I had the most wonderful experience at Lovely Bride DC! Tabitha was wonderful at getting to know me and what I did/didnt love when it came to a wedding dress. Patient throughout the appointment and actually recommended I try the dress that I eventually said yes too (I was hesitant, but the experts knew best :) )! My dress arrived in a timely manner and the team was really flexible on pick up times. I cant recommend Lovely Bride DC more!

Lovely Bride DC exceeded my expectations about the wedding dress shopping experience. They went above and beyond to accommodate myself, as well as my guests, specifically my Stylist Elizabeth. Elizabeth made the appointment so magical and she made me feel so comfortable. She was so knowledgeable and encouraging and wanted to be part of the experience along side of us. The dress selection at Lovely Bride was incredible and the organization of the appointment was spot on. I had such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

My experience at lively bride DC was awesome! They have a lot of unique options, which was perfect for me. Tabby was wonderful. She was super accommodating, patient, and personable. I never felt pressured to choose immediately. After my first appointment, I was pretty sure I had found my perfect dress here, but I had other appointments lined up elsewhere. After all my other appointments, I made a second appointment at lovely bride to retry the dress, and I knew it was my perfect dress!

She was never pushy but kindly let me know about the time frame I would be expecting for my rushed order. I highly recommend Lovely and Danielle!

My experience was everything bridal gown shopping should be! Tabby was my stylist and she listened to all of my ideas before picking out THE ONE within the first round of dresses. She is truly a wedding gown wizard! She was on point while taking into consideration my budget and vision. Highly recommend for a one stop shop to find the perfect gown!

In terms of pros, the store is in a really great location, and the lighting and ambiance is amazing. The bridal consultant was kind, and she offered to take photos during my appointment. However, the cons really outweighed the experience for me. Lovely Bride had a small selection of bridal gowns compared to other bridal stores that Ive visited in the DMV. I was really surprised that they didnt have as many non-traditional dresses (non-white or blush dresses, jumpsuits, etc.) since theyre known for their indie style. On top of that, the selection is really limited for anyone with a budget under $3k-$4k. During my hour appointment, I only got to try on a 3-5 dresses. I ended up going to other bridal stores afterwards, and I was able to try on between 8-10 dresses. Overall, its a great option for those with higher budgets but not great for those under this price range.

I had such a great experience at Lovely Bride DC! First, it is in the cutest area, and the shop is dreamy in itself (hello natural light windows - that is so rare for a bridal shop!). My bridal consultant Leslie was amazing - she offered thoughtful advice at just the right times, and I never felt rushed or pressured. After several bridal appointments at other shops I realized the experience can really make a difference. I am so happy I was able to say yes to the dress here! Highly recommend!

Super disappointed in the service here. I have had my appointment booked for two months and am traveling from out of state to be there. Got a call the day before the fitting saying they could not do it anymore. Very unprofessional customer service. Will not be traveling back to find a dress with them.

Had an amazing experience! Only the second bridal store we tried and they had a great selection for our lower budget. Beautiful space, with plenty of options. Great covid protocols and communication before hand to make the best use of our time. It only took me 20 min to find the right dress! Tabby was so thoughtful and really listened to what I thought about dresses without being pushy. She got it right on the third dress, helped me be confident in that decision, and suggested simple alterations to make it perfect. Mom was happy with the experience too (and the price) which was important as well. So so so happy that I went to the Lovely Bride.

I bought my dress here and had a great experience! We worked with Tabby who was really lovely through the whole process - really appreciated her selections! She pulled dresses of all price points in my budget and some that I would not have picked but ended up really liking. Also really appreciated that we were the only ones in the store during COVID. Did not feel pressured whatsoever and was so happy to find my dress here.

I absolutely loved my experience at Lovely bride. Tabby was very kind and helpful! So helpful that we found the DRESS! Trying on dresses during COVID can be stressful but Lovely made it easy, fun, cute and the best girls day ever!

There a lot of bad reviews but dont let that stop you. As a thicker WoC, I was scared. But the stylist was amazing (also a WoC who knew my body type) who put me in all the gorgeous gowns and made me feel incredible. Never once did I feel self conscious, or pushed out of my budget, and I fell in love with my dress.

