I emailed Mike regarding locating a 2015 GMC Canyon. I informed him where it could be located. We went in and made a deal fairly quickly on a handshake. It was all done without any fuss or muss and, especially, no dealer BS. Mike, a low-key guy for a car salesman, was as good as his word. There was even movement on the price of this hot-selling truck. Due to the extreme Massachusetts weather and having the bed sprayed (which Colonial took care of) it took about a week and a half to pick up. Also, the dealer that I had located with the exact truck I wanted had traded it to a dealer in another state. Mike bird-dogged it down for me without my ever knowing it. The entire process, including the financing, was done politely and professionally. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another vehicle from Colonial. I havent needed the service department yet but I look forward to the same type of service that Mike gave me. If all GM dealers were as good as Colonial GMC, GM wouldnt have had the problems it did.
I went to you guys for an oil change and a full car inspection to make sure everything was fine with the car. I am going on a big trip and I wanted to make sure the car did not need anything to get fix. My car has 120k miles so been sure is always good. After picking my car up I realized you guys did not do a full check up. Before I left the car at the dealership I check for all fluids (coolant, wipers fluids, wipers) and all of them need it fill up and blades need it to be change since they are so old, tire pressure was also not done. 2 tires needed air and they were still the same when I pick the up the car. Tired rotation was not done either. None of this things were done and because of it I felt like I was taking advantage of and my car was not check! I paid $125 dollars and received nothing in return besides a simple oil change! I told the guy in the morning that I was going on a big trip and I need it my car 100 secure. Check tires, wheel balance and alignment fluids etc and I am really angry and disappointed I did not get anything done. I felt so unsafe I decided to rent a car instead. I go to the dealership because I want to make sure everything goes well and pay high prices to ensure safety. I could have gone to a regular car shop for half the price and a better service

The initial greeting was great, the service was more than expected and exceeded expectation. The only adjustment I would make is closing the time gap on your throughput to give customers a better and shorter experience. It seems as though something in communication is off on that front in regards to average capacity and accommodation to fitting that capacity. I should not have to sit at a dealership for 5 hours when I can take 2 hours to change the same brakes and rotors myself.
Steve Smith was the sales associate that assisted me with my purchase. He was patient and was a great help through the process. Steve answered any questions I had to my satisfaction. The entire team there were cordial and helpful. Sam and Richard are two other people I interacted with. I speak highly of them also. I would definitely consider purchasing from this dealership again.
My car died on the Mass Pike (100 miles away from home!) and I was towed to Colonial because I own a GMC. As it turns out the Water Pump blew. Steve and Anthony were fantastic. They were able to fix my car on the spot and have me on my way in just a few hours.If I lived in the area, I would definitely go there again.
I had a unique problem with the failing roof on my brand new Cascada convertible. I was stuck under a bridge for over two hours in the rain because the roof would not go up. We had quite the ordeal with our 2014 Buick Regal. After driving back from Connecticut, the engine suddenly lost power and the car stalled and shut off. After waiting over 4 hours for triple A we finally got the car towed to your shop. Needless to say, I wasnt in the greatest mood the next morning. This is where the story gets better. The people at the dealership, and especially Anthony in the service department took care of everything smoothly. He was prompt with letting us know the timeframe for the repairs, took care of getting us a rental care and really turned the ordeal into a pleasant experience. He got the car fixed sooner than expected and its been running great. I especially appreciate him taking the time to explain the problem, how they were going to fix it and the issues that might come up, this transparency is really something you dont receive very often anymore.Im extremely happy with the service they provided and the overall level of professionalism and courtesy Anthony showed us. The only minor complaint I have was that the car was pretty much completely covered in bird excrement when we picked it up, a quick wash would have been appreciated but is really not a big deal.Thanks again for all the help and we know where were coming if we ever need service again.

After careful research, I purchased a used car at Colonial Buick, GMC. I knew beforehand exactly what model I wanted, what mileage and condition, and what price range. The car was listed at an excellent price, several thousand dollars below comparable cars in the area. It had a scrape on the bumper which occurred during snow removal operations. Colonial sent it to an authorized Mercedes shop for a flawless repair.The sales staff is courteous and helpful, the service is prompt and thorough. I am a happy customer.
I have been taking my GMC Acadia here for service over the past six years. Much of the work was related to recalls, but Ive also had other repairs done. Anthony and Steve have always been helpful and I trust them for the most part. I always get exceptional service from Steve who I feel goes above the industry standard to work with me. He is good at communicating, giving me a competitive price for work and helps me with alternate transportation when my car needs service for more than one day. Do not work anyone other than Steve or Anthony.

A friend of mine is looking to lease or buy a GMC and I highly recommended Colonial. The staff here are extremely courteous and helpful. The team at Colonial Buick GMC of Watertown is genuinely the best. We went to 6 different dealerships (2 of them also other GMC dealerships). This group was super straight forward, presented the best deal, hands down, and were a super nice. Mike Foster and Richard Sterling were fantastic to work with. I called about 30 minutes before arriving and let them know my preferred make/model. By the time we arrived, the car was pulled up front and Mike was there to greet us. Friendly staff, but wouldnt give me a callback when I believe they accidentally kept my registration, or when the engine code came back immediately. Also steep for visual inspection of other components (125ish per area), even when the car is already in for work. Be very careful what you ask them to look at unless you have $300 to burn.

