I just wanted to say thank you to Jasmine Whitaker who was my technician at this facility. She went above and beyond to help me with the problems I was having with my laptops. Her level of professionalism and fast, yet accurate information gave me a sense of comfort for leaving my laptops with her! She kept me informed the entire time!! I can’t say thank you enough!!

No problems with the repair. Everything went smoothly. Only complaint is the ads that play for ubreakifix (while Im already there, you already have my business) are very loud and very annoying.

Dont waste your monies. It will not be the same as before. Took it back twice and no improvements. Screen sensitivity is different to the point where its almost unusable, functionality is different even after an OS reset, screen fit is terrible, and so on and so on.Edit: after one month the screen went black. The shop wants me to pay again to fix it. Its a joke, stay away.

Wonderful service and Candice was amazing. The phone came back looking even better than when I first bought it and Im sure the internal screen of a Galaxy Z Fold2 is not the easiest!

I completely thought I was going to have to get a new phone- my screen was destroyed and the LCD was barely working at all. I came to uBreakiFix in Georgetown at the recommendation of a friend and was blown away by their customer service as well as the speed and efficiency with which they fixed my phone. They even gave me a free screen protector. I Will 100% go back!

I had a minor crack in my iPhone. I have asurion and their website directed me to uBreak to get it replaced. Two weeks later my new screen had one deep scratch and other scratches covered the whole area of the phone. Four months later the whole thing shattered when it fell out of my pocket on to the floor three feet below.I don’t think the replacement screen they put in was anywhere near the quality of the original iPhone glass. I’m not sure if uBreak or Asurion guarantees a genuine replacement, but either way it would have been more cost effective to just trade the cracked phone in at AT&T than roll the dice with that aftermarket garbage.

The Cleveland Park is a fantastic location of UBreakIFix. The two staff members I connected with Jahi and Randall were very helpful and friendly. I had liquid damage on my MacBook Pro and they cleaned the corrosion free of charge. I will definitely come back again and I got very lucky that my computer didn’t have further damage — word of advice, as soon as you spill liquid, go to a UBreakIFix for a diagnostic as soon as humanly possible to minimize the damage.

Id give them 10 stars if I could, just for the fact that they remain open during the pandemic - 7 days a week! I called them and they told me they would call me back when a replacement part for my phone was in stock. They did follow up, and they called me more than once to update me on the progress. Then they scheduled an appointment window for me. They told me it would take two hours. I came back in two hours, and everything was perfectly fine, fixed, and ready for me to pick up. The gentleman who spoke to me on the phone and the lady at the front desk who took my phone in for repair - both of them were incredibly welcoming, friendly and caring. And I also witnessed that a customer right before me received a piece of electronics back which this place was unable to fix entirely, but they explained to him what they found to be wrong, and they did not charge him anything even though they had spent their time and effort to work on his device. I know places which would have charged their customers at least a partial fee for the effort. Bottom line - this is an excellent place! Highly recommend.

They claimed that I would not be able to tell the difference between an iPhone 8 Plus fixed here versus directly with Apple. I certainly could tell the difference when I exposed the “fixed” phone to liquid (keep in mind, the phone is supposed to be water resistant, and I had previously had no issues). They did not communicate this crucial difference and did not make it right.

My S10+ screen was perfectly repaired by Randall and Candice today. It took less than two hours, and my phone is as good as new. These pros deserve our patronage.

My phone looks better than ever before and I saved a ton of money compared to if I had went directly to the Apple Store (without AppleCare, of course). Amazing service! Fixed my pixel 3 xl screen (they happened to have one already in stock) in just a few hours. Clean fix, phone looks brand new and service was courteous and professional. Cost was a bit pricey, but honestly, the job will be done correctly and well, so its worth every penny. Will be taking another phone there shortly.

Really spectacular service here. I got referred from the Bethesda location as they didnt have the necessary parts, so I came to this one. Candace was amazingly helpful, she cleaned my charging port and gave me some advice that saved me having to pay for water damage. Ill definitely come back here if I ever have a problem with any device.

The staff was super nice. However, they emailed me saying that my water damaged phone was working but needed a screen replacement for connectivity issues. Luckily, I picked it up to see if the Apple Store could do it instead and when I brought it to the Apple store, they turned the phone on and the phone (and screen) was working perfectly. I unfortunately got the feeling that they were hoping Id respond back to the email and tell them to go ahead with a $270+ screen replacement. My phone continues to work perfectly after they dried it out, free of charge.

I walked in for a free water damage diagnostic and was told I’d be phone less till Saturday. But Randall and the team were so amazing not only did they save my phone, but I got it back by end of day the same day! Great service and great price!

