When a connection on my wedding band split I did nothing about it for over a year because I thought it would be an expensive hassle to fix. On a friends recommendation I finally brought it to the team at Charles Schwartz and they made everything so easy. They gave me options, explained everything and now my wedding band is better than it was originally.I had such a fantastic experience I bought a new ring Id been considering for months - love this locally owned store.

I went into this jewelers with no idea of what I wanted. The store was beautifully laid out and the staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. There was absolutely no pressure! I walked out not only a great deal smarter, but with a lovely piece of jewelry.

Went in for a dial swap on a vintage Rolex. Was completed next day at a very reasonable rate. Decided to come here after a bad experience with the one man shop in Bethesda, who held onto my watch for over a week without starting on it. So glad I came to Charles Schwartz & Son. I highly recommend this place and their master watchmaker. I will be back for sure.

The salesman helped me find an item in my price range (hundreds, not thousands) . He was very personable and helpful. While he cleaned what I bought, I chatted with a lady who has helped me before. Likewise charming.

I needed a special gift for my girlfriend. I’ve never purchased nice jewelry before, and a friend recommended I go to Charles Schwartz for good advice and a nice selection.I was a little nervous about being pressure sold, but David was great to work with. He was so friendly, and the atmosphere was really relaxed.I told David what I wanted, and he walked me through a bunch of questions, like what color her other jewelry is, what does the jewelry look like, what’s her normal style, etc. He also asked what my budget was and then recommended a few different pieces.I purchased one of the necklaces he suggested and my girlfriend absolutely loves it. The experience was really great, I’d recommend them for anyone who wants to buy a nice gift but has no idea where to start!

The absolute best selection of vintage, estate and antique jewelry, including some of the coolest engagement rings Ive ever seen. They also have amazing designers like Hearts on Fire. I realized they recently moved to a bigger location in the Mazza Gallerie- its gorgeous.

My experience was terrific! The shops inventory was diverse & beautiful. So many things to choose from. I received great personal attention & looked at everything before making any decision. There was no rushing, just went at my own pace asking questions. It was very positive all the way around!

Michael and Daniel provided some of the best customer service as salespeople I have ever had. Michael took the time to explain engagement rings to me, listened to what I was looking for, honestly and thoughtfully answered my questions, showed remarkable patience, and generally provided a genuinely enjoyable experience. The ring selection and custom possibilities were expansive and good quality, suiting a variety of price ranges. He didn’t push rings out of my price range, and both Michael and Daniel worked with me to identify a selection I was very happy with. I ended up doing a custom ring which used as the two smaller diamonds a couple small stones from my grandmother’s ring.I went to a couple other stores and at both was thinking “I think I’ll go back to Charles and Schwartz....”Assuming they deliver the ring on time, they also will meet a schedule (working particularly hard) I was told was totally impossible by the other stores.Thank you guys!!!

The foremost important thing with one’s jeweler is trust. Charles Schwartz & Son have earned mine through years of transparency. I never feel pushed to buy Something I am not ready to buy and their prices are quite competitive. They have beautiful antique pieces entrusted to them by grateful customers.A person from whom I buy my pearls in NYC is their supplier: he introduced me to them. I now trust them with all my purchases.Btw, they are wonderfully helpful with even tiny repairs. Nana usually helps me but I have found they work as a team. Highly recommended!!!!

I dropped off 4 watches, 3 Movado’s and 1 extremely valuable Waltham that belonged to my grandfather. I had my two young granddaughters with me and one had a sudden, bad nosebleed. The gentleman assisting us quickly got her Kleenex, a bottle of water, a seat, cleaned up after her, and made her feel totally comfortable. Frankly....whatever happened to the watches after that wouldn’t have entirely mattered! I was so very moved and impressed.That said, the watches were all repaired beautifully and are not only running well, but have also been meticulously cleaned. All for a very reasonable price. I am extremely appreciative and they can count on my continued business!

I come here every time when I need a new watch battery even though its not clise. They replac the battery quickly where others either cant or have to send it out.