Anthony and Steve were wonderful. My cars transmission unfortunately went at 77k, just about 2 months after the powertrain warranty was up - after reading many reviews I accepted the fact that GM may not cover it at all and that I would probably have to foot a very large bill. Anthony and Steve were able to get a large portion of it covered. I cant say that Ill buy another GM, but everyone in the service dept. here was great - over the past few years they never pressured me into getting unnecessary work done & were very accommodating. I wont buy a car anywhere else!!! I despise going car shopping especially because I typically have to being my two children with me (my husband works the night shift). I worked with Mike Foster who was super friendly and knowledgeable. I showed him a car I had found in his inventory that I wanted and even though that car had been sold he was able to locate me another car and honor the price. They have awesome deals for educators. I went back a few days later to see what my car was worth on a trade in and Mike asked if I wanted to take a new car home that day. I was not at all interested in spending my whole Saturday in a dealership but Mike had me out of there in no time at all. I was home in time to take my son to Dave and Busters (although in hind sight I think I would have rather stayed at the dealership) Great experience, Mike will see me again in three years for my next GMC Acadia
Bill Kutchar, (maybe wrong spelling of last name but this is what the lady at the desk gave me), did a wonderful job locating what was wrong with our Buick enclave. He was able to show us exactly what was wrong and explain that we had a blown fuse and after changing the fuse he took the extra step to see why it blew and found out that U-Haul wrapped the wire too tight when installing our hitch. we were extremely satisfied with his performance. He is a great mechanic.

Went to test drive a vehicle which had been on the lot for a couple months and took it to my mechanic who found it needed an oil change, all new brakes, and had been in an accident. Pretty shady for a vehicle that (supposedly) had been through their 110 point inspection. Would have still purchased car, but no promise to take care of all the issues when confronted with this cars problems. Cant recommend this place.
Brian Mahan was very knowledgeable straightforward and did his best to help us. When the combination of features that we needed was not available after searching his computer he reviewed materials on the used cars we were considering, gave us great advice and sent us on our way.
I was looking for a pre-owned GMC Terrain, while looking online I came across one at this dealership. I sent them an email stating my interest in this vehicle and within 5 minutes a salesman Brian Mahan responded, he knew all about this vehicle and answered all my questions, he then made an appointment that afternoon for me to see and test drive. When I got there the vehicle was cleaned and parked right out front ready to go. Didnt need to go in, the phone call was more than enough to avoid at all costs. Having someone that answers the phone with at least 10% receptiveness and 10% courtesy would be a plus.

After doing intense research online on prices for GMC vehicles I came across Colonial GMC in Watertown, MA. They had the lowest prices and good inventory. Brian Mahan was terrific to work with when I had to find a new car for my son. We had only purchased cars in the past and I was interested in learning about GMCs leasing program. Brian was very patient with my questions and very clear with his responses. When it came down to appraising our trade-in, which was not a GMC car, Brian and his team at Colonial were very fair and competitive in their valuation. I discussed the monthly payment proposal with my son and he was concerned about not exceeding a payment he could assume once he is out of school. Brian found a model with the basic safety features I required but without any unnecessary costly upgrades. After driving home in my sons new Terrain, I started thinking that there might be one in my future as well!

I called and made an appointment for monday, october 13 for a recall on one of my two pontiac vibes. anthony the service manager took me right away. while he was entering my info into the computer, mechanics and other customer service people kept coming in with questions, everything from third party warranty checking to trying to figure out how to get a customers car finished on columbus day, when a large fraction of the staff was on holiday. i was amazed at how complex his job is! anyway, anthony took less than 5 minutes to get the entire order written up, and he checked for other recalls on this car and on my other vibe. he said that the parts were in and i made the appointment for this friday. in and out in about 40 minutes. doesnt get much better than that.
I bought a new gmc truck from colonial gmc in watertown and the sales process was so easy as it always is at any of the colonial dealerships. When Im in the market for a new vehicle I always go to Paul Rowe. I have bought many cars and trucks from him over the years and he has always treated me more than fair. My dad and I went over to colonial gmc back in april 2012 to look at a new gmc 1500 crewcab. They gave me what I wanted for my trade and gave me an incredible price on the new truck. The deal was so good that my dad ended up trading his truck in and bought a new truck also. That day I drove in with my old truck and drove out in my new one. They have great service after the sale. I would recommend everyone to buy from the colonial dealerships. Paul Rowe and Mike Foster make it so easy to buy a new vehicle.
Inexperienced labor. Incorrect diagnoses for $95. Repairs cost 3X what they cost at honest garages.

We agreed on a deal while I was in the office, and agreed on a price to pay with finance and everything else. They said they would fix a couple of issues and complete the deal.After more than a week I just got a call back saying that it would cost an additional $1500 - $2000 if we still wanted to car.Dont do business here!!!
