Brought in my 03 Harley Twin Cam for a oil leak and other maintenance necessities, and right when I pulled up Rob had his flashlight in hand ready to help. Upon inspection he located the leak, went over other issues, and gave me a estimate. I came back the following Tuesday, went to work for the week, came back Saturday and the bike was ready. After the first mile I noticed a whole new bike, or at least a properly tuned one. The local Harley dealership also recommended me to go to them because they aren’t touching any bike older than a 2016...But I’m glad they did because it was worth every penny. And probably better quality...Hartz Bros has a new customer. You should be one too.

We are new to the North Country. My partner was having trouble with his 1995 Harley Springer Softail. It seemed to be electrical. He changed the starter and other parts himself, still not charging. He spoke to some locals and they recommended Hartz Bros. He called to make appointment and they accommodated him that day. Super professional and knowledgeable. Got his bike back on the road in a day. Would recommend to any bike enthusiasts in the area. Tom says they rule!

Brought my bike in with an electrical issue. Josh had it resolved in a couple of hours. Also, recommend rear tire replacement. He also adjusted my handle bars at not cost. The shop is very neat and clean which says a lot to me. You can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work. Will recommend to my friends.

I took my bike into josh and his brother with an unknown problem and they tore into it and found the issue within a day. They always are in contact with you about your bike and the status of it, which is nice. All in all an awesome shop with an awesome atmosphere, they make you feel like they genuinely care about you and are your friends.

Great experience, twice! Needed new tires and 20K service done. It was dropped off and picked up the same day! Who doesnt love not having to wait for your motorcycle to be ready to ride again!! Fast and friendly. Will start taking my motorcycle to Hartz Bros for any service needs!!

After calling literally every other motorcycle shop in watertown (to change a tire off the bike already) and getting either youll have to wait a week or we dont work on what we dont sell, Hartz Bros got me right in and did the job. I will be taking all work to these guys from now on and I highly recommend them!

Best motorcycle shop Ive ever been to!Ive lived in the Watertown area for close to 4 years now, and have been to a few shops in the area.I have a custom bike and my experiences have either been shops who can only make something work if its out of a catalogue, or shops that have over-charged for sub par work.Hartz Bros are the most knowledgeable, and professional individuals Ive taken my bike to.I know that I can go to their shop and be treated fairly, have all my questions answered, and be sure my bike will be taken care of like its their own.In addition to great work, the owners gave me their cell number and always answer any questions I may have concerning my bike, and are always willing to help. They build bikes from scratch so theyve never had an issue they couldnt resolve with me.Im sad to be leaving the area soon, because I wont be around to take my bike to them. I stumbled across Hartz Bros a few years ago when I got it in my head to build a custom bike. I have been to all the shops in the area and my experiences have not been all that great, there are shops I refuse to go to, and most of them over charge for work or the work had to be redone. Hartz Bros from day one have always been very helpful be it working on, fabricating or just giving me info on how to. All the work that has be done to my bike has been done in timely manner, Not the I have not had a chance to look at it yet after two weeks of having it like other shops in the areaHartz Bros are very professional individuals, its also nice to see they not only run day to day operation, but they are the ones turning wrenches too, so you get honest hours of work from them, and when you call you get the owner/ tech. This is the only shop I have not been worried when I drop my bike off to get work done. they treated me fairly and took care of my bike.Hartz Bros is by far the best custom shop in the area!!Thanks for all your help!!

Josh is not only a great mechanic but has great style in building his bikes. For Harleys, BSA or Triumph theres nowhere better than Hartz Custom Cycles.

Josh and Rob are very knowledgeable and will not hesitate to help you out in any way they can. i have been going to them for over a year now and they do not dissapoint. they have always worked with me until i was happy and always do a job right. i would send anyone on a bigtwin or british bike their way.
