We purchased a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 from Watsonville Chevrolet, and our Salesperson was Louie. He was great to work with and communicated with us every step of the way. Our vehicle was not on the lot when we were in contract so there were a lot of emails, texts and phone calls, but Louie was very quick to respond and kept us up to date. I highly recommend Watsonville Chevrolet and Louie.

My consultant was no help he was rude, my truck gave up on me 2 times and I asked for a rental he denied it. We had to call and speak to manager for help when I picked up the truck he didnt come out to help me or explain what had happen he told another employee to just give me the keys. Basically kicking me out .

Thought this was a good dealership and was happy with my deal and car until I found out they were shady and tried to send my loan to another bank. Evelyn did my paperwork and I told her I was financing through my credit union. I told this to everyone (sales manager, salesperson) its written on my initial paperwork. Low and behold several weeks later my credit union doesnt have my loan because Evelyn filled out all the paperwork for a different bank. I spoke to Luis and he said Evelyn must have made a mistake and that she does multiple deals in a day so it could have gotten mixed up. LIES, LIES, LIES. There is no way that Evelyn does multiple deals in a day everyday of the week and messes them up, especially when these are car sales for $40K and up. You mess up $40,000 dollar deals? Everyone Ive spoken to about this situation INCLUDING my credit union said that dealerships try to do this so youll finance at a bank they work with so THEY get a better rate of return. No one told me that Evelyn sent my paperwork to a different bank, I only found out because I called my credit union. My credit union said they received the incorrect paperwork made out to a different bank and had been trying to contact Evelyn and hadnt gotten a response. I dont believe anything that comes out of the mouth of a sales person including Luis & Evelyn. I dont believe Evelyn made a mistake this was intentional and they thought I wouldnt notice or push back to have it done correctly. I thought this was a good dealership, every other part of the car buying process went well, until now. I will never go to this dealership again and I would tell everyone who comes here to leave. Because they are nice to your face but then try to sneak stuff past you and hope you wont notice. STAY AWAY they are lying liars.

I requested an Oil Change, Tire Rotation, and to deal with an Airbag recall issue. During the service they were very through and discovered a couple of belts that had cracks in them and changed them with my approval, to avoid a mishap while driving. Very Grateful for the inspection.

Unfortunately the problem was not identified and still remains, somewhat mitigated by the new gas cap.As someone who does most of my own maintainance on my cars, I was dissapointed at not being able to get the “details” about the gas leak problem. I felt shielded away from the people actually working on the car, and am not sure what was really done.

We brought in our 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV for service. The parts were ordered and we brought the car in soon after. The work was done ahead of time, and the car was fully charged. Serafin and the Service Department were great and everyone was very friendly. I have to say they have upped their customer service lately.

They charged me $300 just to see what was wrong with the vehicle (that was the 1st red flag). Talked to one of the guys that worked there and got very unpleasant vibes. Anyways, they told me is would cost about $3,000 to fix. I took the car to another local shop and they did diagnostics for me for FREE! They also told me that they had received a few cars coming from the Watsonville chevy dealership that SAME WEEK because of poor service! I showed them the recommended repairs from Watsonville chevy and they said they missed MANY important details in the diagnostic! If I would have let Chevy fix my car they said it would have put a bandaid on the problem and I wouldve needed to fix it all over again. All that to say, I will never be going here again. Highly recommend going to a local shop if you can and support small business! I went to Street Scene and they were very nice! Oh and forgot to mention that Street Scene fixed my car for $1,000 LESS!!

Buyer Beware! This place is shady.On 5/8/21 I purchased two trucks at $85,000 before taxes and interest. One of the trucks within 50 miles smelled like burning plastic, was leaking from the breaks, and the steering box was going out. I called them since they have a 3 day exchange policy. I left multiple messages and made many phone calls to not even get a return call. I finally drove down there, they allowed us to exchange.Fast forward a few weeks, still dont have my DMV registration or plates, its been 33 days. I did however receive a letter from the DMV stating the truck I traded into this dealership still has me has the registered owner, and that this dealership is the legal owner (I have traded in several vehicles and never once got this). I went to the DMV to transfer my personal plates onto my new truck. The director of the Watsonville DMV said the dealership should have done this when I purchased the vehicle (they refused at the time saying they dont have the forms). She told me I would now need to wait until my sequential plates come in. She then told me my new trucks VIN is not in the system at all, paperwork has not been submitted. By this point Im nervous, I showed her the DMV form I received for my traded in truck. She said that should have never been still in my name and that they need to fix that since I was listed as the owner still. She told me to go talk to them, which I did. I talked to Jeremy, who basically said the DIRECTOR of the DMV didnt know what she was talking about and all the paperwork had been submitted. He said its perfectly normal to retain me as the owner of the truck I TRADED IN to still have me listed as the owner! Seriously?!? Ive never been more upset with a purchasing experience than I am with these guys. They are using Chevys good name to do shady stuff. Reported to BBB & will be contacting corporate as well. Theyve lost me as a customer for life!

