This past week I was there and couldnt understand why the cashier girl pushed my groceries to the side after handing me my receipt and immediately proceeded packing the grocery of a woman standing behind me. Totally ignored me, never tried to help me pack three bags I struggled to pack. Is this how everyone is treated or was it just me. Needless to say the woman got out the store way before me.

Best grocery store around the Baldwin area of Waterbury. The fruit & veggies are fresh along with the produce. They have a wide range of ethnic foods from canned to fruit and veggies to pasta and meats. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the store and they dont mind helping with your needs. The store is wheelchair accessible and there is free parking even though the plaza its located is small. Location is right on the corner of Baldwin and Pearl Lake Rd. of Waterbury CT.

Compare foods has a amazing variety of products with great prices and service. I was easily able to navigate through the store. The produce and meat produce section was always fresh, the hot food always maintained, and the shelves always stocked with photo ready products. I believe that having a hot food section blows the compitition away, such as Stop and Shop or Shoprite