Friendly, helpful staff. Fixed my laptop (replaced the keyboard) within a week. The price was half of what I anticipated and the service far exceeded what I would have received if I followed instructions from the Apple geniuses. BTW Apple would not have replaced my keyboard; they would have replaced the motherboard and charged me $1,500. I would use U Break I Fix for all of my electronic issues.

I love these guys! Most honest and up front people around! They know their stuff and I alway feel that they are genuinely concerned with getting your repair right. I had one bad experience with replacement iPhone glass a ways back but they totally took care of me. I recommend if you have any problems or questions phone or computer related that you go here first before the Apple store or Best Buy.

Edit: I finally got around to plugging my laptop in and it didnt turn on. It turns out when I used my power adapter it fried the whole system ruining my laptop. It was working before I brought it in, but now it is totally destroyed. So I basically paid $40 dollars for someone to ruin my laptop. Im beyond disappointed, but I guess there isnt anything I can do.I had a small problem with my PC. They opened it up to diagnose it for free. It was a simple fix. They patched it up right there on the spot. Couldnt ask for anything more. It cost me 40 bucks. In my mind thats a steal; they saved me several hundred.

I came in with my Mac Book Air which had either a battery or a charger issue. They diagnosed the issue for free; charger was busted I had bought it on Amazon at a deep discount. The technician, who was very polite and professional, recommended I buy a new charger at Best Buy and I was out in under 15 minutes! The store was clean and had plenty of comfortable seating with magazines and TV.I chose this shop over the Apple Store in Georgetown in part because of their poor Yelp reviews, and also because my husband had a similar positive experience here. My husbands PC crashed after Windows 10 installed itself onto his computer, he dropped the computer off overnight without an appointment and it was as good as before by the next day.

The staff is very friendly and straight forward with what was wrong with my laptop. Their turn around time is very quick. They are right off of the Cleaveland Park metro station which makes them very quick and easy to get to!

I believed getting my important, not-backed-up data off of my old phone with a shattered screen was a lost cause, but I had to try. I have a new one now, but I still needed that data that did not make the transfer. I just walked into the store, and within 30 minutes I had my precious data - for which I only paid about $30! I came in with a cracked front screen and smashed back case. I had gone to no less than three separate stores and all had turned me away into the dark. To put it quite plainly, I was at the bottom of my rope. But this place, this sanctuary, not only had both parts, not only fixed my entire phone in under 3 hours, not only charged me a more than fair price for both the repair and the case I subsequently bought, they also guaranteed my phones protection, and renewed my warranty, as they are an official partner of Google. They were kind, courteous, and honest. I would highly recommend their services.

Preferred place for AT&T insurance customers. Cracked my phone screen on a Thursday late afternoon. Took 5 minutes to setup an appointment through my insurance, which was followed up by the store calling to confirm an appointment time. Dropped my phone off at 10:20 am Friday and I picked it up at 1230 pm same day. Good as new. Only cost $50 on my next AT&T bill so no money up front. Would bring a phone here even if I didnt have insurance. Got what I asked for in the time they said it would be ready, with no pushy sales person pushing upgrades or accessory gimmicks. Amazing how often this type of transaction fails to happen these days. At least uBreakiFix understands what their customers want.

I went to this uBreakiFix (conveniently located steps away from the Cleveland Heights metro station) and they had a screen on my Pixel 2XL in 45 minutes that looked like new.Id recommend this company (and this location in particular) to anyone who has anything wrong with their device.

Excellent, courteous service. Even though I have an international phone, which posed some difficulties, the staff patiently did what they could till my phone issues were resolved.

I had a new screen put on by another uBreakiFix in another state and it stopped working correctly a few days later. That shop didnt have any more screens. When I told them I would be traveling the following week they said I could take it to any shop and they would honor the warranty and fix it.Fast forward to today. I brought my device in and the person behind the counter was understandably skeptical because the damage appeared to be physical. They took me at my word however and opened the phone up only to find that the previous repair had been done incorrectly leaving a piece protruding from the board causing the new screen to crack from behind. They even came out to show me what had happened.They had it back together in no time with a new screen and sent me on my way. They were very professional and never accusing while still trying to make sure they werent getting taken advantage of. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!

This company quickly and without charge cleaned my laptop which had sticking keyboard keys. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful and took a good deal of time answering various questions I had. I highly recommend UbreakIfix.

My husband was having issues with his Samsung Galaxys charging port. The woman at the front desk did a quick fix, and voilà! It was good as new! Super friendly and informative about their quality control standards + warranties as well.