If you havent been in a while, dont go. I really liked their quality service for years and prices for that service seemed fair. During Covid we werent able to make appointments online or easily so we havent been in more than a year. Finally, they seemed to be fully open again. I booked apt through online website as soon as I did, I got a call that my booked apt wasnt available. Some one emailed next avail apt would be the 25th, then I called the scheduling who made the apt for the 19th, no mention of why so much mixed information between the website, the email, and the phone rep. When I made the apt I asked how long would be needed for an oil change and to look at my air conditioning. 3 Hrs was estimated, so they planned a shuttle and I told them I would have a time constraint later that day. The day of I took my car in, at check in my sales rep Wayne did not great me, but opened my door and started shoving a paper under my feet then told me they probably wouldnt find what was making sound in my air conditioning. While checking in I told him again I would have a time constraint, he asked what time, I told him I needed to pick it up by noon at the very latest 2pm. At 11:20am he called my husband told him we needed new tires, he told my husband hed need a quick decision saying your wife has a time constraint. My husband approved the work. At 1:30pm I called to find out where my shuttle was and Wayne informed me he had no idea when my car would be done so he didnt want to set up a shuttle for me. I reminded him I had a time constraint and he lied and told me that my husband had given him permission to take whatever time was needed. I told him that didnt sound like my husband so he told me, I had told him anytime between 2-3pm, another lie. I asked that he just schedule the shuttle pick up now and so I could come get the car and hope they were close to finishing. He said no shuttles were available. I then asked what status my car was currently in and he said they had just started the oil change and getting some debris out of my air filter. I said lets skip the tire change and just send a ride. He again said no shuttles, so then I asked to speak to a manager, he said no managers where available. So I asked to talk to a different sales rep, he said sure hold and then hung up on me. My husband and I called back again together, he said nothing more for the situation than doesnt seem like Im going to be able to make you happy. Yes Wayne, you can not make us happy if you fail the promised schedule by 3 hours, lie multiple times about why the schedule changed, not be able to complete the service we brought the car in for, offer zero solutions and then tell us we can not talk to a manager, or a front desk, that there are no shuttles and hang up on me when I ask to speak to anyone that might be able to help me. Of course no manager ever called back. My husband called again today, spoke to a manger who gaslighted us, saying they had to behave this way because we were upset with them. My husband also told them that the air conditioner was still making noise even though they charged us $150 for a diagnostic (which they gave no notes or information about). The manager said the only solution he was willing to offer was to actually look at the air conditioner (ie perform now the diagnostic we were charged for but they didnt do) he refused to refund this charge, and also said he would need us to get our tires changed through them as well. We all make mistakes, but this is a business that spends more time coming up with catch phrases for disappointed customers, than trying to fix their problems.

This was my second visit to Watsonville Chevrolet and I will continue to bring my car here for as long as their service department continues provide the excellent care and commitment they have shown so far. I have been pleased and impressed by the quality of their work, they have been honest and they have not tried to sell me products or services that aren’t necessary. Laser focused on fixing the problem promptly or servicing without complications.I don’t think I have ever had a better experience at any other dealer before. I’m sold.

I went for the standard inspection and tire rotation.I was greeted by very friendly personnel. I was asked if I would want a car wash after the service. I declined the offer and thanked him for it.After the service was completed I go to my car and see my car still dripping with water from the car wash the car got that I asked not to have while at the same time it was still full of bugs in the front of the car from driving on the freeway. Precisely the reason why I declined the offer for the car wash since I knew it would not be washed thoroughly and properly.When I got home I inspected the rotation of the tires to make sure it was actually done. I always make a mark in two of the tires to ensure they were actually rotated. I found out the back tires were moved straight to the front when according to the manual they should have been moved to the front and opposite direction while the front tires straight to the back. Tire rotation is to ensure tires, which are very expensive, last as long as possible, so this is a big deal since this could adversely affect the durability of my tires.

My only reason for writing this review is the fact that they contacted me and just completely wasted my time. I had a car of mine up for sale and I had one of their employees Ryan Gerhard contact me expressing interest in getting the car appraised. I found it odd considering the price I had the car listed at that they would even be interested, long story short they came up with an offer lower than KBB trade in. Understandable if I went to them asking for an appraisal, but they contacted me. When obviously if I am selling my own car privately, I am looking to get private party value or close to it. They didn’t even give me a competitive trade in offer, absolute joke of a dealership.

