Owner and staff are always friendly. Went in because we had to exchange a book was ordered damaged. They took care of it without question and always keep in contact when we do regular orders.

This place was beautiful. It was super clean and smelled amazing. The ladies there were friendly and asked if I needed help soon after walking in. The books are all fairly priced and there is something for everyone. Highly recommend, wish I lived closer.

Negighborhood reads is the one and only bookstore in Washington, Mo. They have a kids section, adult and YA section, and a section with fun things. There is one more room, that room is where they hold events. Over all, I love it.PS... It happens to be right next to the Library, but you need a Library Card to get books from there.

Great little bookstore! This bookstore covers it all - childrens to adult books, local and state themed books as well as gift ideas for all ages. Best reason to go there is not just to find a new book to get lost in, but Neighborhood Reads is alocally owned business!

Neighborhood Reads is adorable! They have a fantastic selection of books and book related gift items, everything has been mindfully curated. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about whats on the shelves. They have all the latest books and old classics to choose from as well as local handmade items. This shop is a pearl in Washington, MO and I bring all of my visiting friends to checking it out.

I love this local shop! Everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to help you find what you need. They have even ordered books that I asked for ahead of time. Quaint neighborhood corner bookstore nestled within a neighborhood of Washington, MO. Owner and staff very interested 7n 5heir customers reading styles and offered help in many areas. Looking to branch out do that 5he locals are entertained. Great emphasis on childrens read and local writers. Nice to have them in the neighborhood, for sure...

I love this shop! The owner and staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming, great senses of humor, and so helpful. The shop is cozy and homey. Its great to have somewhere so close to home where I can go and enjoy books and meet other book lovers.

Very little variation in books. Would rather just go to barns and noble. Tried to ask politely if she needed any help organizing for a part time job she laughed and told me she only gives jobs to frequent customers. Very rude.