Taking the average I give 3.I took my MacBook in because it was running slow. I suspected software. But they said my hard drive was failing and replaced it. However, 1. They didnt format it optimally for my type/age of MacBook. 2. My computer was still slow once I put things back on it so clearly the HD wasnt (at least the only) issue and 3. They didnt even put back all my data/files but didnt even tell me! It wasnt until I noticed things missing that i called and they confirmed they didnt put back all my files. Luckily I had my own backup. So after all that and $200+ later, Im back where I started.ORIGINAL:Brought my laptop in after replacing trackpad and it stopped working. They ran a diagnostic test for FREE, discovered I had a faulty new trackpad so I could contact the company I bought it from for a new one myself or they could replace for a fee. Fantastic! Much appreciated.

Ive had a couple good experiences here. Everyone knows Apple will bleed you dry for repairs and these guys can often get the job done for far less. My last repair was estimated at $500+ at the Genius bar, which basically meant my machine was totaled. I brought it by UBreak, and they got it working again for $125. Still works 6 months later. Pretty happy with the whole experience.

I either replaced the glass on iPhone 4S or have someone else do it. I opted for this store after deciding I needed one less hassle in life! The glass was replaced fairly quickly, within the day, so minimal separation anxiety. Im giving it 3 stars cause of pricing, like give a first time customer a promo or offer student discounts. And if a customer asks about these kind of things then take it into consideration, dont dismiss it.

My iphone 4s got a little trip to the washing machine in one of my pants pockets. I dried it out for two days but unfortunately the power and home buttons were shot. I brought it to uBreakiFix. They tested it for free over 24hrs then replaced the parts and my phone was ready (brought it in Thurs. tested and fixed by Sat. evening). They gave me a discount so it was hundreds less than getting a refurbished phone from Apple.Nice people to deal with too.

Best Repair Store Ever!I first contacted this place because of their high reviews. I was wary because I know some computer repair shops can be sketchy.I gave them a call and the person who answered was really helpful and friendly. That was the 2nd signal for me to come here specifically even though it was a 30 minute drive.I brought my laptop in and was helped by another very friendly and helpful associate. She even told me if it’s a small fix like the screen cord being loose they wouldn’t charge me. Luckily enough it was a loose screen cord. The issue was resolved and they didn’t even charge me!Thank You!

Great customer service. Without fail, you can walk in to this store, explain your problem in less than 60 seconds and theyll offer you a reliable, inexpensive and convenient solution. Repairs are generally done within the same day - sometimes less than an hour, if you can stick around and wait. Phone insurance and geniuses would have a hard time topping this place.

I went there to changed my G2 battery last three years. They said that I have to wait around two weeks because they didnt have my battery in stock. I understand and willing to wait. After I get my phone back, I didnt check it properly at the store because I have positive opinion about this store by reading a lot of comments. I found out that all the edges of my phone were scratched. It was like they are trying hard to open the side and without knowing well about this phone.If they could tell me that they dont know how to change this G2 battery which I know that not many people are using it. I would love to take it back.I think this store is good for people who are using the phone that are popular in the market.

I would like to edit my review from three months ago. This time, I came in with my 2012 MacBook pro which did not power on. The staff confirmed it was a board issue due to moisture and it was fixed in less than a week, from dropoff to pickup. The service was quick, and the staff was incredibly responsive and communicative the entire time the machine was with them. They even put on new feet for no charge (two were missing).Customer traffic was light when I came in for the pickup, and Randall and the dude with great glasses whose name I forget were incredibly helpful in discussing options to improve the speed of my machine; cleaning the machine and keeping out moisture; and the merits of keeping it or buying a newer model. Randall, Candace and the awesome glasses guy were courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. Thanks everyone!

N6P battery replacement. Walked in off street (no appt) about 10:15 . Done at 11:30. Fast service! Nice staff.

Brought in an iPod touch thinking I needed a battery replacement and expecting to spend about $50. Two phone calls from them -- day after bringing it in that it didnt need a battery asking if they could try restoring it. Sure. Next day -- its done. Picked it up -- total cost $9.50. Wow.Excellent service, friendly and great prices.

They were wonderful in helping with my unique PC issue. I have a full tower custom built gaming unit that showed visable case damage to the support of the power supply, along with displaced ram from my UAB shipment upon returning back to the states. Seeing how much of a hit it took in transit I was worried about what was not so obvious. I spoke with the staff about my concerns and if there was actual operational damage. They listened, were courteous and very professional. They notified me the next day that the damage was merely cosmetic. They ran a full diagnostic on it and there were no error/ trouble codes and the PC was up and running. Larry even was able to adjust the metal case to support the power supply in its proper position. I could not have wished for a better result.

Took my nexus 6p here for a new screen. they were fast, and it works. It wasnt cheap, but it was cheaper than a new phone.

