So I had my Dodge Challenger towed to SAF-T AUTO Centers in Waterbury and I must say the guys there are extremely professional and knowledgeable with no hassle. From now on all my vehicles will be taken care of at this shop. 40 industry lane Waterbury CT. Tell them Dre with the red challenger sent you.

Deryk was outstanding, and fixed our vehicle when we had a radiator flange blowout on the highway in the freezing cold. He was so helpful, and went above and beyond to get us back on the road within 1 day to avoid staying in the hotel an extra night. We are incredibly grateful to him, and, because of his thoroughness, the car made the rest of the 800+ mile trip with no issues (and still none to this day). Thank you so much, Deryk!

What an amazing experience! I had gotten blown off by another mechanic and called SAF-T on a whim and boy I am happy! Mark was so wonderful on the phone and told me to come down immidately. They did my brakes under an hour and didn’t rip me off when it came to the cost of labor! I will make this my go-to spot for all future repairs. Thank you guys!!!

They are extremely knowledgeable there. That is the only reason they get any stars at all. They tried to charge me almost 3,000.00 for a job....and those parts had nothing wrong with them (I had two other mechanics check). What was actually wrong with my car only cost $550.00 very disappointed in how they attempted to take advantage.

Called in to get my car checked out, and the person who I spoke to was very rude. Will not recommend this place at all

I had taken my car to the SAF-T shop in Naugatuck for many years and was very happy. When the shop closed I determined it was worth the drive to go to Waterbury. However, on only my second appointment at the Waterbury shop, my 1-1 1/2 hour wait time (for an oil change, radiator flush, tire rotation and spark plug change) ended up being four hours because the wrong spark plugs were delivered ( and no one said anything until I asked after 3 hours what the holdup was). The labor for this 1 - 1 1/2 hour job ended up being $205, which comes out to be $137 per hour. Then, once the plugs were delivered the job still wasnt done and I had to wait again. I will never return to this shop and I would suggest that future customers get estimates in writing BEFORE any job is performed and that they demand any extended wait times be clearly communicated as soon as an issue arises.

They fixed my car in less than an hour at an affordable price. Very nice and honest people.

I agree with The Brittani lady comment! Quoted me an extremely high cost $3500 when I had two mechanics look at my truck and it wasn’t what they were stating was wrong. The five star comments are probably friends of these crooks #badbusiness especially if you are a female!! BEWARE or always get a second opinion

My car was over heating, I took my car to Mark and he spent three hours on diagnosing my my car over heated while running the AC . He stated it was the electric fan and computer . Did NOT charge me any fees, told me to take it to Nissan dealer because he didnt have the computer codes to reprogram my computer . He was right . Excellent and honest mechanic . So my dad and I go to fix a emission problem with the intake manifold for 2007 Mercedes Benz c280 they said it needed to be replaced and it was going to cost at least 2,000 dollars so of course we said no then I went on eBay bought the manifold for 325 dollars BRAND NEW my dad installed it but even if I got someone to install the manifold it would have been cheaper then their 2,000 dollars anyway they said that the intake would cost 1,100 brand new but I bought the intake for 325 dollars I think they were trying to scam us by making us pay 1,100 dollars then taking out 325 for the intake then putting 775 in their pocket and on top of that 500 dollars for labor so they would have cheated us of 1,275 dollars when the whole job would have cost 825 dollars so I would not recommend this place to anyone speaking from my experience