I was giving them 5 stars but after over 30 days of waiting for our refund.....rating is dropping. My husband and I purchased a brand new 2020 Tahoe last month. They were great about getting us in and out with our new car in one hour and back on the road home. Im disappointed that nobody will call me back about the $4,750 refund I have in writing is due back to us from Chevrolet. Ive called multiple times and nobody will let me know whats going on.

The day I dropped off my vehicle, I was placing my keys into the night drop off box. This was at 6:30 and from what I was told service closes at 5. The door to the night box was open. Walked inside and luckily there was someone that worked there that I left the keys with. I brought it in my vehicle for an oil change and a concern for a rattling noise on the front driver side window. On the night drop off envelope it says do not surpass (blank) amount of cost. Working at a dealership before I knew it would be about $59.95 to 69.95. so I put $70.The day the oil change was preformed there was no call to confirm or elaborate the concern. There was not a call to confirm when the services were done. I arrived to pick up my vehicle and I was greeted with Yeah, what are you here for? Being an understanding person I figured the guy had a long day so I just went with it and told him I was here to pick up my vehicle. The gentlemen looks at his desk and looks overhelmed and says what vehicle it is and the conversation continues as normal. He says yes there was a concern for a noise but we drove it around and didnt hear anything. We can drive it around some other day for you if youd like? I said yes Ill come another day and we can go so I can show you.Gentlemen proceeds to finalize transaction and total comes out to $86.79. I dont confront him I just continue to pay. I know that this was way to much for a simple oil change and for a concern of a rattling noise that is covered under warranty since it still has bumper to bumper coverage per manufacturer. (24,481 miles 2019 vehicle bought new). As Im writing this review I also noticed that the mileage in is 24,481 and mileage out is 24,481. No wonder they didnt hear the rattling noise.Im really upset that this dealerships service department takes advantage of its customers. I have an appointment this Monday with my Silverado and will not be going in for it!

Ive had a bad experience twice when I took my Traverse for an oil change and was charged a lot more than the Gilroy Chevrolet charges. I took my Silverado for an oil change, giving them another chance, and a rattle on the drivers window. When I went to pick up the Silverado they told me they had ordered the part for the drivers window but they didnt do my oil change. So only half of the task was completed. I decided to give them another chance, mainly because I dont want to drive to Gilroy or Salinas for an oil change. While scheduling an appointment I was hung up on. And I know the call did not drop because I heard as the phone was hung up since it makes a loud nocie when you put it down. I waited a couple minutes thinking maybe they will call back but they didnt. Very unprofessional

Their customer service team is great in the service department. The sales department not so much. I just purchased a vehicle (lease takeover) and they’ve taken 3+ weeks to pay off the lease. The lease department was going to send me to collections. I called the dealership sales department, but they didn’t act on it because there’s no money it for them. I called the GM and left a voice message. No response. I just made a lease payment on a vehicle I’m not leasing because the Chevrolet of Watsonville sales team has lost my trust.

I went to 5 chevy dealers in the bay area/LA trying to get a dealer to get a Bolt in my price range NEW since this pandemic. No dealers were having it or wanting to budge on MSRP minus factory rebate and to make matters worse I had a CVAP Clean Vehicle Assistance Program grant and to enroll a dealership that hasnt accept it yet... Its always the first one that is tough.Anyways on behalf of my landlord and his other tenant she suggested I speak to a sales manager, who didnt even know this program existed. I got the numbers and they seem in my price range/what I wanted, no hassle, no pushback, no to match watsonville price you need costco, work at google etc. etc. .And they are now one of the few dealers accepting the grant. A week later as I was raising a extremely large portion of my down the price stayed the same except for the APR my credit was subprime 600 to be expected but little things when you practically pay off a car is good. Very little to no upselling.Didnt get the color I want but with these grants, discounts and rebates I cant complain

I have been to this dealership 3 times to service my new car and every time it has been an issue. First, they accused me of doing damage to a rental car that I did not do. The lady didn’t do the inspection before and was claiming that she did but I watched her and the only thing she did was check the gas level. I got this resolved by making her call her manager which is when he confirmed that there was body damage on the car prior to renting it out. So I have them another chance and took my car in to get an oil change and a $150 detail. They said they would have to keep the car all day in order to do these services. To my dismay, I agreed and when I go to pick it up the next day they had skipped the entire front of my car.. it still had bugs all over it from the trip I had previously took. And they didn’t do the engine or the undercarriage as stated in the $150 car detail. Nobody communicates with each other.. they couldn’t even find my paperwork. It is just a hot mess over there and I don’t have the time or patience to deal with that place again.

