Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience at Nazemi Bridal. My dress was a lace fitted dress and they were a recommended tailor. I had 3 main complaints with the work.1. The work was not well done, and it was very obvious to see that the dress was hemmed. They did not trim the lace after hemming, so there was a double layer above the hem which left a clear a white line.2. When I came in, I asked for the dress to be hemmed and fitted. They insisted on also putting in a bustle, and I was given a quote. When I came for a try on, they had not fitted the dress at all, and when I inquired why not and said that that would be an additional charge. I was very clear the first time that I wanted it fitted and hemmed, and they had assured me that they would do that as well as the bustle. I was not happy with the additional charge, but the bill was not itemized and at the time I felt stuck and I didnt argue.3. It was incredibly expensive. Me, not knowing better and knowing that lace dresses are difficult to tailor, paid it without double checking what average tailoring costs online.I was supposed to get married in early 2020, but we postponed due to COVID. I lost quite a bit of weight, and repurchased the same dress in a smaller size. I took it to a different tailor, and they did significantly better work for less than a third of the cost, and did not try and add additional charges half way through the fitting. Had I worn the dress that Nazemi Bridal had tailored, I would have been disappointed with my wedding pictures pictures. Hoping they do better work and are more clear with customers in the future.

I had my wedding dress altered at Nazemi Bridal and couldnt have had a better experience. Although parking in Georgetown isnt very easy, the shop itself is very serene and calming and the fittings always went smoothly. The work they do is incredible! I still cant believe how seamlessly they hemmed the very delicate scalloped lace at the bottom of my dress - they are absolute masters, which is worth the expense to get a perfect fit. My dress fit gorgeously on my wedding day. I wouldnt go anywhere else for dress alterations for big events.

I had a wonderful experience with Tannaz and her team at Nazemi Bridal. I had a fitting in May, June, and July for my August wedding, and she was professional, kind, and helpful. Her shop is beautiful and she knows exactly what alterations to make to help you look your best. I had no idea how to bustle a dress but she showed me a few options to choose between. We ended up going with a french bustle that had nine ribbons, but she made it easy for me to learn how to put them all together. My dress came back completely clean with no visible seams, and she also gave me advice for steaming and pressing the dress before the big day. I got so many compliments on my dress and felt absolutely amazing in it all night.

Incredible! They were amazing and worked quickly to make a bustle change. Their work is of high quality. I highly recommend them for alterations.

Nazemi Bridal isnt cheap, and dragging a dress around Georgetown is not fun...but she is patient, kind, and the service you get is worth the money. My dress fit perfectly, and I felt like an absolute queen on my wedding day. I would highly recommend her!

I called them to ask about their availability and the woman who answered said, “we are closed today”. I then asked what the usual weekly hours are and then she hung up on me. I called right back (just in case the line had only cut off) and it rang and rang and then went to the voicemail. Not very welcoming :-(

I got my wedding dress altered at Nazemi Bridal, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! Tannaz and staff did an absolutely beautiful job, and expertly took in the dress after a third fitting without charge because I had lost weight, and what I had already paid included that additional alteration. Tannaz with was very responsive via phone and email, and was absolutely wonderful to work with. On my first visit I asked their opinion on my shapewear, and Tannaz very kindly let me know that the shapewear that was sold to me to wear under my wedding dress was too dark in color, and created some extra skin in the back. She advised me on what shapewear I should purchase instead, and she was 100% right (she also saved me about $100!). The store itself is so clean and beautiful, I felt very comfortable that my dress was there. They are pricey, but wedding dress alterations in general is pricey if you want peace of mind that your dress is safe, and your seamstress has experience in specifically altering wedding dresses, which is a particular craft. Tannaz and staff truly know what they are doing! Every penny was well spent, and I ended up getting my dress steamed there as well. I felt gorgeous on my wedding day, and I am so grateful to Tannaz and staff for the wonderful work they did.
