This is one of my absolute favorite stores in the area. Each and everyone one of the employees has a heart of gold! If theres ever anything youre looking for, theyll go above and beyond to help you. If you like video games or any type of geeky merchandise, this store specifically is a must! P.S the store leader, Richie, is an absolute king.

Their employees at Towne Center Drive in Watertown, NY, are unethical. Employees shouldnt use their friends and relatives membership rewards when customers use cash and dont provide a membership number. Sierra should be fired. Michael Lance is basically getting free purchases from the general public. Im guessing Richie the manager does the same thing because he tried to pass it off as a mistake. My receipt says otherwise. He tried to bribe us with $5 off our next purchase. Big mistake. I was clear on what I wanted done with Michael Lances account and Sierras job. Even if Richie was dealing with someone who could be bought, $5 seems low. Im sure corporate will love hearing about this.

So i am comming here to drop a review of gamestops online team. Not nessesarly the watertown team. I set up a preorder form there online store about 3 mo back. I received an email saying id get another when it get close to the preorder date. However i received no emails from gamestop, so i started sending out an email to figure out whats the deal with my order. 4 days later i still havent had any contact from gamestop explaining why i never got my order or what even happened. Leaving a review on the website i hoped it would get gamestop to tell me what happened but instead they just remove my review and still wont email me back to let me know what happened. Long story short dont wast time or money on companies who wont even email you to answers your questions. Vary disaponted in gamestop but to be fair i was told this is how they play.

I wish I could award more than 5 stars to this store; the customer service here is UNBELIEVABLY impressive! Sierra helped my friend, over the phone since he is in a different state, get set up with an awesome headset for my birthday. She walked him through the gift card process and everything. Once I arrived an hour later, she made sure that I walked out of that store with them.There were some billing issues, which was blocking the email with the gift card information from arriving in my mailbox. Sierra called customer service, remained on hold for me, and fought for my ability to have the gift card IMMEDIATELY. All the while, her co-worker handled the entire store professionally and held light conversation with me. Theyre a wonderfully marvelous team and everyone should shop here for their gaming needs!

As I mentioned in my other reviews of GameStops in this area, I shop at GameStop all the time.The one in Evans Mills is nice, the one in Fort Drum has some terrible people working there, but Watertown I feel is my favorite. The selection is is even bigger then the one in Evans Mills, not just in games but also in other geeky knick knacks thats always plus. But the crowning jewel is the staff, every single time I come here to shop, the staff have always been wonderful. From the younger dudes to the older folks, theyve ALL been super nice and helpful. One woman in particular is always super sweet which was much appreciated after my horrible experience with the woman in glasses in Fort Drum.A great GameStop, the best in the area Id say:)

I bought a playstation 4 pro from them, and the controller was completely dead even after charging for hours. I knew it was refurbished, but I had gotten stuff used from there before and it worked just fine. I took the controller and got it “exchanged”, got a brand new controller from walmart, completely charged it and it was lighting up and everything like it should and the ps4 pro wouldnt go off the first blue connect screen. So, I was going to return the ps4 pro but because I didn’t have the old controller I have to wait until I get the new one they “exchanged”. I get an email that night my order for the new controller has been cancelled. I never onced asked them to do that nor did I do it myself. I will be returning the ps4 pro as soon as possible and will never return to another game stop. Very Dissappointed.

These employees are so knowledgeable.. You would think they took a college course lol.. But some times there arent many staff, so its a bit of a wait to get attention.

Upon delivery I attempted to play the games and neither one works. they are not scratched but the foil on the back is in bad shape in the games will not play. My system keeps saying it is a faulty disc. I dont even know the guys name but everytime I walk in I end up not leaving for the hour because of all of the content and games that we discuss. Ive never been to a store that has an abundance of part time positions and the employees actually care. Like ever. I have been to about probably over 20 gamestops in my life and this is my favorite one out of all of them. I actually enjoy coming to this branch.

If you are looking for PS3 games, GO HERE. A lot of stores (Wal-Mart, Best Buy) have stopped carrying PS3 games completely. At best they are phasing them out FAST. We all cant blow 400$ + on a new gaming system and/or 50$ a game these days, so GameStop is a great place to get not only PS3 games (new and used) and other systems. Staff was patient and knowledgeable, my only complaint is TURN DOWN THE HEAT PLEASE.

The kid who helped me and my bf was so infornative and polite I was overwhelmed. He answered all our questions about previous, present and future games which was challenging because my bf is a big time gamer and me a newbie and we both left with great New ideas and games

This is why I love Gamestop and will not shop at Best Buy again. I bought Call of Duty WW2, new, from the Watertown Best Buy, a few weeks ago. It kept freezing, not loading, and causing me issues. I tried returning it to Best Buy. They rudely told me I could only exchange it, despite it being purchased new from them. I got into a straight argument with the moron manager, who claimed it was federal law, yet refused to show me where. Ultimately, they gave me a new copy and told me to leave. He opened the new one before giving it to me, so I couldnt return it. Treated me like I stole it for wanting my money back. I went over to the Watertown Gamestop. Told them what happened and hoped to sell it. The friendly employee Sanchez and the manager Shawn bought the new game from me. Got a great price for me. Great service from Gamestop after terrible experience with Best Buy.