My daughter and I had a great experience at Lovely Bride DC. Tabby was awesome to work with! She listened to what my daughter wanted and pulled additional dresses that were not on her list. I am so happy that my daughter found her dress and that we had a great consultant like Tabby!

Everything about my experience here was fabulous. We were quickly welcomed for our appointment, loved the privacy of the try-on spaces and had an awesome consultant, Tabby. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Lovely Bride.From the moment I walked in, I did not feel welcome or accepted into the studio. I felt like a burden and very rushed.Immediately once we arrived in the dressing room, I began to feel very flustered because the stylist told me the dresses I saved did not pull though onto the profile despite me having also listed my Pinterest link. I suddenly felt very uncomfortable as I could feel the stylist was annoyed since she rushed me through the website as if I was just here to try on a random event dress, not my wedding dress for the first time.Nobody even acknowledged my guest/bridesmaid that was my one person that was allowed to be with me.The stylist was completely unhelpful in giving me assistance choosing between different styles and did not give me any suggestions or advice when I asked for it. I’m very disappointed that my first experience was here.Our appointment was supposed to be an hour long session, however following 35 min the stylist told me she didn’t have what I was looking for after I had only tried on 3 dresses and handed me her business card, ending our session.I will not be recommending Lovely Bride to any of my friends or acquaintances as I do not want them to feel the frustration and discouragement I felt when I left this boutique.

My sister found her dress and veil here and we had an incredible experience! Tabby, the bridal consultant, was extremely helpful and honest. This store is truly size inclusive, which is so refreshing, and their collection is classic and elegant. I definitely recommend this shop for all things bridal!

Lovely Bride DC was the best! While, full disclosure, the first dress I first ordered from here arrived from the designer.. just wrong, Lovely Bride DC was calming, comforting, reassuring and quick to work with me find a replacement dress of my dreams. Shoutout to Danielle and Katie for their endless patience with me through the process. So happy I chose a dress from a store that truly cares about their brides! I would choose Lovely Bride DC again and again if I were to do it all over.

I had a wonderful experience at Lovely Bride DC! Our consultant, Leslie, was incredibly helpful. She selected some gowns for me to try on and then allowed me to try on different styles and any gowns I might still want to try out. I ended up selecting one of the gowns she picked out for me! She knew exactly what I was looking for. It was an all-around relaxed and fun experience with some bubbles at the end after selecting my gown! Love this place!

I came to DC from out of town this past weekend and had my first appointment at Lovely Bride. The experience was truly flawless. I called a couple days before to see if I could extend my appointment by 30 minutes but their schedule was booked. Danielle called me the day before my appointment letting me know some things had moved around and I could definitely stay longer if I needed to. She also pulled most of the designs I was interested in before I even got in the dressing room. She never pushed or hovered, but gave her opinion subtly and made me feel amazing about my choices. I left without buying a dress and still felt 0 pressure. I called the shop the next day to ask If I could try the dress on one last time even though I didnt have an appointment and they welcomed me back. I ended up buying an incredible dress and had an amazing time. To top it ALL off, I emailed Danielle the next day and had a sudden change of heart about the color. She immediately emailed me back and let me swap it out before she placed the order. UNREAL. I couldnt recommend this place more. And Danielle is incredibly professional, helpful and an overall gem.

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish at Lovely Bride DC! Out of the three bridal boutiques I visited in DC that weekend, Lovely Bride had the best selection of dresses, most helpful, knowledgeable, and genuine stylists, and the most fun and welcoming atmosphere.My mom and older sister came with me, and we had Erin as our stylist; Erin was phenomenal! She listened intently to the style of dress I was interested in, and she pulled at least 15 GORGEOUS dresses for me to try, all of which aligned with my dress style and interests. Erin was also very patient and kind throughout the whole process and urged me to take my time snapping pictures and talking with my family, as it is a big decision. :) Additionally, Erin was meticulous and took her time helping me in and out of each gown, which I appreciated very much; it was evident that she took the whole process seriously and wanted me to look my best when trying on each gown.Lastly, once I said “YESS to the dress!” we worked with Danielle, who was equally as helpful and welcoming (and who also sold my sister her wedding dress two years prior!).All in all, a wonderful experience and an enjoyable day that I am still reliving with my mom and sister! I would absolutely recommend Lovely Bride DC to any new bride-to-be searching for her perfect dress!

