I recently moved to peoria and was looking for a card shop. Found the perfect spot with Zeeks, they made me feel welcomed. Super friendly, knowlegeable, and fair.

Is Zeeks a place you should check out? What a stupid question! Of course you should! Whats holding you back?!I understand the appeal of digital comics and even the deals you find online to have them mailed to you. I also understand the appeal of bargain shopping for your tpb/hardcovers online. But nothing beats a good locally owned store. You wanna know why? Because you wont get good customer service and friendships elsewhere. Zak and his team will learn your name, get to know you, and your reading preferences. Zak will even surprise you with free comics and discounts on merchandise. He wants you to be a loyal customer and hes even willing to partner up with other businesses and organizations. When he makes a mistake, he owns it and corrects it.

Stop what youre doing right now and go to Zekes. Youre on this page for a reason: good quality comics, collectable, and cards. Zekes has all of this plus more with the bonus of being the most friendly and welcoming place in the area. Zeke himself is such an extremely kindhearted guy and will always give you the best deals while kicking butt tabletop gaming at the same time. If youre on the fence about going to Zeeks Comics, do it. Its 100% worth your time and money. 10/10 store

The owner, Zeek, is a great guy who is clearly passionate about his store and is great with kids. My kids all come into the store on a semi weekly basis and the employees are SO PATIENT as they will spend lots of time going through the pokemon card binders. Its a sense of community here and is a gem in Washington.

I travel a lot for work, so I’m always hitting up new comic shops when I get a chance. This is the second-worst store I’ve ever been to (and my local store is unfortunately the worst).I had no issue with the actual place. It was clean, well-organized, and had a variety of nerd-centric items. The guy working the counter, however, was totally rude and condescending. Poor customer service will always prevent me from returning for repeat visits. I wish I would’ve avoided this place and saved my time and money.

Easily the best shop in central Illinois I have been to. Awesome casual and inclusive environment for all gaming needs. Easily ordered products for small market games as well as main line games.

Very nice place to play Warhammer 40K... everyone that plays are local. Wish the gaming space was a little larger and had access to window because the game is very intriguing and can grab peoples interest since not very many people know of are Craft or Talents..

Helpful owner, willing to teach new games. Store and community is growing. I have felt welcome every time I have been there. Note for interested people: the store rarely buys old comics or cards (at the time of this post, but that may change in the future). But if you are a regular patron the owner may take a look. Come join the rest of us, there is bound to be something fun to try.

The owner is great. He remembers his customers and knows what to offer as suggestions. We have been happy that this business is close to our home. The whole family enjoys going there.

Zeek has one of the most chill and relaxing places in Peoria. The friendly community they foster drew me back. I commute there most weekends from Canton. That should tell you how much I enjoy the community there.

Zeek is there pretty much anytime the store is open. What makes this place great is that the owners love the genre and are fans just like the patrons. If you need a recommendation on what to read or play, just ask. They are willing to help out. Also new remodeling means the gaming areas are enclosed from the sales floor, offering a little more privacy for shoppers and players. They offer different gaming options on various nights, usually demos and instruction of you are new to the games.

The owner is very knowledgeable on the subject of comics (duh) but he aslo is extremely personable and helpful taking time to make sure you walk out of his shop the the best comic for you personally. The shop is also very clean and organized, there is also a section for local games and things of that nature i love this shop it is well worth the drive to Washington

Zeek and the team there are awesome. Nice people who run a nice place. I have been in and out of Zeeks Comics a lot this past year, playing minis and magic off and on. In that time the store has really developed as a place to shop and game. The new separation of the store/game lounge really made both aspects of the store shine in my opinion. This addition makes for a nice shopping and gaming experience. So if your into tabletops, TCGs, comics or even just shopping for a friend or loved one this is a great place to check out.

I love this shop, I wish it was my hometown comic book store. Every staff member Ive interacted with has been both knowledgeable and helpful, they go out of their way to get you exactly what you want, and if they dont have something they are more than happy to help you get what youre looking for. I was in chatting with Zeek himself and in just a few minutes of talking with him I feel like we would be actual friends if I lived in this town. Hes an insane wealth of knowledge and seems to know something interesting about every topic comic book related. Im seriously entertained just talking with them, and their excitement is contagious. They also do games here, and while its not my thing exactly, you can tell that theres a passion shared by the staff that would make that experience quite enjoyable. Wonderful environment and its location is quite easy to travel to. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comic books, collectables, cards and gaming.

The place has grown since i first went in there and they now have a larger store thats a bit easier to navigate. Owner is really nice and helpful, and theres usually some pretty good deals!
