I called Urban City Glass on Saturday afternoon to schedule for a mirror cutting and Adil came to my home on Sunday afternoon. My husband and I have contracted with Adil many times for shower glass enclosures in our primary residence as well as rental properties. Excellent experience with Adil and his assistant Carlos. PLUMB, LEVEL, & CAREFUL. I was in desperate need of an installation for a Home Depot glass door I had ordered. Adil answered right away, was responsive via text, and mentioned that he could help cut the door to size in the event that I had accidentally measured improperly for the space, which sometimes happens with homeowners. I was completely thrilled with this glass company. I received high quality glass mirrors with beveled edges. This was a special order and I have to admit I was nervous about what they would look like in the end. They were perfect and the thickness Adil recommended also perfect. I transported the mirrors from Washington DC to Mozambique and couldn’t believe they made it the whole way (4 legs of flight)! We have a soaking tub/shower with frameless glass doors that were poorly installed by our developer. There was a lot of mold between the glass and tub. I had the pleasure of getting some glass work done by Urban City Glass last week, and my impression was WOW. I have been a home owner for 20+ years and literally have weekly work done by various contractors and service providers - including glass work in the past. What was different this time? When the owner Adil showed up it was just an awesome experience from beginning to end. To start, I was difficult right out of the gate and wanted the glass work done THAT DAY. I got an appointment within 90 mins max. I was told the glass would take 2 days. Instead, the following morning (a Saturday) before 10am a text arrived to my surprise that my glass work was ready and he could install within 30 minutes if I was available - heck yes. What also struck me the most about this job was that although it was just a piece of glass, he treated the job with such professionalism and concern right from the onset. He wanted it perfect. He measured (meticulously and several times) - I knew it was going to be a perfect fit for my piece right then. When he arrived to install (did I mention it was less than 24 hours later?) he took such care to make sure it was perfect, spotless and I was totally satisfied. Payment was easy and seemed secondary to providing a perfect product for him. A true artist. I can not recommend Adil and the folks at Urban City Glass enough. The lower hinge on my Kohler pivot frameless glass door was broken. I ordered the parts from Kohler and then searched for a professional who could replace the hinge. Five glass companies told me they didnt do that, two bathroom handymen who initially thought they could do the job from photos I sent decided that they were not qualified once they arrived at my home and took a look at the door. I was so happy when Adil from Urban City Glass arrived at my home. I could tell immediately that he knew exactly what to do . . . and he replaced the hinge!
