We use Kwik Kar for oil changes mostly, but have had them do some other mechanical work on our cars over the years. Generally I feel they do good work, at a reasonable price, and are prompt. The only downside is you have to be prepared for the upsell when you come for a simple oil change: air filter needs to be changed, transmission should be flushed, engine coolant should be flushed, etc. etc. Id recommend against that stuff and have the car serviced at the manufacturer-recommended service intervals.

I love the Kwik Kar location in Watauga! This is my second oil change and I’ve received excellent service both times. This time I also changed the air filter and cabin filter. I didn’t even know there was a cabin filter until the first tech checked it and showed me why it’s important to keep it changed. The second tech, Chris, set up a fan for me to stay cool while I stayed in my car during the oil change. I actually love the drive in - drive out service. I love the quick, courteous experience here and feel like I’ve found my oil changing home!

Let me preface with the fact that I called this location before I went up there to make sure they carried the very specific type of oil that my car takes. They said that they did so I proceeded to drive up there. After arriving, I was directed into the bay, where they took my information and showed me a bottle of the oil I required, Pennzoil ULTRA platinum 0w40. I was then told to go inside and that theyd take care of me. 50 minutes later... I still had not heard anything as I watched at least 3 other vehicles come and go. I went outside to inquire what was going on and was greeted with a very harsh can I help you? Yeah... Just wondering if everything is ok, been here for an hour and nobody is talking to me. They then told me that they are just waiting on the rest of the oil to get here.... Excuse me? I was told you guys had the oil here, thats why Im here and not the dealership.Well we only had 4 quarts and your car takes 6Yeah... Thats what performance vehicles take generally...Anyways, my car was finally completed after more than AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. Ive had faster service at dealerships, and after this experience, thats where Im going next time. At least there Im prepared to sit around for a long time. I really wouldnt have been too upset if someone would have just TOLD ME what was going on instead of just ignoring me for over an hour!

Nice experience, quick service. Changed my oil, filled fluids, changed battery all in a 20 minute time frame. Price is good as well I recommend trying it out.

I have been bringing my daughters car here since 2014 but during that time it has changed and is not the same place it was when we first started using them. I recently brought her car in for an oil change and inspection. They have always done Toyota’s recommended maintenance and her car just rolled 100k miles so I was certain it would have maintenance needed. They did the oil change and the inspection and called me to the counter to pay. No one ever called me outside to discuss any additional work. I had to ask them to check her records and find out that it in fact needed a tune up. I don’t fault the oversight but this never happened when the family picture still hung in the waiting room. Once that was taken down so went the heart of the business.

We had an appointment and pulled right in at our scheduled time. The team was courteous, price of oil change was average. And we were finished in good time.

My husband took our car there for an oil change and was told that full synthetic was necessary for our vehicle (most definitely isn’t) and they didn’t even reset the oil life light.Went in this afternoon to ask if they would reset it, and stood for 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to come to the front desk. No one came so I decided to leave.Already knew I wasn’t likely to come back, but definitely won’t now...

Very friendly, quick and accomidating. Told then I had no interior light. Although was doing an oil, change he checked it and let me know it was the bulb. He gave me the bulb so I could get one like it. Said they would pop it in for me.

Went in for an Inspection Sticker and oil change. The staff were friendly and patient with my questions. The mechanic suggested additional services but did not hesitate when I declined. He was very professional and courteous. Service was fast and reasonably priced.

I just used Kwik Kar for a wheel bearing change. The place I usually go to quoted me $850. Kwik Kar did it for only $362! Less than half the price! Thats $286 for labor and they let me buy my own parts for $76 instead of the other place requiring them getting it through the dealer for $302!The waiting room was clean, comfortable and had great wifi.

I left thinking KwikKar did a great job on my oil change, until a pedestrian knocked on my window while I was driving saying I’m leaking fluid. I pulled over and checked and it was oil. I called KwikKar and they was closed, but I did leave a voicemail and haven’t gotten a return callback . I got my oil done on 10/19/2021

Very impressed with the whole crew! They all had smiles and it was clear they were all enjoying themselves with each other as they were working hard in this Texas heat! Had an oil change that took no more than 10-15mins, with free buffing to some cosmetic scrapes I had on the car and they change my key fob battery with no additional charge! Went in for an oil change during a pretty decent business hour. The associate exhibited professionalism through is knowledge in guiding me through the different oil change (being that I had a newer car) and suggesting the replacement of my engine/cabin filter(s). I was in and out in roughly 20-30 mins! This service also costed me less than what the dealership wanted earlier that day. Thank you Kwik Kar!

