Grand News has Great NewsThe Grand News convenience store on the corner of Grand Street and Bank Street in downtown Waterbury opened a deli in their store. The store is family owned, clean, and well stocked. And now they also have a great deli at the back of the store.They obviously did their homework and invested in the best equipment and products to make delicious sandwiches, wraps, and salads.Theyre using very fresh produce, Napoli Import deli meats and cheeses, and fresh grinder rolls from Neris Bakery in Port Chester, NY.Ive been going in Grand News for a few years and the family that owns it are friendly honest people. Theyre putting a lot of care into every sandwich and salad that they make for each customer.Jay made an awesome Italian Combo grinder for me. It was one of the best Ive ever had.And Diana made a crisp beautiful salad for me to take home to my wife.Their menu continues to grow and includes breakfast sandwiches, soups, and specials such as authentic Indian cuisine.Best wishes and much success to Neil, Carol, and Jay.

Great coffee. A good place to buy the lottery, snacks, milk and even beer. They provide Western Union services. It is a family-owned business providing great service.