I am a older plus size woman and I was a little skeptical on trying wedding gowns on. Would they have anything to fit me or would they have a small selection. I was pleased to find an array of gowns.Tabby was wonderful she is professional, personable, and attentive. She pulled gowns the meet my description. After 4 gowns I said Yesss to the dress and Im so grateful to find it the first time looking. Ladies if you are looking for a wedding dress and want to have a private showing just you and your friends, go to LOVELY you will not be disappointed.

Had the best first time experience here. Believe the reviews: Tabby is the best. I went alone as my own entourage and Tabby acted as my confidante, personal advisor, and photographer. She was acutely aware of my budget and style aesthetic and accurately found me dresses that respected both.There are negative reviews here about the scent, but I have severe asthma and didnt run into any trouble. I actually found it really enjoyable and relaxing. My only con came to parking, but in Georgetown, thats the deal wherever youre shopping.Tabby made my first time shopping a breeze and I look forward to returning later this year with my family to buy :)

The service was great! I visited several places this day and this was by far the best staff and service. I worked with Erin and she was amazingly helpful and nice!

It has taken me MONTHS to figure out what kind of dress I wanted, and it ended up being the first one I tried on! Danielle greeted me upon arriving and was very nice and professional. I was a little early so I had to wait a couple minutes for my stylist Lizzie to finish up with another bride, and then Lizzie asked me a bunch of questions to figure out what I was looking for. She was so sweet and patient and I felt like she really understood what I wanted. She showed me around the showroom, we picked out a bunch of dresses, and then I spent the next hour trying them on. Lizzie always let me react to the dresses first, but gave her honest feedback too, which was great because I was by myself and really wanted her opinion. Overall, a really fun, relaxed experience, and I was able to find my dress! Id definitely recommend Lovely Bride and Lizzie. Just a note - theres absolutely no parking so consider taking public transportation.

Lovely bride - such an appropriate name for a LOVELY SHOP! I worked with Jennifer and although I did not buy my dress there, my experience was completely perfect. It was my first time trying ton dresses and she made me feel SO comfortable and made sense of my scatter-brained preferences. The shop is so beautiful and elegant - I would recommend shopping here to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about this Lovely Bride location! Its a beautiful shop carefully curated with unique, quality designers dresses that you wont find anywhere else in the Virginia/DC/Maryland area. Making an appointment was a breeze (more places should offer online booking!) and we had no trouble finding parking. Although I was skeptical, the one hour appointment actually was the perfect amount of time to hone in on the dress I was looking for without being too overwhelmed with options.Between my two visits to the shop, my vision and wedding plans changed, but the staffs patience and commitment to make sure I walked away happy never did. My perfect wedding day started with the perfect gown, and I am forever grateful to Lovely Bride for making that happen.

I was on vacation visiting DC with my mom and sister, as a newly engaged woman. As a hesitant future bride, I wasnt very interested in beginning the process of looking for a dress, but my sister dragged me to the appointment she had made at the Lovely Bride DC. What a pleasure it was! Tabby was my coordinator, and she hit the mark on every single dress and design. She put my apprehension at bay, and was able to ease my anxiety. She is a complete professional, and the three of us cannot stop talking about what a WONDERFUL first experience this was. Lovely Bride DC was hands down thee best of all stores I had visited to find my dress. I ended up purchasing here and I am so glad that I did. First, the space is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It feels very classy, but that I am also stepping into a Lovely environment and not a standard/typical bridal shop. I loved the natural lighting as well.Before I went to Lovely, I thought I had a pretty solid idea of their selection and styles, but I was WRONG. Lovely had MANY MORE options than I could have imagined. Not only were the dress designs unique, but the types of fabric I was exposed to were fabrics I had not seen at other places (or at least been educated on in other stores).I went to at least 6 other stores and the quality and price at Lovely is unbeatable. No other store provided that same value. I am a very logical shopper - so I really did my due diligence in finding a dress. I wanted something reasonably priced, timeless, and of high quality. I also feel like the staff was very helpful / could style things well. I felt like Lovely knew how to pair items, which made me feel like I had options for veil, earrings, etc. Danielle was really knowledgeable about my options for getting the exact look I wanted.I also really enjoyed the appointment. My mom is really difficult to please, but Danielle did an amazing job handling the dynamics of the situation. As an MBA graduate, I can tell when sales people are trying to be salesy and push you to make a decision (which did happen at other stores). Lovelys staff was genuine and NOT pushy at all.I am so happy with my dress and I cant wait until it comes in. We were greeted upon arrival and our stylist was genuinely interested in getting to know the bride (my sister) and what she was looking for! She offered a unique and helpful shopping experience. We were SO pleased to find a dress here!!!