I’m moving from out of state so I requested a state inspection. The manager anticipated my needs, was very informative, and gave me local specifics related to vehicle registration. The tech was friendly and helpful also. The oil change was more expensive than I’m used to paying but the name checks out. They were Kwik.

Mosley’s is a top notch oil/mechanic quick stop. They have always handled my oil changes—but I just wanted to give their mechanic service side a shout out! I have owned different 4x4 Jeep models for 15yrs, and have taken my vehicles to them for a range of problems. They are extremely competent and very reasonably priced—can’t say that about the jeep dealership! Give them a try—you’ll be impressed😁

This place is the worse car mechanic shop you could bring your car to. The amount of money my family has spent here and the way we are treated is horrendous. People spend their hard earned money here to be disrespected and that’s appalling. I’ve stopped coming here years ago and will recommend my family to do the same also.

I had my oil changed for the second time here. I came back because of the friendly service and good work. They let you know that they are happy to serve you. I also had a system flush of some kind and noticed a difference as soon as I drove off. They also gave me a free car wash. I will continue to go there as long as the service is good. The people who work there need a shout out from corporate because they are kind and make you want to come back and do business with them again.

What a rip off!They raised their prices and the service went to hell.I paid for the deluxe wash, which was supposed to include armor all on the surfaces.They didnt even clean the windows or vacuum.Look how dusty the dash is.Im going elsewhere from now on. Dusty dash, dirty floorboards, smudged rear window.Terrible.

Took the time to walk me through and explain his diagnosis of what was going on with my brakes, and made it a priority to get my truck in and out in a timely manner. I feel like Everytime I come here they harass me and try to upsell me. Its annoying. They call your name like a kid getting into trouble. Then they read you the riot act expecting you to believe everything they say. I realize there may be other issues with the vehicle, but every time you come its the same selling garbage....Not coming back.

Awesome Service and Great Communication.I took my lifted Toyota Tundra in after another shop did a terrible job on the alignment. They corrected the alignment and it drives like new. A trustworthy shop is hard to find and now I have one.

These guys are amazing! I had a large rubber scuff mark on my passenger door and while i was getting my oil changed one of the employees asked if he could polish it off for me, no charge! After each oil change you get a free car wash at their facility next door, where they vacuum and detail your car while you wait inside! I’m never going anywhere else!

I went in for an inspection and they thought my tint in the back seat windows was too tinted and bubbling. I told the man I had window visors in to block the sun,and the part that sticks to the window is plastic that makes it look bubbled, but theres nothing wrong with the tint. He still refused to believe me and said I saw the visors but thats on the inside,this is on the outside. I took the visor off and it was still there. When I got in my car to leave he came to my car and was looking at the back window. I pulled off the visor and showed him there was nothing wrong with the tint. He said Oh. They also left my hood open and I had to stop driving and close it. Very unknowledgeable.

Best staff at any lube station. They dont try to upsale my wife when she goes and they actually diagnose vehicle issues instead of throwing parts at the vehicle.

I called them ahead of time this past Sunday before they closed and Raed spoke to me. The squeezed me in as their last customer for the day. They changed the oil on my car quickly, they also ran my state inspection, and stayed a bit of overtime doing so. They were super kind and professional. It all took probably 20mins total and it would have been faster if i had asked them ahead of time to do both things. I also got 2 free car washes (coupons) because i did 2 transactions. The team is super patient and Raed was great to work with! Thanks guys!

I took my daughters car in for an oil change and found out that the people that did the oil change previous to them probably did not change the filter which resulted in the oil filter coming out in pieces when they tried to change it. The staff at Kwik Kar in Watauga not only made sure I knew what was going on but worked tirelessly to get all the parts of the filter out. They also did not carry the filter needed and had one delivered to the store! I am thankful for such a great group of guys that made sure all was good before I left. Will definitely be back!!