I had a shattered macbook screen and brought it in. I had already ordered the replacement glass online so they only charged me for labor, whereas other stores had refused to fix it with my screen and were charging $200+. The staff was polite, prompt, and very communicative about time frames and prices. Plus, if they are unable to fix a device or are only able to get it working partway there is absolutely no charge. Highly recommend this place.

I called the store and spoke with a lady who told me too make an appointment online, and that theyll be able to fix my phone that day. When I arrived to my appointment, I was told that I would have to leave my phone overnight. The miscommunication really messed my day up and prevented me from getting my phone fixed on that day.

This store had great communication, and the repairs were timely. However, I am so disappointed by my repaired laptop. The keyboard has lost many of its functions, including its backlighting. The TrackPoint in the middle of the keyboard no longer works, nor does the two-finger scroll feature of the trackpad. I believe the store was probably using low-quality or off-brand parts. For almost $350 for a new keyboard and trackpad, I believed that my laptop was going to be good as new. I feel swindled.Edit: shortly after I posted this review, they contacted me and fixed everything. So it took longer than expected, but my laptop works again

I cracked my iPhone screen REALLY bad and almost bought a new phone but I found out this was a certified repair shop through Asurion, paid my deductible ($29...through Verizon) and walked out just an hour later with a brand new screen! Saved me SO much money!

Fast and efficient, did just what I expected, explained the options well.

Poor communication. PS3s are definitely not their specialty. Never got a call after 24-48 hours. I had to call them myself only for them to tell me that my system couldnt be fixed.

Location lost my phone case and did not complete service on my phone until after I called repeatedly over 3 weeks. Stated it was a problem with charging port and charged me for the replacement. Issue was not resolved and I took my phone to another location where it was repaired under warranty for a motherboard replacement.When I went to retrieve my replacement case from this location for having lost mine and the associate tried to charge me for that, too.A lack of professionalism and record keeping made my interactions with this particular business location a nightmare.

I went in believing I had a cracked screen, but Candace diagnosed that it was merely the screen protector that was cracked. She could have taken advantage of my obliviousness, but did not. I will return when I have a real issue.

Easiest fix I’ve ever had!

I hope for everyone elses sake that my experience was due to the fact that I had a less common phone (One Plus One).Came to the store with a cracked unresponsive touch screen with a replacement screen I ordered from eBay. That saved me about $100 dollars in repair costs(or $25 because the screen cost $75). They said it would be ready by the end of the day. It wasnt. No sweat because I was enjoying using my replacement flip phone. Anyway, when I finally get a call from uBreakiFix they tell me that the new screen I ordered and brought to them was defective. I okd them to charge me the $100 extra dollars to get their replacement screen. I thought at least Id be able to send the defective screen back and get a refund from the eBay seller but when I got the call to pick up the fixed phone there was no defective screen with my phone. The cashier told me to call back when the person who repaired the phone would be able to locate it. When I called they let me know they broke my defective screen in the process of fixing my phone. Welp, no eBay refund for me.UPDATE: A month later my screen starts to register finger presses without being touched. Thank you, uBreakiFix.. Got $100 extra dollars out of me, another screen, and never really fixed my phone if its broken again. I dont recommend anyone going here based on my experience.

My PC stopped working 4 months ago so I took it to the ubreakifix in Pittsburgh for reparation. They detected an issue with the motherboards battery and replaced it, with a 90 days warranty. The warranty ended on June 4th and guess what happens on June 5th? My PC stops working again. Funny coincidence huh?Now I live in DC and took it to another UbreakIfix in Cleveland Park that diagnosed it as irreparable and that there is an issue with the motherboard, which basically means that I can throw away my PC. So I called the HQs to tell the story and they got in touch with the stores only to tell me that the store in DC didnt do a thorough diagnostic and that they will do a 2nd one! They now finished their second diagnostic but still nothing. So I called Lenovo to get their help, and it turned out that I could reboot my machine using the emergency reset button... So Ive been without computer for a month because ubreakifix was trying to do their diagnostics but they didnt think of trying this simple fix... anyways, its just been a series of unpleasant experiences and surprises and a tedious fruitless process so I would not advise to go to this place for your electronics repairs! Waste of time and energy!

I cannot recommend this place enough. My phone screen was so shattered that piece of it were just falling off The folks at apple said they had to wait for some calibration machine to get back started and I might have to wait as long as a week to get it fixed. As someone who uses their phone for work all day, this posed a huge challenge.I went to their location (admittedly a bit skeptical) and was greeted promptly and efficiently. It took them less than two hours on a sunday afternoon to fix my iphone 5s and it was 30 bucks cheaper than apple.Not only that, I left my ID in their store, and the supervisor ran after me to make sure I had that and an extra copy of the receipt.Theyre such first rate people and i cannot thank them enough for turning a stressful weekend into a blissful one.
