Store is a mess, digital coupons never work properly, employee was sitting down doing crochet while customers had to use self check out.

My husband went to dollar general in Waterloo Illinois today and was yelled at by an employee named Jessica for trying to reach a toy in the very top shelf. There were other employees there too. Nobody offered to help my husband. In fact, after Jessica yelled at him, the other employees were nowhere to be found. So my husband left. You cant even get down the isles in that store without putting yourself in danger, so Im failing to see why my husband reaching to a top shelf is a problem.

General Manager here is an extremely caring person! One employee has an attitude problem and they are behind on getting product out.. But only because they get paid the minimum and DG is always short staffed.. Good store though!!

Remodel looks nice. Different selection, and they place the stores near people. Not always near the traffic.

While the aisles of every Dollar General are chaotic, they always have new and fresh inventory. I really like their new home decor pieces. Today I was waited on by a lovely woman who asked me how my day was going, thanked me for my purchase and told me to have a good day and she said it with a smile on her face. What a pleasure! I wish I had caught her name.

I miss the old DG. This one is too crowded and doesnt ever have what I am looking for.

This place is always an unorganized mess. The aisle are so full of product that needs to be put on the shelves that you cannot walk down them to shop. There clearance is never marked properly, items are always out of stock.

Unable to walk down most aisles because the stock is sitting on racks and poor staffing. One checker and eight people in line. People were walking in then out.

Dollar General is a great place to buy discounted items (including snacks) for our school parties, summer get-togethers, family reunions, birthday parties, sporting events, etc. Most of their items are inexpensive. We love their holiday items, especially for Halloween, Christmas and Easter. Stores like Dollar General do not have a large staff and they are always busy and overworked. (Its unfortunate that some thoughtless customers make such a mess down many aisles by not putting things back on the shelves as they found them, which has to be endlessly frustrating to the small DG staff.) P.S. We also love the discounted prices on greeting cards, bows and wrapping paper at DG because those are items we need all year!

This place is such a mess and no one is ever at the register when there is a line of people. They are rude and act like we are bothering them. It is like they are just milking the clock. Nothing is ever put away and in one place. Clean it up and get a bell!

This store is under staffed and unorganized. Only one employee was there that day, but she was very helpful and friendly, and did her best to keep up with customers.

It seems like when you go in there theres never anybody behind the register because you shorthanded and they have the stock and the registers and it makes you feel like a criminal when you walk in there because youre always watching you like youre a thief I go in there at least four or five times a week to Waterloo Illinois store it seems like Im always being stalked I work for a living Im not a thief and I dont like to be treated like one just my shopping in your store

Not clean not organized and almost never are two registers open. Regardless of how long the line gets.But they have anything any other dollar General does. UPDATE: After being verbally assaulted by an employee for arriving to soon to an unscheduled early closing I wont be coming back.
