They dont even deserve 1 star. If they are doing any warranty work on your vehicle, do not add any extras. I have a 2014 Ram 1500. The radiator needed to be replaced and was under warranty. They recommended to replace the radiator hoses, the thermostat and the serpentine belt at the same time since everything would be accessible while the radiator was out. They charged me $664.88 for the extras. $325 was labor. I questioned them and they offered a menial discount of $50. My company owns 4 RAM trucks. They will only get warranty work from now on. Tell your friends.

Scheduled an appointment three weeks ago for an oil change and factory recalls. Appointment time was at 8:00, did not get my truck until 2:30. Was told it would only take two hours. On top of this, rental car was not arranged like discussed. I was not able to get in contact with manager through phone tree. NOT returning. I would rather do the oil change myself next time than utilize the oil changes covered with my truck purchase. Greasy fingerprints on steering wheel 🖐

Worse car I have ever owned. numerous recalls. today, installing motor for backseats, my car has been at the dealer for 5 hours and still not completed. This was a new part to be installed because original part never worked properly. Now new part isn’t working.

I have decided to delete my previous review because I was blaming the dealership for the manufacturers short comings. We bought our first brand new vehicle at this dealership. They bent over backwards to give us an amazing deal. If you have a service issue, ask for Victor, he has been absolutely amazing with getting our vehicle fixed and back on the road as quickly as possible.
Great service team. Service Manager Jessica is straightforward and makes customer service her highest priority. Service Consultant Victor is responsive, interested and proactive. The technicians are well trained, efficient and on top of things. Great team -- totally outshines other Dodge/Jeep dealerships.

I never had a problem with this place before. I got my Dodge Challenger from here and also had my maintenance done here as well, but this last time I went I was completely dissatisfied. All of the stuff I had stored in my center console went missing. I checked all over the car to check if they placed them somewhere else and no, my stuff just went missing. NEVER again am I taking my car to a place I no longer feel safe taking it.
My family has purchased two cars from this dealer in the last 2 years. So far everyone has been friendly, reliable and competent, whether in sales, service or admin. Nolan and his staff in the service department are excellent. They have helped me in diagnosing issues and dealt with them very quickly and competently. I have never been made to feel like I was asking anything other than a legitimate question.We will continue to do business here.
ALL dealerships should follow their lead. These people are amazing. My daughter is critically ill - both Chuck & Victor got our Durango drivable quickly, so we can transport her safely to a special hospital 500 miles away. They do treat people with respect, I agree. And they dont charge too much, either. Take your car here for any service issues. Theyre a refreshing change from dealing with traditional dealerships. Great place!

What I call Body Control Module was no longer working in my 2001 (I know, old) Dodge Durango. And, was told that module is no longer made and none was to be found anywhere. Monterey Bay Chrysler Dodges parts department searched and DID FIND ONE and the service department replaced the old with the new and everything works like new. Wow, I am very pleased with this dealerships efforts and its customer service. Thank you, youre the best!
I pulled into the dealership with a flat tire. I was immediately greeted and asked how I could be helped. I showed the rep. my flat tire and if it could be fixed that day. Even though I did not have an appointment Victor in the service department said he could have it done within about 2 hours. That worked for me!I was called within the 2 hours and picked up my Jeep. The cost was less than expected and they even washed my car! I would recommend doing business with Monterey Bay Chrysler Dodge Jeep.
They will be so friendly and helpful when they are trying to sell you a car. But as soon as that is done, they no longer care. They won’t respond to to emails, every though there “general manager will call tomorrow”..... haha, still waiting for that call for over 2 months. I went in months ago to turn in one of those “you won a prize” flyers, while I was there I made it clear that I didn’t want to buy a car but my sister needed a new one. They told me if she came in and bought a new car they would give me a $300 referral fee. I did not ask about this but they offered it up. The next day my sister went in and bought a brand new dodge, she even told the sales person that I referred her. I tried to reach out to them a few weeks later regarding the referral fee but now they just won’t respond. She was going to go somewhere else but she went there instead because I told her how nice they were. I won’t be referring anyone here, in fact I will be warning people to stay away!!

I ordered a part for my Dodge Ram. The parts department told me the part would be here in a week. After a week they told me it would be another week. After two weeks they told me it would be at least another month. I will go out of my way to discourage anyone from using Monterey Chrysler Dodge. Incredible customer service! Monica and Lu were very helpful, making my oil change smooth and easy. In comparison to the Jeep dealership off of Seaside, this one blows it out of the water! The service department here in Watsonville is a great alternative if you have had issues with the Seaside Jeep service department (Joseph Duncan is absolutely awful and so is there service manager). I highly recommend those in Seaside to take the 25 min trip to Watsonville to experience proper customer service and fast service.

So I made a 9am appointment for an oil change and a quick inspection 2 hours go by and no call from service I had to call and they say it’s gonna be ready by 1pm and I called again at 2pm and service writer is on lunch and called me at 3pm that my car is ready oh and I didn’t even get a car wash or any explanation if my car needed Anything else this place sucks not going back

I came in for some warranty work and had a great experience. The service advisors were really friendly and clearly communicated with me how long things were going to take and what exactly was being done to the car. The technician who worked on my vehicle went through the extra effort of dealing with some aftermarket accessories that were in the way of the repair and reinstalled them perfectly. I was also provided with a rental that was given to me onsite so I didn’t have to deal with another rental car company. The parts department was also very pleasant to deal with. Some other dealerships treat you like you don’t know what part you need which is rude at best. This dealerships department just asked what I needed and gave it too me, no hassle.This place is leagues ahead of any other CDJR in the state let alone the Bay Area. Corporate should take note and make this location a regional or even national model. Very happy and will be coming back whenever I need repairs again.

Worst experience....we bought a new Jeep 2 years ago and it was the best experience... friendly staff..great price and interest rates...now with a credit score thats 200 points higher the interest rate was twice as high and the price we seen online for the truck we wanted the day before was $2,500 higher the online price had change gee I wonder how that happened..I kept catching loan officer in a lie....what a waste of time an hour and and a half drive because we thought we would have the same experience as the first time... totally different staff on hand😠😬

Bought my van from them, however questioning there precertification program. Had issue with the brake pad being excessively worn down and squealing, MBC says its normal. Our regular service technician at Pascillas Tires says it was dangerous to continue driving as is, we decided on being safe and paid to have them changed, so much for precertification. Now we will likely have 3rd party recertify the van, loss of trust and likely will not be using them for any maintenance work.

I have been their twice. The first time it took 2 hours for a tire rotation and oil change.The second time it was to get front and rear brake pads which was recommended the previous time in the inspection summary. All of a sudden rotors got included and they tried to tell me it was in the original summary. So, I paid the $1700 for the job and when I got home I saw that rotors was not included previously. I feel like I got ripped off and didnt have a safe word. I also have decided that auto service in California flat out sucks. Every place is slow and incompetent.
