I enjoy my monthly trip to AAR.I must admit their prices can bit more in some areas but if it can be in stock in the state it is usually in stock there. Customer Service is outstanding they have to done in no time at all when you are ready to check out. There is a no pressure atmosphere they will answer all your questions and offer advice or opinions only if asked. The selection on all levels is top notch. I recommend if you have not dropped in to look an shop and you love our 2nd Amendment this place needs to become one of your regular visits. K9 friendly too.Hope to see you there...

Awesome staff, and the best customer service! First came to arctic ammo several years ago to get a couple cans, been going about once a month since. Ive used them for; special orders, builds, cerekoting, machining, ammo, and several gun purchases. Good people 10/10 will be going back soon.

I pulled into a parking lot crammed full of vehicles, and walked into a building full of patrons. Wall to wall the place was absolutely packed.Despite this, within 5 minutes of walking in, a gentleman from behind the counter had asked if I had been helped yet, I knew why I was there (Mossberg 590 Shockwave) he grabbed it off the wall and had me rung up inside of ten minutes.They will NOT leave you hanging.Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable, local staff. They also apparently offer a Cerakote service as well.Their prices might be a little on the higher end but the service is unmatched and they know their stuff. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Awesome shop. Had my weapons shipped from the lower 48 to them when I moved to Alaska, the whole process went without a hitch. They called me the moment they arrived and the pickup was smooth.Been shopping there for the two years since, and even recently placed an order with them. They offer super good prices, and their turn around time is really impressive.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable in all things firearms, ammo, and accessories. Never had a bad experience in person or on the phone.

Uh I cant say enough about this place . Its a toy r us for firearm owners, staff is very knowledgeable ( from my interactions with them at least ) and a HUGE selection of goodies to get your rocks off . I would like to see more local products from holster makers and gunsmith here, didnt get 5 because it was alittle chaotic and had product all over the place ( might have been frieght day who knows ) all in all awesome establishment

Very knowledgeable, nice and helpful employees! The spare parts room is a treasure trove for old gun enthusiasts. A guy could get lost in there for hours. Showroom is well stocked with just about anything you could need for self defense, hunting or collectors. In house machinists were more than willing to give insight and advice! Great atmosphere, will only be using this shop from now on!

I went in asking about silencers, not knowing anything. The guy spent over 30 minutes educating me. He really knew his stuff and was happy to share it. I have purchased two guns here and had a gun transfer done from eGunner. The service is always great and enjoyable.I highly recommend this place.

Have done several gun transfer with these guys ($10!!!). Friendly service, I would definitely recommend.They have also done excellent work on a scope / ring install for me on my .338. Very knowledgeable and polite!Most recently I had a barrel cut and threaded and brake installed. Looks and performs amazing. Very fast turn around and very professionally done.Definitely a loyal customer.

Great place to shop for your hearts desires. From a idea build all the way to surplus ammo, and weapons and cheap prices on the ammo. compared to other places. Very helpful I have m1903 that needed a new stock they immediately helped me find a good stock for a fair price that still had the vintage look. took care of me and my friends that day. Always an awesome day to talk to the younger girl behind the counter. for a laugh or just simply find out a solution to your problem. definitely a loyal customer even after I leave alaska.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. As a first time gun buyer, they did not intimidate me nor make me feel uncomfortable. The ammo, mag, and gun I purchased were comparably priced. I highly recommend them.

I went there today to see if this place could help me out. They were quite busy, so I preoccupied myself with browsing the store since this was my first visit. After 20 minutes and the young man behind the counter still didnt acknowledge me in the store. I expected more from the store since, I read some great reviews.I am new to the area and will take my business to other local gun stores. I would advise everyone to try this store last.

Usually fair to good customer service for an Alaskan business. Last 2 visits I was given the stink eye by a younger and typical Alaskan behind the counter, who was more worried about ordering his pizza than helping your customers. I will always be willing to pay more for a little courtesy and respect. I drove straight to Sportsmans after my last encounter and purchased from a very friendly and more than helpful staff. Its not typical of this store, but one bad experience and Im gone for good; just like Chimos. Please dont turn into a Chimos.
