Im extremely satisfied with the repairs performed on my car. The charge was as estimated and were completed in one day and very reasonable. Should I need body shop repairs in the future I would not hesitate to return to this business.

After someone hit my parked car a week before I left for vacation they were super accommodating got my car in the very next day and it was ready to be picked up in just a few days. They did a wonderful job and if I ever need anything else done I will definitely bring my car back here and will absolutely recommend to anyone that needs work done!

I had a GREAT experience with Castens in Wauconda. Bill is the best, he did everything and more to make my vehicle look amazing. They even delivered my car to my job as I didnt get off until 5:30 which is after they close. It was so great to just be able to get in my own vehicle and go home. I will definitely recommend them to everyone

Very good body shop. I had a bumper cover that needed a bit of repair and refinishing. They were able to get it done properly and the quality seems great. I wont know how well the finish holds up for a while but initial impressions are good. Paint color match was very good given it was a metallic paint. Being a car guy who does body work on occasion I have a very discerning eye and looking this over I was very happy w/ the quality of their repair and lack of excessive orange peel. There are some nibs in the paint which I brought to their attention. They advised me that once the panel is on the car thy can wetsand/buff them out. I have no doubt they will. If you dont see any update to this the finish has held up well and they have wet sanded the nibs out.What sets these guys apart if their communication. Bar none, the best communication Ive ever had. They updated me through the entire process via email and I could not ask for a more painless process.

Rob and team did a fantastic job in my 2016 Toyota Corolla after a rear end accident. My experience was fast, easy, and the final repair on my front bumber looked even better than new! I had a vehicle looked at for an estimate at Casten, unfortunately the insurance company totalled it. I cant speak for Castens repair services but their customer service was excellent and they were very understanding and accomadating about my situation.

Had to bring my car back to re-do repair 3 times due to rust, and mis-alignment from 1st repair. They lied about the repair and failed to ever repair it correctly. After rust bubbles continued to form after 3rd time back I notified insurance and took my car to a better and more qualified shop.New paint didnt match; roof panel totally messed up and installed incorrectly: that paint does not match, plus the adhesive glue used seeps through the plastic roof panel like a wound in your skin. Bubbles of puss formed that ooze out some kind of residue all day long along the roof panel. You can literally see where the adhesive was applied. The shop owner always denied everything- even touching the panel when I saw it with my own eyes off the car.2nd time back in shop for shoty repair to rear panel as I found rust bubbles form around the wheel well again. New paint again. The over-spray literally peppered the entire car as it must have not been covered during paint job. Spent my own time and ton of time and elbow grease removing the over spray from the entire car. I dont know what I was thinking by continuing to take my car back here.After the 3rd time back, the scum sucking owner proceeded to type up a ridiculous 1 page repair warranty letter document in simple short sentences. The document states that all repairs are and will not be guaranteed and no warranty is given on the repairs for and future repairs and defects.The qualified shop took pictures of the job Casten did for insurance purposes and showed me the damage - or repair Casten Body shop did. They never welded the metal panels together. They just slapped in tons of bondo/rubber sealer where the two panels meet and it was a huge 2-3 inch gap of this stuff between the panel and the wheel well. No wonder why the rust kept coming back!Do what you will but this place is a joke. The Insurance agent said to me how that Casten is under fire. Casten might lost their quality reputation and may be taken off the list of reputable repair shops under my insurance company (S.F.) since they have had so many complaints.