I bought a 2020 SIlverado 1500 RST from Graciano Valencia & Armando Castellanos and they were both great to work with! I drove over 4hrs to the dealership since they were able to give me such a fair price on the new truck and my trade in. No other dealer could beat them-and believe me- I tried! They were honest and made sure to follow through with what they told me. It was one of the easiest vehicle purchases I have ever had. Freddy is usually the service advisor I get, hes very knowledgeable and provides constant updates on my vehicle during service. The invoice contains details on the service and recommendations. Jerry, the car detailer leaves my vehicles looking brand new. Definitely awesome service.

I enjoy the service I get here, theyre prompt about getting me to work on time when I drop off my car and I appreciate that.But, this last service I found somebody had cleaned my car and had done a very poor job of it. One side of my truck looks like someone gave up cleaning it before they were finished. This isnt a big deal and Im perfectly happy finishing the job for them, but I feel like it lacks the thoroughness that the rest of my service experience was.

Very Friendly staff but the service is very poorcould be the mechanics are not professionals.Took my truck in for rear wheel bearing leak and check up on transmission slipping.left the first visit with rear wheel heating up possibly for not adjusting the breaks after working on the rear wheelfound a puddle of oil in my driveway after the second visit and was told needed a new oil pan gasket.told them that cant be right since they only worked on the transmission I wanted to pull my car and take it to another dealer since they could not fix or diagnose the transmission correctly and they easily agreed.got a second phone call before picking up the car and was told it was only my drain plug that was loose and not the oil pan gasket .....quick fix and a quick taking back the extra work to change the pan gasket

I bought a brand new 2015, 2500 Chevy Silverado. The truck was a few days late for delivery, not a big deal. Once I was called down to pick it up, I sat in the truck and it had dead leaves across the dashboard and inside the AC vents, as well as some sort of stain on the center console leather. Clearly no one had even seen the inside of this truck before they had called me to come get it. Its been two months since I bought the truck and I am ready for my first oil change. I called 3 days ago to make an appointment, I was transferred twice with no answer in the service department, the receptionist then picked up the phone again and took down a written message for the service department to call me back. Three days later, no call back. I called yesterday to speak with an owner and supervisor and left another message but still, no call back. I called back again today to speak with a supervisor and no one was at the dealership in the supervisor or manager position to take my call, so again I left another message. I called in again today to the service department and was able to finally get an appointment. By the way, 3,000 miles into my brand new truck, my side step bars are loose and rattle constantly driving down the road. I couldnt be more unsatisfied with the service from this dealership, it has been a constant disappointment.

So far my experience is great. Ive special ordered a 2017 Silverado and this dealership was the only one to negotiate the base price and the trade-in value prior to ordering. Charles has been great responding by phone, email or text - and answering all my questions on a timely basis.

WHAT A HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE! I took my car in because I had a check engine light on and explained that I might have had an idea of what the issue was... keep in mind I am not a mechanic. So instead of diagnosing the issue they went based off of my assumption. Everything was fine until the next morning when the check engine light came back on. Confused I took the car back and asked what happened and they said we did what you told us. Now I cant even begin to explain what kind of unprofessional, lack of integrity, and straight excuse that was for not doing their job completely. I am not the mechanic, I brought it there to have a professional fix my problem not for someone to go off an assumption and not even bother to verify if that was wrong or right.... instead they charge me for something that didnt even need to be fixed. At no point did anyany hold themselves accountable for not thoroughly doing their job including management.

Im also not satisfied!You guys should of read my review. Im not lying! They took my money and couldnt fix my car. Never ever going there again! People work hard for their money and these guys rape you and been getting away with it. Well we have options so drive a little further and you will avoid headaches like i did!Too much to list, Ive got voicemails Ive got everything documented down! About a decade ago, I bought my worst car here. Chevrolet S10 pickup. I suppose theres a reason theyre not producing that model any longer. Im interested in a Chevy Volt. I made an appointment with a salesperson for a test drive, and they didnt show up. It always sucks when youre supposed to be a customer, but you wind up a jerk. Ill be shopping for a Chevy over the hill.

They have thieves working at this place. I took my car in for service and they stole my daughters Nintendo 3DS and games. She left them in the rear center seat pocket compartment. They had no business inside the car other than driving it from the service stall and out. The glove box and front center pocket had been gone through. I would not recommend anyone going to this place. Service Department Manager/Supervisor never called back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! pass the word. I will be posting all over the place.
