Eleanor was absolutely wonderful to work with! Her eye for arrangements and knowledge about each plant was phenomenal. The entire team made my experience so enjoyable and I am OBSESSED with the final product.

Shop looks really aesthetically pleasing but that’s about it. Not a great variety of plants & everything is wildly overpriced (plants & pots). Even with that, I expected at least good customer service but received nothing from both employees working there. Not even a greeting or goodbye as I left (even though I still thanked them as I walked out), let alone assistance with anything else. There was also only 1 other person in the store who left before I finished shopping around so the shop wasn’t busy.

Not the friendliest shop, there was one person behind the counter and they awkwardly ignored you. But besides the ‘warm’ welcome, everything is painfully overpriced. I suggest you go somewhere else if you want decent plants and decent customer service.

Bought this gorgeous dragon tree yesterday and I am totally in love! I obviously cannot speak to the longevity of the plant just yet, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back!

I initially bought a small string of pearls plant (easy to care for succulent) and unfortunately I discovered there was already root rot when I bought it. The owner was kind enough to provide me with a replacement. After trying out a second plant, Im happy to say that this time my plant is growing beautifully and I havent had any root rot issues!

It was such a fun shop to look for plants in, all of the staff was incredibly helpful and answered my many questions. I got my plant home and it started to wilt and I panicked and called and the employee helped me through what to do for the plant and let me send pictures and we troubleshooted for a long time. Then offered to have a follow up with me later. I will never stop shopping for my plants here. 10/10

Hands down the best indoor plant boutique in DC. There’s no other place like it. The selection is always excellent and the profits are high quality and extremely healthy, especially compared to other plant stores in the area. I’ve bought nearly all of my plants from here and there’s a noticeable difference in the longevity of the products purchased here versus chain stores. Staff is consistently helpful and welcoming and the aesthetic never fails!

There was an orchid that had a $50 price tag on it, but they charged us $70 because they said the pot was $50 and the orchid was $20. The orchid was potted in the pot so it couldn’t be removed or sold separately. The price on the plant should be the actual price. That was very misleading and felt wrong. They were also not very nice or friendly about it. I don’t think I’ll be back. The store’s cute, but it’s not worth it with the prices and poor customer service.

Always love stopping by this gem. The plants are reasonably priced and the decor/design of the store feels like Justin’s Blakeney Jungalow come to life !!!! Here are my newest additions from the store, that I snagged for total of ~$25. (Note: care cards are included, which is ideal for beginners!)

The cuteness of the store and plant ends as you bring them home. I bought 4 plants as a memory of anniversary worth of $430. One of which was FLF costing $175. I followed all the instructions and care needed for FLF. It was kept in the bright window of my home. I never cared about usability of space where the plant was located. However, the plant didnt grow a single new leaf in 4 months. And worst was yet to come. During March literally all leaves fell off and the plant is dead. I even tried to cut it to find out if its alive, its completely dead. All this while, I kept the plant in original pot to ensure it settles well with environment. I tried to reach out to the store as they actively use instagram account, no one responded. I tried to call, no response. My remaining plants are doing okay. Again, I havnt seen any new growth on any of my other plants I bought at the store. I have plants from home depot and they are thriving absolutely fine. Looking at this experience I am so disappointed and not recommend due to plants quality and customer service.

I just discovered this place by chance a couple weeks ago and have already bought three plants with certainly more to come! The staff is super helpful and kind. Im a total beginner with zero knowledge or experience with anything green and they helped me and answered all questions. They are also super careful about covid and limit how many shoppers in the store at once so it felt comfortable despite the small space.

This is my favorite plant store in DC! This store is incredibly helpful and have friendly staff who want to help you! This store has very high quality and healthy plants/soil/pots/and other plant related items.I have shopped in-store and gotten plants delivered to my apartment and have had positive experiences! It is so hard to find good quality Stromanthe Triostars and this place I’ve had the best luck with. I have two incredibly healthy Stromanthe Triostars that I get many compliments on because of this store! Everything is grown with SOO much love and is seen by how happy the plants are.If you’re thinking about a plant, look no further than Little Leaf!! ☺️

Looks are deceiving definitely in case of this little shop. Really cute from outside but the plants inside are soo much neglected. Felt sorry for the houseplants there. Poor philodendrons and so many monsteras. They don’t have a unique variety and everything you get there you can get them from Lowe’s much cheaper and way better condition. Don’t let them have it easy and buy all the low quality plants. But you should definitely buy if you think the plants are thriving.

Ive had nothing but the best customer service experience from Little leaf recently since it has transitioned from brick&mortar to online/delivery sales. They always responded to my emails promptly and with more than enough information. Even more important, when my plants finally arrived, one of the plants was in a pretty dire state. I contacted Little Leaf shortly afterwards and they apologized, explaining they are transitioning to online sales, and refunded me for the plant. I highly recommend them for your plant needs.

I made a point to get to this place on small business Saturday during the pandemic. Only 4 customers were allowed in the store at a time. However, no assistance was offered by the two employees staffing the store on Saturday afternoon. I was extremely underwhelmed with lack of customer service. I could have gone to a big box store given the lack of friendly service. Extremely disappointing.

Perfect place for browsing on a weekend after brunch. I would highly recommend purchasing a plant from here. The people are nice and helpful, but they dont try to sell you. Thats a good thing. If youre looking for a nice plant shop in the DC area, this is the best. Theyre connected to Salt & Sundry by the way.

Lovely indoor plant shop. It’s more small and boutique-like (part of the charm really), however, this is made up by the fact that all the plants are in superb condition. They also have lots of unique specimens that are rarely carried by other plant shops. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and are overall a pleasure to be around. Stop by, a must for plant-lovers.

I Found this cute little plant boutique with a variety of beautiful exotic plants. They also carry planters, cards, candles and other novelties. A very nice surprise are their authentically woven handmade planters straight from Rwanda! Very vibrant in color. I for one do not have a green thumb. I was happy to learn from the friendly staff of the many minimal plants they carry! Everyone was eager to assist and very knowledgeable of the care taking of every plant. I left with a calathea lancifolia plant. =)