Have been here many times and have always been satisfied until today. Yesterday my wife took my daughters Kia in for an inspection and oil change prior to a little road trip to the Houston area today. My daughter just called me scared to death because some big black thing flew off the bottom of her car on I-45. She pulled into Buccees and I asked her to send me a picture of the bottom front of her car. As I suspected, the splash guard was no longer there, which has to be removed for the oil change. One bolt is missing completely and one has a plastic ring still attached after the rest had been sheared off at highway speed. It could be a coincidence, but it seems highly likely that the splash guard was not attached properly after the oil change. I have concerns returning to this facility.

Usually I let my dad do these things for me but since I moved out and trying to be all independent, this is the first time I go and get oil change. I was kinda nervous and scared but the workers were so kind and friendly. Kinda forgot all of that nervousness and was able to relax and let them do their thing. Was so quick and they were also kind enough to check other issues for me. So grateful for that.

The vast majority of the employees were unmasked despite their posted policy stating otherwise, and they allow customers to go maskless as well. Waited out in the rain during my inspection because I felt unsafe inside. And ofc they tried to sell me on BS services I dont need instead of just performing the inspection. Second Kwik Kar Ive had these issues at; wont be returning.

Stayed in the vehicle while oil change service was performed, a number of things listed on the checklist were not even performed....tire pressure check, fluid levels weren’t checked, engine light, etc. Don’t lie and say that you performed services that you didn’t do, much less charge me for them as part of a “full service oil change”. Got this done before going out of town, on way out of town power steering kept acting up, checked fluids and it was almost bare so there is no way this was checked and marked as done. Paid $41 for a $20 service at best.

We have been loyal customers at this location for 10+ years! The service you provided today is an indicator that we need to seek services on our vehicles somewhere else!

The service was good but they charged me $100 to have my oil change which is absolutely ridiculously priced and I will never go back. Then they did a fuel injection for me and the guy told me it was $125 and when I went to check out he charged me $140. He did refund the $15 but this was ridiculous and again I have been going to this place for the last 15 years and I will never go back again

Tech was super nice and didn’t push me into extra filters, etc. He showed me what they looked like but did not guilt me into getting all of them replaced. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of, like I often do at car maintenance places. I appreciated very much how i was treated. The free car wash was great as well!

So, I recently had my oil changed (not at this Kwik Kar location), and the day after, I noticed a very bad oil leak. I was referred to Kwik Kar from my warranty company, MaxCare. They replaced my engine gasket where the engine was leaking oil. On the ride home, the engine started knocking. Took it back to Kwik Kar, and Ernie and his crew looked at it again and determined I needed a whole new engine. The engine has been replaced and I just arrived home after picking up my vehicle. It runs better now than when I purchased it. My car was in the shop for a couple weeks, and Ernie kept me informed the entire time. I highly recommend this location. Im more than satisfied with the work everyone did on my car and I will definitely be doing repeat business here. And Ernie has a pretty good sense of humor. Take your vehicle here. You wont be disappointed.

These guys are always thorough and go that proverbial extra mile that others dont. Ive been a regular Kwik Kar patron for over a decade for this reason. I will continue to frequent this particular location for as long as the service remains exemplary. Ive relocated more than once since my initial experience at the Watauga location. Its a bit of a longer trek for me now than it was 10 years ago but its still worth it.

I went in for a vehicle inspection. Its all good service eveything was quick while you wait in your car but the mechanic closing my car hood unhinged it and let that bad boy just drop and kept on. Needs better care cars.

He picked me up from my house with the same decorum, class, etiquette and professionalism he started his day with. Kwik shout out to Service Manager Ernie Mitchell and his mechanic. With the symptoms the vehicle had running poorly we anticipated an expensive repair. They did a thorough trouble shoot and were able to find that it was a quick and simple fix. Appreciate their honesty, thorough yetfairly-price analysis.

I have been using Kwik Kar for all the maintenance on my Dodge Journey since we purchased it 4 years ago. I always receive amazing service! Technicians will take you back to evaluate the recommendations they have for upkeep on your vehicle. My recent issue was a bad battery. We had it replaced in March, and started having trouble getting it to start. We contacted Kwik Kar and they not only helped us over the phone, but dropped my husband back off after he finally got it up to the shop. Turned out to just be corroded connections and I’m so grateful for their help! I will always recommend their services.