My first try on experience for wedding dresses couldnt have gone more perfect! Jessica was beyond helpful and took the time to really make sure every dress I tried on was one that I loved! They have such a unique collection of wedding dresses that you just cant find anywhere else. I cannot wait to be back in a month and make a final decision!

After trying on close to 80 wedding dresses, dealing with plenty of rude, pushy stylists, driving all over creation to try new boutiques, and months of shopping both online and in-person, I was SO delighted to finally visit Lovely Bride.When I originally made the appointment, I was really excited to see that they carried designers I’d been watching for years but couldn’t seem to find anywhere else. Unfortunately, when I arrived I was informed that many of the specific styles I’d wanted to try on had not been received by this particular store yet. But, before I could even begin to feel disappointed, my stylist had already come up with multiple dresses for me to try on- all similar to what I’d wanted and within my price point. She took the time to listen to me, look at the pictures I’d brought, and do her best to work with me to find exactly what I wanted. I was able to describe which aspects of each dress I loved, and be honest about the ones I disliked without her feeling offended (many of the stylists from other boutiques had been very cold toward me when I disliked a dress they pulled for me, which made things very uncomfortable). I could express my opinions, try on as many dresses as I wanted, take pictures of each style, and feel comfortable enough to make a decision without feeling pressured. My stylist allowed me to try on a variety of different styles (which is very uncommon), helping me to find the one I felt the best in. I ended up finding my wedding dress at my first appointment here, and was delighted to find out shipping would only be 4-5 months- most places were telling me I couldn’t even order a dress if it was less than 10 months from my date. I was so happy with my experience, that I texted each of the girls I knew that were engaged and told them to book a visit with Lovely Bride when they were ready to shop. I believe my stylist’s name was Jenny, and I thought she was absolutely wonderful!

Had the most magical experience three weeks ago in Georgetown. The gowns were more than I couldve imagined! Danielle made the appointment so fun! Cannot wait to wear my Made with love Sasha gown!

The specialist was a bit distracted and was busy talking to her associates to really help me pick out dresses. I specifically went for a trunk show and had added comments about three dresses I was looking to try from this one stylist. They didnt have any of the three and wanted to charge me 100 PER DRESS to get them in the store to try, which was the only reason I went there in the first place.It was a small boutique I think I would prefer like a place with a few more options.

Limited selection at this shop but the staff is kind and helpful. They don’t allow you to bring in any beverages, so my friends brought a bottle of Prosecco that they had to keep in their bag which was kind of disappointing! I really wanted to purchase my dress here, but the selection was so limited that it wasn’t possible!

Beautiful, spacious and light filled shop with multiple dressing rooms and waiting areas, Staff was kind, thoughtful and realized and made the experience a delight! So many choices and price points and Katie was terrific, and such fun. Thank you.

Dresses were in terrible condition. The space was really nice but just felt grimey trying dresses that were stained and ripped. Wish they were more proactive in suggesting dresses too.

Although I clearly stated my budget was $2,000 or less when scheduling my appointment, I was only shown dresses well above that limit and the assistant did not even try to hide her disdain for my budget. She also clearly concluded we were not worth her time and was brusque and unhelpful. She asked where else we had looked and I told her we had just been to the BHLDN collection at Anthropologie. She sniffed at that and said all of their gowns were “mass produced” and cheap. I actually ended up loving my BHLDN gown, which needed minimal alterations and fit like it was made for me, and the experience at Anthropologie was pure joy! Don’t bother with this snobbery, go somewhere you can enjoy being a bride to be!
