream cheese bagel and no jelly because they didnt want to relay that to me before they sold me the stupid bagel. Now my day is ruined

Not a good bagel sandwich. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese. The cook neglected to put cheese on it. Then, when I brought it up, he brought a piece of cheese over and placed it on my sandwich without warming it up. Imagine if your Uber driver took you halfway to your destination- that’s what this restaurant feels like.
